LOS ANGELES (OC).–President Donald Trump warned Iran again to make a deal to end the Iran War or face more U.S. and Israeli bombing, telling the mullah government that nothing will be left of the current government.  Trump has issued similary warnings in the past, agreeing only reluctantly to take Pakistin up on a temporary ceasefire to give diplomacy a chance. Iran’s mullah leaders, run largely by the Iranian Republican Guard Corps [IRGC], rejected Trump’s peace proposals, insisting the U.S. pay Iran war reparations and recognize Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.  Trump rejected Iranian demands, demanding that Iran open up the Hormuz Strait without and restrictions or preconditions.  Iran wants to run the Hormuz Strait like a turnpike, charging transit fees to various country.  Arab Gulf State have demanded that Iran open up the Hormuz Strait for business as usual.

Trump told the European Union and U.K. to get involved with opening up the Strait of Hormuz, primarily because they get some 20% of their oil from the Persian Gulf. U./S. energy experts claim the U.S. gets none of its petroleum or natural gas from the Persian Gulf, all the more reason why the EU should help open up the Hormuz Strait.  All the time-and-effort Pakistan puts into peace talks, you’d think Iran would take them seriously, instead saying they can’t “trust” the United States.  When it comes to trust, Iran has been secretly stockpiling weapons grade uranium for only one purpose, to build its first A-bomb.  Trump wants Iran to turn over its 1,000 pounds of 60% enriched uranium.  Iran told Trump no, preferring to discuss its nuclear program once the war ends.  But with no end in sight, Trump is fed up with the Islamabad peace process.

No world powers accept Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, yet the EU and Asian countries have offered nothing to open up the Hormuz Strait.  EU officials like French President Emmanuel Macron and U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer advance peace proposals but offered no military help in ousting Iran from the Iran War.  Trump warns Iran it faces complete destruction unless it signs onto an acceptable peace plan.  Iran’s mullah government refuses to compromise on the Hormuz Strait, attacking commercial ships, largely from the Arab Gulf States, transiting the Strait.  Why the EU has no skin in the game when they get some 20% of their oil and natural gas from the Persian Gulf is anyone’s guess. EU and U.K. officials s also offered Trump nothing concrete.  EU officials have real problem with Trump operation U.S. foreign policy unilaterally.,

Iran’s official state news agencies say that the U.S. refuses to make any concessions to Iran, showing mo basis to end the war. “The United States, offering no tangible concessions, wants to obtain concessions that it failed to obtain during  this war, which will lead to an impasse in the negotiations,” said the Mehr news agency.  Trump would be willing to make some concessions on Iran’s nuclear stockpile but won’t offer concessions when it comes to Iran’s sovereignty over the Hormuz Strait and paying Iran war reparations. How could Iran possibly think that it can set up a turnpike in the Strait to charge whatever fees it deems appropriate in an international waterway.  Trump wants no concessions when it comes to opening the Strait of Hormuz, expecting Iran to stop attacking commercial ships. Only recently, Iran hit the United Arab Emirates [UAE] nuclear site with drones.

Iran’s dron attack on a UAE nuclear facility met condemnation from Raphael Grossi, head of the U.N.’s nuclear watchdog agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency [IAEA]. “military act that threatens nuclear safety is unacceptable,” Grossi said but has no way to enforce such aggressive action.  UAE has done nothing to warrant an Iranian strike on its nuclear facilities, other than the fact that it operates U.S. military bases on its territory.  Since Feb. 28, there have been numerous Iranian attacks on Arab Gulf States, showing that Iran could never again pretendp,g any alliance with Sunni Gulf States.  Iran actually thought striking Arab Gulf States would pressure Trump to stop the war.  Arab Gulf States actually want Trump to finish the job with Iran, meaning regime change.  Iran has burnt all its bridges with Arab Gulf States, now more closely aligned with Israel.

When it comes to Trump’s recent warnings, it falls on deaf ears in Tehran.  Iran’s radical mullah government is in terrorist mode, only actively attacking commercial ships that dare to transit the Strait of Hormuz.  Trump would never accept Iran’s sovereignty over the Srrait, nor would he accept Iran charging for the privilege of transiting a global waterway.  Iran has no legal right to run the Hormuz Strait  as its sovereign territory.  Pakistan’s effort to mediate peace talks with the U.S. have failed to yield any results.  Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif know that Iran holds an untenable position seeking to control the Hormuz Strait. Trump can either resume bombing Iran’s energy infrastructure of fight it out with the IRGC in the Hormuz Strait.  Iran finds itself on a collision course with more U.S. and Israel attacks sometime soon.  Islamabad could not get results.
