LOS ANGELES (oc)/–Democrats on the House Oversight committee released Ghislaine Maxwell emails to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Espstein obtained by subpoena from Esptein’s estate.  Democrats reviewing the emails say that President Donald Trump was mentioned numerous times over the last 15 years, though Epstein has been dead by suicide in the New York Correctional facility in 2019.  Most the email exchanges were before Trump was president.  One email by Epstein claims that Trump spent considerable time with a women the Oversight Committee named as a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking crimes.  One Epstein email says Trump “knew about the girls,” though there was no mention of any sex crimes.  White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt said Democrats on the Oversight Committee “selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.”

Democrats and some Republicans obsessed with the Epstein files is all about humiliating Trump, hoping his embarrasses the GOP before the 2026 Midterm Elections.  “These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense see right through this hoax and distraction from the government opening back up again,” Leavitt told White House reporters.  House Oversight committee identified the person in the emails as Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein survivor that committed suicide.  Giuffre wrote a book about her experience at Mar-a-Lago, calling Trump a perfect gentleman.  Trump apparently tried to help Giuffre get babysitting jobs when she needed work.  Giuffe’s book published in 2000 “Nobody’s Girl,” never accused Trump of any wrongdoing yet Democrats continue to dig and smear.  Interviewed in prison by White House Atty. Todd Blanche, Maxwell never implicated Trump.

Democrats don’t buy that Maxwell told Blanche the truth about anything related to Trump, in fact, saying only exculpatory things about him.  “Never witnessed the President in any inappropriate setting in any way,” Maxwell, said, confirming she doesn’t recall Trump at Epstein’s house.  “The President was never inappropriate with anybody,” Maxwell told Blanche.  “In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects,” something Democrats and the fake news reject.  Many of the emails involved correspondence between Maxwell and Trump biographer Michael Wolff.  One email involved an exchange between Epstein and Wolff clarifying whether Trump kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago.  “Trump said he asked me to resign,” Epstein said.”Never a member ever . . . of course he knew about the first as he asked Ghislaine to stop,” Epstein said.  Trump never said Epstein was member of Mar-a-Lago.

Reviewing the emails, House Democrats and fake news look for anything to smear Trump, when there’s a whole lot of nothing.  Democrats have advanced a multi-pronged strategy to discredit Trump calling him a dictator, saying that he flouts the Constitution and rule of law to advance his criminal agenda.  When it comes to the Epstein files, Democrats and the fake news want to throw as much mud as possible, all to implicate Trump in a vast conspiracy to cover-up his involvement in Epstein’s pedophile cult.  Some of the emails date back to 2005, 10 years before Trump announced he was running for president.  Trump filed a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for saying Trump penned a lewd birthday card for Epstein, with Trump denying that he penned anything.  Liberal media outlets advance the Democrat smear campaign implicated Trump in anything nefarious.

Wolff published an unauthorized book on Trump’s West Wing, harboring the kind of vindictiveness of anyone spurned from getting any of Trump’s attention.  Before Epstein’s death Aug. 10, 2019, Wolff had his share of contacts with Epstein, trying to dig up as much dirt as possible on Trump.  He once advised Epstein to set Trump up about not being in his plane or his home, but concluding that Trump could be a valuable resources in the future, better to not blackmail him.  Epstein was always a New York socialite, not in Trump’s league, always trying to tag along if he could.  So when it comes to outsiders like Epstein and Wolff, they envied Trump and sought to climb into his circles any way possible.  When Trump became president in 2016, Wolff and Epstein were left out in the cold, no longer with the same limited access when Trump was the talk of the town.

Democrats and fake news obsession with the Epstein files is a carefully calculated Democrat strategy to discredit Trump before the 2026 Midterm elections.  Democrats and the fake news want to make it out that Trump was a lot closer to Epstein than what the facts say,  Epstein and Wolff lost their access to Trump once he became president, Trump had moved on from the many sycophants clinging to him for attention.  Now the media’s attention is all about smearing Trump before the 2026 Midterm election, hoping to keep the Epstein files in the headlines.   When it comes to Trump’s involvement with Epstein, there hasn’t been much for years, even when they were occasionally photographed by New York tabloids.  When it comes to Democrats and the press, they must keep the illusion that Trump and Epstein were close friends to make Trump look as bad as possible.
