Promised that he’d hit Russia with the worst sanctions in world history to stop 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine, 80-year-old President Joe Biden found out the hard way that economic sanctions don’t really work. Putin’s economic, after a brief decline in the ruble, bounced back, primarily because Putin’s allies in the BRICS economic alliance, including Brazil, India, China and South Africa, continue to buy copious amounts of Russian oil. Biden and his 76-year-old Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen have promised but not delivered on crippling economic sanctions for the Ukraine War. Biden failed because he does not have a global consensus on the Ukraine War, with China and India backing Russia’s attempt to curtail U.S. and NATO influence in. Biden insists the world supports his sanctions but clearly it’s only Europe and a few Asian countries.

Biden didn’t level with the European Union [EU] or certain Asian countries about funding the Ukraine’s proxy war against the Kremlin. S Few countries back Russia’s invasion of Ukraine but they don’t back a U.S. proxy war against the Russian Federation. Biden has adopted Ukraine like a 51st state, supplying Kiev unlimited cash-and-weapons. Ukraine wants Russia out of every inch of Ukraine’s territory. But before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, Russia had troops in Donetsk, Luhansk and Crimea. Ukraine’s 45-yar-old PresidentVoldymyr Zelensky said he wants to oust Ukraine from every inch of Ukraine. Without U.S. cash-and-weapons, Zelensky would have no way of ousting Putin from Ukraine. During the first year of war, Zelensky lost 25% of Ukraine’s sovereign territory, not to mention the destruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure for going to war against Russia.

Zelensky gambled in March 2022, rejecting Putin’s offer to end the conflict by recognizing the independence of Donetsk, Luhansk and accepting Russian sovereignty over Crimea. Zelensky rejected Putin’s peace proposals, accepting Biden’s cash-and-arms to fund a bloody proxy war. Biden and Zelensky think they can vanquish the Russia Federation, conflicting with most military experts that see Russia as outlasting the U.S. and Ukraine. Biden said March 26, 2022 that he wanted Putin out as Russian President. When his 69-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said April 26, 2022 in Ramstein Germany that the aim of the U.S. military was to degrade the Russian army to the point it could no longer wage war, the Battle Royale started in Ukraine. One year into the fight, Ukraine finds itself in a grinding war of attrition with the Kremlin.

Biden’s sanctions failed to stop Putin from making up the cash selling cheap Russian oil to countries that don’t sign onto Biden’s crippling sanctions. Whatever Biden and Yellen have done to stop Putin, it hasn’t worked, especially slowing down the the Russian war machine. If anyone’s let out of ammo and weapons, U.S. weapons manufacturing has taken a big hit, with factories unable to keep pace with the arms-and-ammunition sales. French President Emmanuel Macron has led the global effort to get the warring factions to the peace table. So far, Biden and Zelensky have rejected any of Putin’s peace overtures because he refuses to leave certain areas he’s taken taken in Ukraine. Macron thinks Ukraine would have a better chance of getting its land back in peace talks, not on the battlefield. Armed with new weapons, Zelensky thinks he’ll defeat the Russian Federation.

Biden can’t fathom the fact the whole world is no on the U.S. side, especially with China creating a stronger bond with Russia than ever. Biden’s insulting statements drove Beijing into Putin’s hands. Wrecking decades of cooperative relations between Russia and China, Biden has endangered U.S. and European national security. Now Biden faces the ugly truth that he can’t defeat the Russian Federation in Ukraine on the battlefield. Ukraine might win some skirmishes here-and-there but he’s made the country suffer because of his delusion to topple Russian President Vladimir Putin. Biden and Zelensky deny that the Ukraine War has caused oil shortages, skyrocketing prices and fueling the worst inflation in over 40 years. Biden blindsided the U.S. Congress and European parliament, launching a proxy war against the Russian Federation.

Biden and Zelensky have embarked on a self-destructive binge against the Russian Federation, using the military to achieve a political solution on the border dispute between Ukraine and Russia. Biden has been told by his 64-year-old Chairman of the Join Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Miley that there is no military solution in Ukraine. Yet Biden continues to placate Zelensky, giving the 44-year-old Ukraine President a blank check to run his government and continue his proxy war against the Kremlin. At some point, the public will catch on that the Ukraine War hurts the U.S. and world economy. Two bank failures this week in the U.S. demonstrate the damage done to the U.S. and world economy from the Ukraine War. Without the commodity price inflation, the banks would not have failed because of the collapse of the bond market from Biden’s economy.
