LOS ANGELES.–Before leaving for a one-week recess, 52-year-old House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) acquiesced to Democrat claptrap that giving Ukraine $60 billion in new military aid would stop 71-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin from taking over Europe. Johnson showed why conservatives must remove him from House Speaker, spewing the same rubbish as 81-year-old President Joe Biden and 46-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zeleinsky. Biden and Zelensky tell Congress and the European Union [EU] that the Ukraine War prevents Putin from seizing more countries in Europe, a completely fake narrative designed to browbeat Congress into coughing up another $60 billion in Ukraine funding. More cash to Zelensky and Kiev means prolonging the reckless and destructive war that has destroyed Ukraine’s infrastructure and bankrupted the country.

Johnson bought all the Cool-Aid drinkers lock, stock and barrel, believing the unverified rubbish that without more funding Ukraine would lose the war with Putin, allowing him to take over Europe. “Providing lethal aid to Ukraine right now is critically important. I really do. I really do believe the intel in the briefings that we’re gotten. I believe Xi [Jinping] and Vladimir Putn and Iran really are an axis of evil. I think they’re in coordination with this. I think that Vladimir Putin would continue to march through Europe if he were allowed,” Johnson said. Johnson has full bought the fake Biden and Zelensky narrative about Putin, all to get Zelensky the cash he needs to run his bankrupt government. Johnson shows he’s not fit to serve as House Speaker, unable to think for himself. Why did he resist sending the Senate bill to the House floor for a vote for the last two months?

Johnson seems to understand over the last several months that giving Ukraine another $60 billion would postpone the inevitable or going to the peace table to end the Ukraine War. Johnson showed at least on the Ukraine War issues he’s in lockstep with the White House and other Russian war hawks in Congress, willing to destroy U.S.-Russian relations to fund proxy war against the Kremlin. Johnson apparently doesn’t see the big picture, instead swallows Biden and Zelensky’s egregious propaganda and demonization of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “To put it bluntly, I would rather send bullets to Ukraine an American boys,” Johnson said, believing Biden and Zelensky’s rubbish. Sending more cash to Ukraine only prolongs the inevitable, as Biden and Zelensky have been told by their generals. Both have been told repeatedly there is no military solution to the Ukraine War.

Johnson showed he’s as naïve as he looks, accepting the White House and Kiev propaganda about the Ukraine War. Former President Donald Trump, now embroiled in his Manhattan hush money trial, says he’ll end the Ukraine War in 24 hours, essentially telling Zelenksy he won’t get any more U.S. taxpayer cash. Johnson, who claims to be a MAGA Republican, obviously doesn’t believe in Trump’s wisdom about Ukraine. “This is a live-fire exercise for me as it is so many American families. This is not a game. This is not a joke,” Johnson said, thinking he’s protecting his son from eventually fighting in Europe. Biden and Zelensky have done a masterful job of brainwashing Congress and the EU into thinking Putin has sinister motives to take over Europe. Putin has told numerous sources that he wants the U.S. to stop sending lethal arms to Kiev, that all.

So, when it comes to Johnson staying on as House Speaker, conservative Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Az.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) all support a notice to vacate vote for Johnson. But Johnson showed for all to see he buys Biden’s rubbish about the Ukraine War. Biden has made sure that generations of U.S.-Russian relations are dead for the foreseeable future. Now considered a mortal enemy, the Kremlin no longer considers the U.S. a cooperative partner. Gone are the days of diplomacy, détente and arms control, all because Biden and Zelensky insist Putin wants to take over Europe. There’s enough paranoia in Poland and the Baltic States, once Soviet satellites, to believe Putin has them in his crosshairs. Johnson buys the same intel that told Congress in 2003 that Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein posed an urgent threat to U.S. national security.

Unlike with former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), who was ousted with a notice to vacate vote Oct. 2, 2023, Johnson could be saved by Democrats now that Johson does Biden’s bidding. Johnson thinks he did the right think letting House war mongers vote to continue the Ukraine War into the indefinite future. Johnson thinks it makes the world safer for his son entering the U.S. Naval Academy in the Fall. Whether or not Trump makes it to the finish line in the 2024 election is anyone’s guess. Trump has the situation right on Ukraine that there’s no end to the destructive war that destroyed U.S.-Russian relations. Johnson showed he’s no different than rank-and-file House warmongers looking to keep the fight going with the Kremlin and Communist China. If Biden gets four more years, doesn’t Johnson think his son will be fighting in China to save Taiwan?
