LOS ANGELES.–Reporting a dire shortages of Ukrainian troops and supply lines under siege by the Russian army, the Ukraine War has been lost for a long time. Only Ukraine’s 47-year-old PresidentVolodymyr Zelensky continues to gaslight his people with nightly pep talks designed to buy him more time, when in fact that war has been lost for over two years.  Western press sources are only recently reporting facts about the war, have been gaslighting the public as much as Zelensky.  Former President Joe Biden also gaslighted Congress and the American public to believe he and Zelensky would defeat the Russian Federation.  Biden and his former Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told the public that the goal of the U.S. mission in Ukraine was to degrade the Russian military to the point it could not longer wage war.  If that’s not a declaration of war, then what is?

Biden lied constantly to Congress telling elected officials that the U.S. must win the Ukraine War to stop Putin from invading other European countries. Biden and Zelensky made up their own cock-and-bull story to get Congress to pony up over $200 billion in taxpayer cash to fund the bankrupt Kiev government and war with the Kremlin. Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, were easily duped to go along with a suicide mission.  Biden and Zelensky circulated fake news about Putin suffering from a terminal illness and the Russian military was near collapse.  Three years later, Russia controls 25% of Ukraine’s best territory with Russian continuing to add sovereign land by the day. Trump wants to end the Ukraine War at the earliest possible to time to stop the destruction and carnage. Trump was asked by NBC News David Muir at the Sept. 27, 2024 debate if he wanted Ukraine to win.

Ukrainian soldiers Pokrovsk said Russian troops changed their tactics, advancing from the flanks no long a pincer movement, throwing off defenses of Ukrainian territory. Kiev has been unable to supply enough troops and military hardware to fend off Russian forces, attesting the steady advance along the 600-mile front lines.  Kiev has gotten the word that Trump is busy at work behind the scenes working out the terms of a ceasefire and peace deal.  Zelensky said it was “very dangerous” for Ukraine not to be included in any peace talks, when Putin has already ruled out dealing with Zelensky directly.  Zelensky called Putin a coward for not confronting him directly in peace talks but Trump and Putin do not believe that Zelensky must be present to work out terms of any peace deal.  Zelensky refuses to admit that he’s lost the war continuing to badger the U.S., NATO and EU for more arms-and-cash.

Zelensky put his lead general Mykailo Drapatyi into the Donbas battlefield to show that he’s doing more to stop the Russian advance.  “The war is won by logistics.  If there is no logistics, there is no infantry, because there is no way to supply it,” said the deputy commander of the Da Vinci Wolve battalion known by the call sign Afer.  Ukraine has lost the settlement of Velyka Novosika, the biggest gain since taking the city of Kurakhove in Donesk last month.  Because of heavy fog in the area, Russia amassed more forces about Velkya Novosika, where Ukrainian surveillance drones failed to supply enough intel.  All the logistical failures on the battlefield have led to Russia’s unrelenting advance in Ukrainian sovereign territory, adding to the gains already made by Russia in Donbas.  Key logistical routes are now under bombardment from Russian forces, preventing reinforcements.

Reports from the battlefield near Pokrovsk-Paviohrad-Dnipro highway indicate the highway is “alraedy under the control of Russian drones,” said a Ukrainian commander. “Now the road is only 10% of its former capacity,” attesting to the dire situation on the battlefield.  Instead of letting more Ukrainian troop slaughtered, you’d think Zelensky would signal to Trump to do what’s necessary to bring the war to an end.  Reports of new recruits, few and far between, show that they’re not prepared for the kind to battle faced in the region.  Reports by Ukrainian troops say the situation on the battlefield is “catastrophic.”  Zelensky should heed reports from the front and recognize, more than ever, that letting Trump end the war should be his top priority not trudge ahead causing more mass casualties.  Why Zelensky refuses to acknowledge defeat is a matter of great concern.

Zelensky is obsessed with his own survival including his Kiev government that could be toppled at any time.  As soon as Zelensky admits defeat, the Ukrainain people will know that he gaslighted them for years, telling them he was winning the war.  Finally the U.S. and foreign press are admitting Zelensky’s failures on the battlefield to enable Trump and Putin to negotiate what’s become a Ukrainian killing field.  Zelensky has grossly exaggerated Russian losses through the three-year war, always concealing formidable losses to his own troops.  “We are fighting back as much as we can, as best as we can,” said an unnamed Ukrainian commander.  Time is long overdue for Zelensky to admit defeat and let Trump and Putin find a settlement to stop the destruction and carnage.  Trump told Zelensky he should have negotiated a settlement three years ago but opted for war with the Kremlin.
