LOS ANGELES (oc).–President Donald Trump plays a waiting game with Iran, not jumping into a bad peace deal that gives the face-saving mullah regime something to crow about. Talkin inside the regime is about beathing the Great Satan, showing, over since Feb. 28 that it can go toe-to-toe with the most powerful nation on earth. So, for the mullah regime it’s about public relations, proving to the global community that it can take on the U.S. and prevail in any peace talks. Iran’s new Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei demanded that the U.S. pay Iran $24 billion if it really wants to show good faith in any negotiation. That’s the same government that only recently said the United States should pay Iran reparations for the war and recognize the sovereignty of the the Strait of Hormuz. Trump has watched Iran play around with peace talks, refusing to get real.
Trump knows the dame done to the Iranian economy from the April 17 blockade of Iranian ports, preventing Iranian ships from ingress or egress into its launching points. Trump can wait out the Persian nation while its economy and currency continue to fall apart. Trading attack with Iran, Trump looks content to keep the war going for a while to drive the mullahs to make a more realistic decision. When it comes to restarting the war, Trump wants the Pentagon to build up its missile stockpile before going all out on Iran;s energy infrastructure. Iran’s mullahs think they have Trump on the run when, in fact, he’s several steps ahead of the Persian regime trying to make a PR statement about keeping the war going to show the world it can take on the world’s biggest superpower. Trump waits while Tehran squirms no knowing what Trump will do next.
Trump gets all kinds of pressure to end the war from Democrats and the fake news, looking to score political points before the 2026 Midterm elections. If you watch CNN and MSNow, formerly MSNBC, its all about Trump creating an economic and foreign policy disaster when, in fact, despite the Iran War, the economy is booming by anyone’s standards. If you measure economic growth employment and stock market growth, where’s the Democrats; and fake news argument? Trump would like the war to end but noti by buying Iran off, repeating the same misTakes of former President Barack Obama when he signed an unenforceable Nuke Deal in 2015, handing Iran billions in cash and sanctions relief. Trump doesn’t want to look like he’s paying foff the Iranians. Trump wants a deal that for the long-run ends the Iran nuclear threat with its 1,000 pound stockpile of 60% enriched uranium.
Trump told the press that the war would end at some point in the future. “We’re going to come out of Iran very quickly—one way or the other, where it’s a piece of paper or the very tough way. The very tough way may be the easier way,” Trump said, referring to restarting the bombing campaign on Iran’s energy infrastructure. Iran doesn’take Trump seriously, watching him go along with Pakisania mediators trying to reason with the mullah regime. Led by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, he’s done everything possible to get both sides to compromise to end the war. Every country on the planet wants the war to end to restore reasonable oil and natural gas prices, stopping the energy inflation that’s causes energy and food prices to rise almost everywhere. Trump know he battles low approval ratings in large part because of high gas prices.
Firing more missiles at U.S. military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, Iran knows that it has no friends left in the Arab Gult States. Arab Gulf State wants to respond in kind firing missiles at Iran. But they’ve all restrained themselves while Trump and Israel complete the military intervention to de-militarize the mullah regime. Apart from firing missile, Iran has no air defense, navy of air force to defend the country. Whatever is left of its nuclear program, Iran really has nothing left of its deterrent capabaility. When Trump cancelled Obama’s Nuke Deal May 8, 2018, the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told the Republic Guard Corp to go all out on nuclear enrichment, eventually producing 1,000 of 60% fissile material. Iran’s mullahs used the nuclear stockpile as a deterrent to the U.S. and Israel, despite the fact that it had no A-bomb close to coming out.
Trump wants Iran to agree to stop generating weapons grad fissile material to , once and for all, end the Iranian nuclear threat. Whether Iran admits it or no, it uses the future threat of a bomb to stave off its enemies. Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proudly declared Iran a nuclear state Feb. 9, 2010, whe it had not bomb but advance centrifuges to enrich uranium. Whether admitted to or not, Trump may not get in the current peace talks Iran to agree to anything when it comes to its nuclear program. Trump said last years that Iran’s nuclear programs was “obliterated,” not needing a commitment from Iran what to do in the future. Ending the war benefits Iran and the U.S., largely for economic reasons. Iran wants its econom and currency back in the black. Trump wants to end the runaway energy prices that have hammered down his approval ratings.
