LOS ANGELES (oc).–Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to strike Russian targets with drones deep inside the Russia Federation, with some drones hitting their targets, showing no signs of seeking a peace deal with Russian President Vlafirmir Putin. Zelensky spends money borrowed from the EU at a record pace, showing no signs of working toward settling the conflict. Zelensy blames Russia for invading Ukraine Feb. 24, 2022 when former President Joe Biden refuses to discuss new security arrangements for Ukrainel, instead arming Ukraine to the teeth for fight a proxy war with the Kremlin. Zelensky got his wish once Trump took office to fing a new benefactor in the EU, supply all the cash needed to continue the proxy war with the Russian
Federation. Trump ened Biden’s blank check in military spending with Ukraine, forcing Zelensky to go to the EU for cash.
Trump has done everything possible to let Putin know that the U.S. no longer backs proxy war against the Kremlin, knowing that role has been taken over by the EU. Trump has worked feverishly over th laqst two years to get get Zelensky to join his peace plan to end the over four years Ukraine War. Trump sent his peace envoy Steve Witkoff nine time to meet with Putin to come up with a peace plan that worked for Putin and, at the same time, gave Zelensky a face saving way out of the conflict. Zelensky rejected Trump’s peace plan because it ceded territory in eastern Donbas, territory currently controlled by Russia since 2014. Zelensky and his EU backers rejected all of Trump’s peacemaking because it traded land-for-peace to finally end the over-four year bloody war that his decimated much of Ukraine’s infrastructure, losing over 20% of Ukraine’s best sovereign land.
EU officials joined Zelensky in demanding that Putin reeive no sovereign land from Ukraine. Zelensky and the EU claims that if they ceded territory, following Trump’s peace plan, to Putin, he would be inclined to seize more EU territory in the future. Putin has said emphatically he wants no fight with NATO, has no intent in seizing EU territory. Yet Zelensky and EU officials like French President Emmanuel Macron, U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz all back Zelensky, but, more importantly, reject Trump’s peace plan. When Trump asked the EU to support his war in Ukraine to open up the Strait of Hormuz, the EU turned its back on Trump. EU officials reject Trump’s American First Foreign policy where Trump no long backs a globalist foreign policy, asking the EU for permission in matters of U.S. national security.
Zelensky has been told that no matter how much he attacks Russia with EU-funded weapons, Putin isn’t about to pull out of Ukraine after losing thousands of soldiers and spending billions prosecuting the war. Putin saw the the war when Biden funed Zelensky as a war against the collective West, looking to encroach on the Russian Federation. Today, Putin no longer sees the U.S. as bcking proxy war with the Kremlin, where the EU has taken over the funding source to Zelensky’s war. Trump told Zelensky on many occasions that he shouldn’t have waged war wwith the Russian Federation since they have a more powerful Zelensky. Zelensky actually thinkis that the more cash he gets from the EU the more he can compete with with the Russian military. Trump has told Zelensky to cut his losses, accept he peace deal and end the over four-year-old war.
Zelenssky counts on the EU continue to lend him cash to continue the war with Russia. With no end in sight, Trump has adopted the position to let the two sides battle it out to its heard’s content, realizing that Zelenskyh and Putin aren’t ready to end the war. Democrats and the fake news use the Ukraine War to highlight that Trump breached his campaign promises to end foreign wars. When it comes to Ukreine, Trump has practicasllh stood on his head to get a peace deal, with Zelensky and the EU rejecting any deal with Putin. When it comes come Iran, Trump committed the U.S. military to degrading Iran, hitting underground nuclear and ballistic missile facilities to downgrade Iran’s military. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden never took on Iran militarily, worried that it would create a wide conflict in the Middle East, something that never happened.
Zelensky and the EU continue to squander money on the Ukraine War with Russia when there’s a far better way to resolve the conflict saving lives and cash. Trump gave Zelensky and the EU very opportunity to resolve the conflict, all rejected by Zelensky and the EU because they don’t like Trump’s America First foreign policy. Trump sees the Ukraine war was a stalemate, going no where because boths sides have dug in to a kind of WW I trench warfare. Neither side has the incentive to prevail in the conflict with Zelensky kidding himself that all he needs are more EU cash-and-weapons to oust Russia from Ukrainian territorhy. Trump recognized long ago that the only way out for Zelensky involves trading land-for-peace, something he doesn’t have control of in Donbas since 2015. Trump offered both sides an easy off ramp to stop the carnage and destruction.
