Conservative GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) said the next House Speaker must oppose more funding for the Ukraine War. Republicans are split over whether to supply more funding to Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky. No one knows how any to the some $200 billions has been spent or whether waste, fraud and mismanagement has cast doubt on Ukraine’s use of U.S. taxpayer money. Boebert said the next House Speaker must oppose the Ukraine War, where war hawks on both sides of the aisle have joined President Joe Biden in baking his proxy war against the Kremlin. Biden and his National Security team have controlled the narrative, telling the press that without the Ukraine War 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin would take over all of Europe, or at least former Soviet satellites. No one has verified Biden’s clams about Putin’s intentions.

Boebert, an opponent of Biden’s Ukraine War, said the GOP has a majority 117 to 110 opposing Biden’s war. That number has grown in the last six months, especially watching Zelensky’s counteroffensive fizzle, unable to meet its objective to oust Russian forces from Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Biden and Zelensky have told the U.S. Congress and European Union parliament that if Ukraine loses the war, WW III would follow close behind. But Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) who opposes Ukraine funding said the Biden’s White House doesn’t know what it’s doing in Ukraine. Zelensky changes his story to whomever the audience, saying Putin commits genocide against the Ukrainian people to, committing various war crimes including child trafficking to defending European democracy. Whatever the audience, Zelensky has a new excuse for the war against the Kremlin.

Jordan wants the White House to explain its mission in Ukraine. So far, Biden has failed to explain why the U.S. must be at war with the Russian Federation, other than saying it’s defending Ukraine against Russia’s naked land grab. Biden can’t explain why he’s funding a proxy war against the Kremlin. Biden said March 26, 2022 in Warsaw, Poland that Putin should no longer lead the Russian Federation. Does that mean t hat Biden’s objective in Ukraine is regime change in Moscow? Biden’s 70-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austic said April 26, 2022 in Ramstein, Germany that the aim of the U.S. mission in Ukraine is to degrade the Russian military to the point it can no longer wage war. If that’s not a declaration of war on the Russian Federation, then what is? Biden has disguised his motive in funding multibillion dollar proxy war against the Russian Federation.

Boebert says the next House Speaker must oppose the war, leaving Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) not in step with the Freedom Caucus that opposes the war. Boebert and Jordan don’t want the GOP spending more taxpayer cash on Ukraine, when the mission hasn’t been specified. Jordan saying he doesn’t know what Biden’s trying to accomplish in Ukraine. “For the first time, we saw that Ukraine funding alone does not have a majority of the majority’s support,” Boebert told Steve Bannon on his “War Room” radio show. “Any Speaker has to recognize that and not allow more funding for Ukraine to come to the floor. We are absolutely tired of spending it,” Boebert said. Boebert can’t see any Republican funding more Ukraine War spending, largely because all the funding has not resulted in Kiev taking back its sovereign territory. Boebert wants Biden to spend taxpayer cash on the chaotic U.S. Southern border.

Democrats now have a battle on their hands to get Biden his blank check to fund the Ukraine War. Had Democrats left McCarthy as House Speaker, they probably would have gotten Ukraine funding for the foreseeable future. For whatever reason, House Minority told rank-and-file House members to vote yea to oust McCarthy. McCarthy was ousted 216 to 210 all because they followed order from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Jeffries told the Democrat Caucus to vote against McCarthy, because it would sow chaos in the GOP conference. Jeffries didn’t realize that the next House Speaker, should Jordan get the job, would oppose more Ukraine funding. Biden took for granted that vast numbers of Democrats and Republicans backed his proxy war with the Russian Federation. Biden found out the hard way that growing numbers of Republicans oppose for Ukraine War funding.

Democrats got what they deserved helping eight Freedom Caucus members oust 58-year-old House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy was far more supportive of Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin than Jordan, the front-runner to win the next Speaker’s post. Democrats tossed McCarthy under the bus after he worked with them Sept. 30 to stop an Oct. 1 government shutdown. Why Jeffiries thought it was in Democrats’ best interest to oust McCarthy is anyone’s guess. Democrats thought it would do more damage to the Republican Party, showing that it could not government ousting its current House Speaker. Whatever support Biden still has with Republicans, like Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky), it could all fall apart quickly if Biden’s old sales pitch no longer flies. Biden and Zelensky have very little to show in 19 months of war with the Kremlin.
