Raising the 2020 version of Russian meddling, Democrats and their friends in the press are spreading new conspiracy theories about Russian interference in the 2020 presidential election. Gaslighting the public, Democrats and the media insist that any information that fingers 77-year-old former Vice President and presumptive Democrats nominee Joe Biden in Ukraine corruption must be Russian disinformation. Playing both sides of the disinformation game, the public doesn’t have a clue, nor do Biden’s supporters care what really happened in Ukraine when Biden headed former President Barack Obama’s anti-corruption task force. What happened beyond dispute is that Joe landed his 50-year-old, former cocaine addict son Hunter, a cushy job with corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings board. Hunter knew nothing about energy, yet was paid $83,000 a month.
If that’s no the definition or corruption then what is? Democrats and pro-Biden print and broadcast outlets insist that Joe’s dealing with Ukraine have been fully vetted, with nothing improper coming up. When you analyze the facts, Joe engaged in undeniable corruption to land Hunter an $83,000 job. No matter how much it’s ignored by Democrats or the pro-Biden press, facts are stubborn things. Hunter made million in Ukraine without lifting a finger. William Evania, director of the pro-Democrat National Counterintelligence and Security Center, said that Kremilin-related actors have tried to “denigrate” or “undermine” Biden’s campaign. “Kremlin-linked actors are also seeking to boost President Donald Trump’s candidacy on social media and Russian television,” said Evania’s statement. Evania, like former MI6 Agent Christopher Steele who wrote Hillary’s fake dossier, offers zero proof.
Capitalizing on widespread disinformation in the media, it’s easy for partisans like Evania to make unproven statements that benefit the Biden campaign. Evania said Ukrainian parliamentarian Andriy Derkach “is spreading claims about corruption—including through publicizing leaked phone calls—to undermine . . .Biden’s candidacy and the Democratic Party,” Evania said. How clever to preempt any truth about Joe’s shenanigans in Ukraine by claiming it’s all Russian disinformation. That’s exactly what former FBI Director James Comey did when he justified seeking warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act [FISA] Court to wiretap Trump campaign officials. Comey now faces possible indictment for violating FISA, for supplying the court fake probable cause from Hillary’s bogus dossier compiled by Steele. Evania, to protect Biden, discredits Biden’s corruption as Russian disinformation.
Watching the pro-Biden, anti-Trump media run with the story shows the extent of media complicity with Democrats’ narrative to protect their presidential candidate. Asked about Evania statement at his golf resort at Bedminster, NJ., Trump dismissed the reports of Russian meddling. “I think that the last person Russia wants to see in office is Donald Trump, because nobody’s been tougher on Russia—ever,” Trump said. Democrats and the media narrative haven’t changed since 2016. It’s all about Russian meddling in the election. Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton practically stood on her head accusing Trump of being a “Putin puppet.” Hillary based everything, like former FBI Director James Comey, on her fake dossier, tying Trump to the Kremlin. Showing that Evania is part of Democrat fake news, he blamed Trump for not punishing Russia for alleged mercenary Afghan Taliban attacks on U.S. troops.
New York Times, nonprofits like Evania’s group and others have pulled out all the stops to protect Biden. Democrats and their friends in the press cite U.S. intel agencies in 2016 all concurring that Russia meddled in the election. Yet the focus of James Comey’s FBI probe and former FBI Director Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation was on Trump’s campaign meddling in the election. Democrats and the press blamed the Trump campaign for the WikiLeaks email dump in July 2016 that implicated Hillary in corruption at the Democrat National Committee [DNC] and cheating on the presidential debates. Whether the Russians hacked the DNC emails or not, Hillary cheated and got caught. No Democrats, the press and nonprofit groups can admit they’re busy discrediting any reports that implicate Joe’s corruption in Ukraine because it hurts his chances in November.
Evania’s nonprofit is a perfect example of a partisan group used by Democrats and the press to discredit reports that Biden enriched his ne’er do well son Hunter in Ukraine. Hunter admitted on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Oct. 15, 2019 that it was probably “poor judgment” to accept the Burisma Holdings job. How do Democrats, the New York Times and nonprofits, like Evania’s, undo Hunter’s admission. Leaking Biden’s phone conversations that show he tried to get Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired for looking into Burisma Holdings corruption has suddenly become Russian disinformation. When you consider that Evania’s group holds no credibility except with pro-Biden Democrats, what’s the public supposed to believe? Unlike past election cycles, there’s no longer any pretence that Democrats control the mainstream press and nonprofits to advance their political agenda.
