Losing the war badly in Ukraine, 79-year-old President Joe Biden doubled down on sending more cash-and-weapons to Ukraine. Buying Norwegian-made NASAMS surface-to-air long-range air defense systems to Ukraine, Biden hopes to stop the relentless Russian advance to seize more Ukrainian strategic territory in the Donbas region. President Vladimir Putin takes Biden’s Ukraie proxy war seriously, mounting a furious offensive against Ukraine, all because Biden made clear he plans to take out the Russian leader. Kremlin officials no longer see the Ukraine War as a war between Kiev and Moscow, but between Washington and Moscow. Sending more cash-and-advanced weapons systems is Biden’s way of admitting defeat, knowing that Kiev has lost all of its strategic Black Sea coastline. Sending more advance weapons systems hasn’t helped Ukraine before and won’t help it now.

Whatever weapons Biden sends to Ukraine, it’s been defeated easily by a more experienced Russian military, capable to penetrating air defenses to accomplish its strategic goals of seizing more Ukrainian coastal territory. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 59, told the G7 summit in Schloss Elmau, Bavaria that Putin has lost the war, because he didn’t capture Kiev. How pathetic that Blinken claims victory over the Kremlin when in the past four months the Russian Federation has land-locked and partitioned Ukraine, cutting off Kiev from its coastline and all port cities. If that sounds like victory to Blinken, then what’s the real story? Biden announced today that he’s sending another $7.5 billion in cash to fund the bankrupt Ukraine government, unable to pay its government salaries without U.S. funding. Americans taxpayers are now funding Ukraine’s government and the war against the Kremlin.

What’s Biden and Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky doing taking on the Russian Federation? Both say they’ll win the war, fabricating daily reports about Putin’s terminal illness and the Russian military running out of personnel and military equipment. But the proof of the pudding is in what’s happened on the ground, not in some PR office in Washington or Kiev. Ukraine has lost its entire Black Sea coast and all its ports, land-locking the country. Hoping to get back some lost territory, Zelensky welcomes the cash and NASAMS surface-to-air Norwegian-built missile systems. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said last week the Ukraine War could take years to recover lost sovereign territory to the Russian Federation. No one the European Union [EU] has paid to keep the Ukraine government running, only Biden funds the Kiev government.

Proving Ukraine advanced HIMARS, High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, hasn’t stopped the Russian military from seizing more territory. Putin takes seriously Biden supplying Ukraine with advanced weapons systems, knowing they could one day threaten his reign as Russian president. When Biden confirmed March 26 that he wanted Putin removed as Russian President and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said April 26 that the U.S. mission in Ukraine is designed to neutralize the Russian army, the Kremlin got serious about defending itself. Kremlin officials see the Ukraine War as a U.S. proxy war against the Russian Federation. Zelensky talks about defeating the Russian Federation but, so far, he’s only sustained massive losses. Zelensky pleaded with the U.S. and NATO to set up a no-fly-zone and commit troops to Ukraine’s defense but no country has committed any troops.

Biden’s approval ratings mirror the American public’s disappointment with his foreign policy and economic leadership. Biden insists the war will go on as long as he’s president, showing, if nothing else, that he can’t pivot from current war against the Russian Federation. Battling to hold onto Lysychansk, Ukraine lost Sievierodonetsk last week, mentioning little to the U.S. or foreign press. Biden doesn’t know whether new purchases of Norwegian-built NASAMS will make any difference in the battlefield. What’s known for sure right now is that the Kremlin controls Ukraine’s Black Sea coastline, leaving Kiev land-locked and partitioned. Unless there’s a major change on the battlefield, it’s doubtful Ukraine will get back its sovereign territory anytime soon, if ever. At some point Biden and Zelensky will have to admit they’ve failed in their war against the Russian Federation.

Everyday that goes by in the war, Ukraine loses more infrastructure and sovereign territory. Biden continues to fully fund the bankrupt Ukrainian government and the war against the Russian Federation. How Biden and Zelensky think they’re going to topple the Putin government or degrade the Russian military is anyone’s guess. Sounds like they believe their own propaganda that Russia can’t continue to support the war. Biden and Zelensky don’t like to report on obvious facts on the battlefield, including Kiev’s loss of the entire Black Sea coast and all its ports. Whether Ukrirne gets more HIMARS or new NASAMS weapon systems, there’s no guarantee that they’ll get the upper hand. Reports from the battlefield show Ukraine military morale problems after sustaining more strategic losses. Whatever cash and weapons Ukraine gets from the U.S., it’s no guarantee that anything changes.
