Speaking on ABC News “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos today, 58-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the obvious, that Afghan was a dangerous place especially during the chaotic-and-panicked exit. “This is the most dangerous time in an already extraordinary dangerous mission, these last couple days. And so, we will do everything to keep people safe. But the risk is very high,” Blinken told Martha Raddatz. Blinken didn’t take any responsibility for creating the highly volatile atmosphere because the White House procrastinated, waiting until U.S.-backed Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country Aug. 16. Biden announced April 17 that the U.S. military and civilians would be out of Afghanistan by Aug. 31, three months delayed from former President Donald Trump’s May 1 deadline, getting guarantees from the Taliban that no harm would come to Americans.

When ISIS-K, Afghan-based terror group exploded a suicide vest at the Abbey Gate of Hamid Karzai’s Airport Aug. 25 13 U.S. soldier were killed. Because of 78-year-old President Joe Biden’s chaotic exist strategy, a stampede created massive crowds outside the airport, presenting an easy soft target for ISIS suicide bombers. No one knows whether the Taliban helped coordinate the suicide bombing. What’s known for sure is that Biden greeted the dismembered remains of 13 U.S. soldiers at Dover, Del, Air Force Base today. Biden’s last ditch evacuation created the chaos-and-panic that led to the massive crowds that opened the door to ISIS terrorists. Biden showed great empathy for the corpses but had no coherent exit strategy in Afghanitan. Joe told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos Aug. 18 that nothing differently could have been done. He can’t possibly believe such nonsense.

Biden had four months in which to plan and execute and orderly-and-safe evacuation of U.S. and Afghan citizens before the Aug. 31 Taliban takeover. He told Stephanoulos he didn’t know the Taliban was so close to taking over Kabul. All Joe had to do was read his hometown paper, the Wilmington Star News to know the Taliban had already taken over all of Afghanistan. When Joe says he didn’t have the intel to know that the Taliban was close to taking over, he either doesn’t read or remember his briefings. No U.S. intelligence briefing said anything other than the Taliban had already taken over Afghanistan. “We have about 300 American citizens left who have indicated to us that hey want to leave. We are very actively working to help them get to the airport, get on a plane and get out of Afghanistan,” Blinken told Raddatz, avoiding completely responsibility for the fiasco.

Watching Biden greet the remains of 13 U.S. soldiers speaks volumes about the White House’s failed exit strategy. Had Biden taken the four months to evacuate U.S. and Afghan citizens, there would not have been the stampede on the airport, created because of a lack of proper planning. “The hard reality of this mission is that at a certain point, direct contact was necessary between our people, our men and women in uniform, and those coming into the airport,” Bliken said. Blinken can’t admit that the White House wasted months for an orderly-and-safe evacuation, believing that Ghani’s government and military had plenty of resources to keep the Taliban at bay. Ghani went running for his life Aug. 16 when he was told that the Taliban had entered the presidential palace. He didn’t want to wait-and-see, fearing he’d get beheaded by the Taliban in the public square.

ABC doesn’t ask Blinken the tough questions because they’re part of the fake news that only wants to advance a Democrat agenda. ABC News does everything possible to make excuses and provide cover to Biden. All honest witnesses know that Biden is responsible for the deaths of 13 U.S. soldiers because he waited until the last minute to start the evacuation. What was dangerous was not ISIS or the Taliban but the chaotic manner in which the White House executed the evacuation. Keeping U.S. troops and civilians safe required the military to start evacuating troops and civilians over the last four months, not since Aug. 16. Biden and Blinken have no one to blame but themselves for creating the chaos-and-panic that left massive airport crowds, sitting ducks for ISIS-K terrorists. Blinken talks about a really hard mission but doesn’t admit he made things far more difficult.

Time is long overdue for Biden and Blinker to accept responsibility for the fiasco in Kabul. Whether they get out the remaining American is anyone’s guess. What’s known for sure is that White House procrastinated, waited until the last minute before evacuating U.S. and Afghan citizens. Kabul’s evacuation became a mission impossible but only after Biden waited until the last minute to start the evacuation. With ISIS intermingling around the vast crowds outside the airport, it’s a miracle that another suicide vest hasn’t gone off yet. Whether or not the Pentagon bombs ISIS targets, it’s not going to make a dent in the terror group hell-bent on avenging the death of ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. No one in the Biden White House or the media wants to admit that Biden committed high-crimes-and-misdemeanors in handling the Afghan evacuation. If this isn’t dereliction of duty, then what is?
