LOS ANGELES (OC).–Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced today, on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, that that the United States and Iran reached an agreement to end all hostilities in the Iran War, scheduling a formal signing ceremony on June 19 in Switzerland.  So many broken promises leave the public skeptical but this time things sounded differently with both sides agreeing that the hostilities were over.  Trump wants Israeli Prime Minister Benjanin Netanyahu to call off, for the time being, all attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon to honor the agreement that included a suspension of all Israeli attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon.  No doubt that Netanyahu will do his best to honor Trump’s peace agreement.  .Pakistani Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif, who was the chief mediator in the peace agreement, announced today that the United States and Islamic Republic of Iran has reached an agreement.

Trump said multiple times over the last two months that a peace agreement was near, all to disappoint both sides when nothing happened other that both sides trading military blows.  “The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” Trump wrote on Truth Social shortaly after Sharif’s announcement on his birthday.  Trump looks forward to the UFC spctacle on the White House lawn, planned for weeks in the first episode on its kind, turning the ha White House into a sporting spectacle.  Sharif said the pact called for “the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon,” said Shairif, recognizing that Trump must reign in his good friend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from rocking the boat.  Today’s deal  would reopen the Strait of Hormuz without restrictions to commercial shipping.

Whatever the deal, it would immediately open the Hormuz Strait to commercial shipping, bringing much needed oil, gas and fertilizer through the Strain to destinations around the planet.   “Ships of the World, start your engines.  Let the oild flow,” Trump wrote on Truth Social, not knowing exactly when Iran would honor the agreement.  U.S. officials agreed that the U.S navy would end its blockade on Iranin ports, preventing Iran from selling oil, natural gas and fertilizer tin world markets.  Iran’s economy and currency have taken a beating with Trump announcing April 12 a blockade of all Iranian ports.  Since then, Iran has lost over $500 million a day in lost oil and gas revenue,  creating real hardship in the Iranian economy.  Ending the U.S. blockade whould improve Iran’s revenue stream, making the Iranian economy far more productive, a real bonus from the peace deal.

Democrats and  the fake news refused to acknowledge the breakthrough today, raising the rift of the U.S. and Israel.  But with anyone close to nesponsilb they know that Netanyahu isn’t about to detrail Trump’s peace deal.  Israel has it problems with Hezbollah.  Trump and Netanyahu wanted in the final agreement that Iran would no longer support proxy groups like Heabolah, Hamas and Houth rebels.  Iran has driven a tough bargain, expecting Trump to release $24 billion in  frozen Iranian assets, end the blockade on Iranian ports, remove all U.S. sanctions to restrict oil sales in world markets. Whatever happens in Lebanon, Iran still accepts the conditions for a long-term peace agreement that allows Iran to grow its economy, stabilize its currency and prosper under peaceful boundaries.  Trump has granted Iran the lron’s share of incentives to settle the conflict.

Trump has made a big deal out of Iran’s nuclear programs wanting Iran to agree that its would not produce and A-bomb.  Iran has said repeatedly that it was not out to build a bomb but could never explain why stockpiled over 100 puunds of 60% enriched uranium.  When Trump cancelled former President Barack Obama’s 2015 nuke deal May 8, 2015, he did it out of spite to Obama.  But Trump finds himself making concessions to Iran much the same way as Obama when he cut a deal with the late Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.  Khamenei ordered Iran’s nuke industry to ramp up after Trump canceled the agreement. Pakistan says Iran has agreed in the final agreement to give up any plans to produce a nuclear bomb.  Trump knows that Iran’s capacity to build a nuclear bomb  Building an A-bomb,is not is the cards for Iran trying to save their mullah government from collapse.

Long overdue, the U.S.-Iranian peace makes sense for the U.S,. and Iran.  Neither country has benefited the 106 day war that’s harmed the U.S. and world economy, shutting down the Hormuz Strait and Iranian ports.  When the deal is signed June 19, neither country will have an advantage with Iran getting much of what they want to restart their economy.  Trump gets the U.S. and world out of an economic mess, drving skyrocketing oil prices and global inflation.  Ending the war gives Iran to say they won the negotiations with Trump having little to show for American taxpayers some $0 billion. No question that the Iran War was not popular with the American public, certainly not Democrats. So when it comes to polkitics, ending the war robs Democrats of another fake campaign issue.  Trump accomplished his military objective and can now move on to peacemaking in Ukraine.
