Gearing up for a pitched impeachment battle with House Republicans, President Joe Biden, 80, set up a White House war room not to deal with the failed proxy war in Ukraine but to protect him against mounting charges of corruption while he served as former President Barck Obama’s Vice President. Biden paints himself a innocent of all of his 53-old-Hunter and his 74-year-old brother Jim’s foreign business dealings, netting the Biden family over $30 million, maybe more. White House communication teams claims House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) have zero evidence of wrongdoing, only wild conjecture imposed on Republicans by its “puppet master” former President Donald Trump. When it comes to Biden’s foreign business dealings, Democrats demand that Jordan and Comer show proof Biden’s was paid in his personal account.
If the White House weren’t concerned about an impending impeachment inquiry, why would they set up a war room stacked with attorneys, PR experts and others designed to refute all the GOP charges, especially if they really have zero evidence. All things considered, Republicans have mounting evidence of Biden’s corruption in his overseas business dealings. Having denied any knowledge of Hunter’s business dealings, Biden already set his own trap, knowing there’s plenty of emails, some using various aliases, that show Joe talking to Hunter’s overseas business contacts. So, when it comes to Republicans having no evidence, Democrats are dreaming that Jordan and Comer wouldn’t pursue impeachment. Democrats think they can turn the facts around on Republicans during an election year, showing GOP priorities are about stirring chaos not helping ordinary citizens.
Preparing to the fight ahead, Democrat hope to keep the public focused on Trump four indictments, blaming Republicans for diverting attention onto Biden. But House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) isn’t swayed by Democrat arguments, whether or not Trump gets convicted or not. Democrats and the press have Trump already convicted of all 91 felonies before anyone is sworn into court. When it comes to Biden, it all starts in Ukraine with Biden, while vice president, landing Hunter and his former business partner Devon Archer cushy jobs on the board of a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company, Burisma Holdings. Why did Burisma pay Hunter and Archer about $100,000 a month for their services, when neither had any energy experience. Biden’s involvement in Ukraine strikes an ironic cord with Biden funding a reckless proxy war against the Russian Federation.
Jordan and Comer have FBI documents showing that Biden was flagged in a 1023 report for possible corruption. Whether or not there’s any validity to the report is anyone’s guess. What’s known for sure is that Hunter and Archer made millions off Biden’s connections in Ukraine. Why Biden agreed to toss out decades of diplomacy and détente with Russia to fund a proxy war against the Kremlin isn’t altogether clear. Trump was impeached for asking Ukraine’s Prsesident Volodymyr Zelensky to dig up dirt on the Bidens in Ukraine. Now an impeachment inquiry looms seeking the same information. How ironic that Trump’s Democrat-motivate impeachment comes full circle with Biden now in the hot seat. Democrats and the press claim that only Trump and the GOP deserve investigation, not Biden and Democrats. McCarthy, Jordan and Comer are about to turn the tables.
Why all the hubbub at the White House over a possible impeachment inquiry unless the GOP has amassed some incriminating facts? “Comparing this to past impeachments isn’t apples to apples or even apples to oranges, it’s apples to elephants,” said an unnamed White House aide. “Never in modern history has an impeachment been based on no evidence whatsoever,” attesting to the White House strategy. White House doesn’t accept any GOP evidence that implicates Biden in corruption while Vice President. Forget about recent report of Joe using at least three aliases while sending emails to Hunter’s foreign business associates. No evidence would be acceptable to the White House, no matter how egregious the crimes. Jordan and Comer have plenty of evidence that Joe received payments into camouflaged accounts all connected with a series on shell corporations and companies.
Democrats wouldn’t mobilize a White House war room designed to challenge any possible impeachment inquiry unless they were concerned about fallout on the 2024 election. Keeping the heat on Trump’s upcoming trials have been the focus of Democrats and the press, hoping to divert attention away from Hunter’s foreign business dealings. It’s no accident that lead Democrat House impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) asked Comer to open up an investigation into Trump’s son-in-law, billionaire Jared Kushner. Whatever Kushner made from Saudi Arabia or any other investor since leaving the White House has nothing to do with Joe’s contacts with Hunter and Jim Biden’s foreign business contacts. “Eight months of partisan investigations have turned up no evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden,” aid Kyle Herrig, heading the Democrat Congressional Integrity Project.
