Ukraine’s 44-year-old wartime president Volodymyr Zelensky was greeted today at the White House for the first time by 80-year-old President Joe Biden, thanking Biden for all his support for Kiev and the war with the Russian Federation. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) slammed Zelensky’s visit, saying that America must do what’s best for America not Ukraine. Former President Donald Trump, 76, called Zelensky the “Welfare Queen,” accepting some $40 billion in U.S. taxpayer funds to run the bankrupt Ukraine government and war against the Kremlin. When the new GOP House convenes Jan. 3, 2023 there’s growing conservative opposition to the blank check Biden has given Ukraine. “Of course the shadow president has come to Congress and explain why he needs billions of American’s taxpayer dollors for the 51st state. This is absurd. Put America First!!!” Greene said.

Congress on both sides of the aisle has rubber stamped Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine, today announcing another $1.9 billion in military aid, including Patriot Missile Batteries. Zelensky expects to address a joint session of Congress, justify the expenditures to keep his war going against the Russian Federation. Zelensky called Putin’s use of the “winter” to harm the Ukrainian people a war crime, continuing to knock out Ukraine’s electrical grid. Zelensky thinks everything Putin has done in 10 months of war is a war crime, at different times calling Putin a “war criminal,” trying by genocide to wipe out Ukraine’s people. Zelensky has his excuse du jour for why it’s essential for the U.S. to continue funding the Kiev government and war against the Kremlin. U.S. elected representatives have rubber stamped Biden’s Ukraine policy, not admitting the damage to U.S. national security..

Biden has never explained why he’s trashed decades of U.S.-Russian relations to adopt Ukraine’s border dispute with Russia as a U.S. problem. Greene, who can sometimes go off the rails, joins forces with other conservative House members like Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) to question Biden’s Ukraine policy in the new Congress. Opposition voices like Greene have been drowned out, with Russian-hysteria prevailing on Capitol Hill. Zelensky’s latest excuse for the war with Russia is the prospect that Putin wants to conquer Eastern Europe, especially former Soviets satellites in the Baltics. Greene represents the minority voice raising objections to Zelensky trying to sell a joint session of Congress on the reasons to back Kiev. Kiev has no cash to support its civilian government, relying on the U.S. for funding. Zelensky will tell a joint session of Congress that Putin tries to take over the world.

Zelensky has rejected all ceasefire or peace talks, insisting 70-eyar-odl Russian Presidient Vladimir Putun must withdraw from every inch of Ukrainian sovereign territory. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, 99, still lucid in his old age, says Ukraine must make compromises with Putin to end the war. Instead of meeting with Biden and a joint session of Congress to announce a new peace plan, Zelensky comes to ask for more cash and lethal weapons. Conservatives see no end in sight to the ongoing hemorrhage to the U.S. Treasury from the Ukraine War. Biden won’t explain the national security significance of waging a proxy war against the Kremlin. Biden has no explanation for why, as Greene says, he treats Ukraine as a 51st state? Greene and other conservatives in Congress want more accountability for backing the Ukraine War, something Biden takes for granted.

Trashing U.S.-Russian relations to fight a proxy war against the Kremlin, conservatives want to know how the war ends. If you ask Biden and Zelensky, they’re ready to escalate the war giving Kiev advanced surface-of-air Patriot Missile batteries. Kremlin Spokeswoman 46-year-old Maria Zakharova said last week that giving Kiev Patriot Missile Batteries would make the U.S. a party to the war. Zelensky plans to tell a joint session of Congress that the Ukraine War is necessary to hold Putin’s line on taking over Europe, maybe the Baltics. Zelensky has zero proof for his rationale but it tugs at the heartstrings of U.S .elected officials knowing how Nazi leader Adolf Hitler once took over Europe in 1939, after promising peace. Zelensky’s message starts with him insisting Ukraine has held the line against Russian aggression in Eastern Europe. NATO has that responsibility in Eastern Europe.

Russia hysteria still floods Capitol Hill, with Biden capitalizing on years of bad blood with the Kremlin. America-First voices like Greene or Jordan carry little clout in the House or Senate for now. Zelensky is going to get aother $1.9 billion, including the deadly Patriot Missile Batteries. How that translates into more Kiev victories is anyone’s guess. Putin has already talked today about expanding the Russian military to 1.5 million, countering new military hardware sent to Ukraine. Instead of proposing peace, Zelensky plans to sell a join chamber of Congress on spending more cash on the Ukraine War. Whether the GOP takeover of the House makes any difference, at least some anti-Ukraine War voices will be heard in Congress. All the wars opponents have been drowned out by Biden’s pro-Kiev claptrap. Biden has made no effort to tell Zelensky that the U.S. can’t fund the war indefinitely.
