LOS ANGELES (OC).–Accused by Democrats and fake news of dementia and acting “unhinged,” President Donald Trump conducted state business at the highest level of diplomacy and business savvy, advancing U.S. foreign policy and national security in an official visit to Beijing.  Chinese President Xi Jinping rolled out the red carpet with all its pomp-and-circumstance for Trump, knowing his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, never visited Chin in his four years in office. Biden, of course, was cognitively impaired, incapable of conducting state business without a massive cover-up by White House staff and Democrat elected officials.  To this date, former Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris inisist Biden was completely intact, without any cognitive impairments.  Kamala’s testimony runs counter to the vast majority of honest observers.

Biden all but destroyed U.S. relations with Russia and China, denouncing both countries openly as communist dictatorships.  Biden boldly told the press in 2022 that he would send American troops to defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.  From that day on, Beijing withdrew its support for any global cooperation with the U.S.  Biden’s statements all but killed Sino-American relations, know Xi’s strong belief that Taiwan was prrat of mainland China.  Trump hasn’t fallen into that trap, avoiding any discussion of U.S. policy on Taiwan when it comes to being part of communist China.  Chinese Foreign Minister Spokesman Mao Ning told Trump, “the most Taiwan question is the most important issue in China-U.S. relations,” warning Trump about taking Taiwan’s side like Biden.  Trump has said nothing about defending Taiwan in case of a mainland invasion.

So, when it comes to dealing with state issues, Trump isn’t as unhinged as his predecessor, committing the U.S. to defending Taiwan.  Apart from Taiwan Semiconductor, the world’s largest chip maker, there’s nothing Taiwan produces tha’s worth going to war.  Gone are the old days when the U.S. adhered to the 1954 mutual defense treaty.  President Jimmy Carter ended the muual defense treaty in 1979 when he signed the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act, recognizing only one China, one the one in Beijing.  Biden went out on a limb saying he would defend Taiwan when it ran afoul with the one-China policy.  Trump wouldn’t make that mistake now or in the future.  Mao Ning thinks the most important issue to preserve close U.S.-Sino relations is for Trump to recognize that Beijing has a right to sovereignty over Taiwan, regardless of past U.S. foreign policy.

When President Jimmy Carter signed the Taiwan Relations Act, he knew the U.S. could no longer defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion.  Whatever the history in the 1940 Maoist Revolution, it was up to Beijing to future out what’s best to reclaim its sovereignty over the Island of Formosa.  When pro-democracy protests broke out in Taiwan June 30, 2020, the U.S. or other Western powers made no attempt to rescue Hong Kong.  When the U.K. lost its 99-year lease to manage Hong Kong July 1, 1997, Beijing promised “one country, two systems.” Well that all changed in 2020 when anti-mainland forces were set down by communist China.  Whatever happened to :one country, two systems,” Beijing asserted its power over pro-democracy protesters in 2020.  When it comes to Taiwan, Beijing feels the same way but know Taiwan would put up a bigger fight.

China wants Trump to refrain from opining on the issue of Taiwan, something that killed U.S.-Chinese relations under Bidien.  “If it is handled properly, the bilateral relationship will enjoy overall stability.  Or, the two countries will have clashes and even conflicts, putting the entire relationship in great jeopardy,” Mao wrote about the Taiwan issue. China war hawks like Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), would trash the U.S.-Chinese relationship to defend Taiwan over any invasion. Trump has a very different attitude now that he knows the U.S. needs China to maintain prosperity for U.S. farmers and consumers.  All the inflationary pressure would be mitigated if Trump ends his punitive tariffs and duties that have soured U.S.-Chinese relations.  Avoiding any discussion of Taiwan gives Beijing the respect it wants to decide for itself what it must do in Taiwan.

Trump showed Democrats and the fake news what it means to conduct effective diplomacy with communist China.  Xi Jinping respects Trump restraint when it comes to Taiwan.  “It’s an honor to be your firend,” Trump said, promising improved future relations. “U.S.-Chinese relations “is going to be better than ever before,” Trump said, looking to score trillions in investments in the U.S.  Trump recognized that he went too far when it came to imposing tariffs and duties to reduce the trade imbalance. Now that he’s prosecuting a costly war in Iran, Trump looks to bolter U.S. economic growth by improving U.S.-Chinese business relations.  Anti-China war hawks in Congress will no doubt slam Trump’s flatter words to Xi Jinping.  Trump expects more Democrat and fake news criticism, no matter what he does in China or any other foreign country.
