LOS ANGELES (oc).–President Donald Trump, with help from Pakistan Pirme Minister Shehbaz Sharif, move closer to peace deal with Iran, ending all economic sanctions and the war in Lebanon against its Hezbollah proxy militia.  Trump negotiated brilliantly, letting the mullah government know that time is on his side while he enforces with the U.S. navy a blockade on all Iranian ports, preventing Iran from supplying product to its global customers like China and India.  Trump stood fast over the pressure to end the war, even if it met a bad deal for the United States.  Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tx.) and retiring Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) complained about giving Iran too much without guarantees it could no longer enrich uranium.  But Trump is the only one that knows the inside of the deal, knowing what’s best for U.S. foreign policy and national security.  Movement toward a deal gets closer.

Joining Israel’s war with Iran, Trump wanted to complete what he left off when he agreed to end Israel’s 12-day war with Iran.  Trump joined the war using B-2 Stealth bombers to drop GBU-58 bunker-buster bombs on Iran’s underground nuclear sits.  So, when it came to Trump going back Feb. 28 to finish the job, he wanted to prevent Iran fro ever producing an A-bomb.  Democrats and the fake news pretend that Iran was nuclear threat to Israel and the Mideast, preventing the war was no necessary.  Democrats and fake news insisted that Trump had no rationale for starting  war with Iran.  When you consider that Iran stockpiles 1,000 puunds of 60% nuclear material, you’d think they understood the justification for completed what was started, but not finished, in June  2025.  News about an imminent peace deal buoyed world financial markets and price of oil.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said Saturday threr are a “narrowing of differences” but that no final deal had been reached yet.  Muttple sources closely connected with the pace talks not authorized to speak publicly told wire services that an agreement was moving in the right direction.  Iran thinks that nuclear development for peaceful purposes was an “inalienable” right yet the mullah regime seems to soften on releasing its 1,000 pound nuclear stockpile to a third party like Russia.  Moving the  60% enriched uranium stockpile to Russia has been discussed for months.  Iranian officials apparently agreed to open up the Strait of Hormuz to allow commercial shipping, largely from Arab Gulf countries.  Iran’s mullah regime realized that the nuclear issue was not a big stumbling block, considering they express no desire for a nuclear bomb.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his main concern, about all else, was that Iran was stopped from developing an A-bomb/  “President Trump and I agreed that any final agreement with Iran must eliminate the nuclear diagger,” Netanyahu said, agreeing in principle to end his bombing campaign in Lebanon against Hezbollah. Unlike Russia and Ukraine, Iran’s mullah government and Trump realized that they have much to gain with peace deal that ends punitive economic sanctions on Iran, allowing Iran to resume selling crude oil.  Iran’s mullah rulers realized that it’s more important for their long-term survival to end the war with the U.S., allowing Iranian ships to meet deliveries of crude oil and natural gas to large customers in China and India. Ukraine and Russia seem hell-bent on continuing a war that drains the Russian and Ukrainian economies.

Whatever objections from House and Senate Democrats or some Republicans, Trump sees only positives in ending the Iran war, largely to energize the economy before the 2026 Midterm elections. Trump has knows there’s a diminishing return to war and a definite peace dividend, especially if world oil markets drop prices.  Whatever pain U.S. consumers have at the pumps or markets, it’s all about to get better by ending the Iran War.  Iran can boast about getting its sanctions ended and face-saving for its “inalienable” right to enrich uranium.  Trump has no problem with Iran enriching uranium as long as it’s 3.5%, just enough to run in nuclear power reactors, not produce weapons grade material.  Ending the war gives Trump and Iran all the face-saving necessary to boast a big victory to its people.  Democrats and fake news will never give Trump any credit.

When it comes to the art of the deal, Trump proved hs still has the magic touch when it comes to real estate and now international relations.  Showing military force in Iran proved that Trump isn’t hesitant to use American military power whnn it’s necessary.  All the Democrat and fake news criticism is about politics, hoping to convince voters that they should reject Republicans in the fall.  But when the dust settles with the Iran War, the public will eventually see a big win for U.S. foreign policy and national security.  All the sacrifices with higher pump price was a small price to pay to neutralize the Mideast’s chief state sponsor of terrorism. Trump has made the U.S., Mideast and world a safer place with Iran knowing its limits. Whether wanted or not, Trump approval raitings will get a bump for pulling off what most pundits thought was impossible, neutralizing Iran.
