LOS ANGELES *oc).–.Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in Bahrain that no Arab Gulf State would tolerate Iran trying to hold on its sovereignty claim over the Strait of Horumz, leeting Tehran know it’s a red line in the 60 day post=war negotiation period. How Iran possibly thinks it has a sovereignty righ in the Hormuz Strait is anyone’s guess. President Donald Trump must wonder whyt the U.S. didn’t finish of the terrorist group known as the Iranian Republican Guard Corps.[IRGC] that routinely attacks ships in the Hormuz Strait with a heaveily armed group of swift boats, capable to causing damage to commercial ships trainsiting the Strait. Iran would like to charge transit fees in the Starit when it’s an international waterway not, under internationallaw, subject to arbitrary and capricious fees imposed by Iran. Iran knows that it faces more bombing if it tries to sh uhut down the Hormuz Strait.
Trump has made the nuclear issue and freedom of navigation the main talking points heading into the 60-day post war period where both sides of the conflict are expected to work out their differences. Only yesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said Iran does not seek sonflict but wants to cooperate under terms of the MOU and new Deconfliction Cell designed to prvent more military action. Rubion told the Gulf Cooperation Council that “We want to ensure that there is no part of this deal that’s undermined that in any way undermines the security, the stability or the prosperity of any of the partners in the reigon,” letting the Gulf States know that the U.S. has their backs. Members of GCC want Iran to stop threatening the States with drones and ballistic missiles. Trump and Rubio wants to expand the 2019 Abraham accords with all Gulf States recognizing Issrael.
Iran continues to support it proxy terror group Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran once had a network of terror groups including Yemen’s Hothi rebels, Gaza’s Hamas terrorists and Iraq’s Taliban to help Palestinians take their land back by putting Israel in a constant state of war. Israel under U.S. leadership has become the most powerful military in the Middle East with no country capable of threatening its existence. Only Iran looked to press radical Palestinian groups and other Shiite and Sunni groups to wipe Israel off the map. Netnanyahu considered Iran an existential threat because of its 1,000 pound stockpile of 60% enriched uranium capable of building 10 A-bombs. But with Iran’s nuclear enrichment industry decismated by U.S. and Israeli bombing, Iran is no longer the same threat. Trump must pivot in the 60 day period to what’s more important.
Rubio wanted to reassure the GCC that the U.S. would not accept Iran charging feeds for transiting the the Strait of Hormuz. –International waterqways a do not belong to any nation state. Thus a fundamental principle in the world today, without chich the wourld would be in total chaos,” Rubio said. Rubio is well award of how China trerats the South China Sea as its sovereign waterway, despite the U.S. transiting the region with its naval warships. China has been building military bases in the South China Sea on shallow atolls or shallow sandy areas where they have not right to sovereignty over the region. China was rebukes by The Hagues’s Internatioal Court of Justice, ruling that the waterways are subject to the laws of the seas, not China’s claim to soverignty.in the South China Sea where China asserts sovereignty over the South China Sea.
NATO’s Secretary-General Mark Rutte said that Trump did the world a service degrading =Iran’s military, yet NATO and the E uroopean Union did nothing to join the fight with Iran to degrade Iran’s military at a time when Iran was supporting various proxy group to attack U.S. and Israeli interests. EU officials can’t explain the real reason why they turned their back on the U.S. refusing to lend Trump a hand in degrading Iran’s nuke problem. Rutte knows that the EU shunned Trump because he refused to kowtow to EU demands for Trump to take a subordinate role in making decisions.on Iran. If Trump listened to the EU, they would have insisted they would have capitualated to Iran, never went to war. Trump’s decision to degrade the Iranian military to the point it can no longer harass the Middle East. EU officials can’t explain why they shunned Trump.
No president in recent history has been treated so badly the the EU than Trump, all because his American First foreign policy defies the globalist approach where everything done in in foreign policy and national security must be apprpved bu Brissels. EU is not a real Uninted State but an economic and travel union, allowing various countries to travel and work within the Schenegin group of economic countries that share maily economic interests. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden deferrend entirely to Brussels for making decisions about U.S. foreign policy and national security. Rutte’s admission of how Trump’s Iran War degraded Iran’s war degrading Iran’s war machine. EU officials must stop playing games with Trump and support a key transtlatic ally that’s always been their for the EU. Trump did the world a big favor degrading Iran’s military.
