LOS ANGELES (OC).–FBI Director Kash Patel said in posted a statement that the FBI continues to look for accomplices, looking to explain how 22-year-old assassin Tyler Robinson assembled a high-powered, scoped rifle on the roof of a building perched at Utah Valley University.  Video tape before the shot was fired showed two unidentified individuals giving hand signals, prompting the FBI to go after all leads in the shooting of Charlie Kirk.  Patel said the FBI is pursuing “all leads” trying to determine whether he had any “possible accomplices.”  “We are meticulously investigating theories and questions, including the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, the text message confession and related conversations . . . “ Patel said, showing that the investigation is ongoing.  While the FBI has the trigger man, they don’t know who else participated.

When the bullet struck Charlie Kirk’s neck, it looked like at least two unnamed people looked like they were giving signals.  Whether that’s just an appearance or not, Patel said no stone would be left unturned in the investigation.  “Discord chat, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, how the weapon was transported, hand gestures as potential ‘signals’ near Charlie at the time of his assassination, and visitors to the shooter’s resident in the hours and days leading up to Sept. 10, 2025,” Patel said is all part of the ongoing FBI investigation.  Patel said messaging on the platform Discord by Robinson two hours before he was taken into custody to a small group of friends said, “Hey guys, I have bad news for you all . . . It was me at UVU yesterday.  I’m sorry for all of this,” said Robinson, essentially admitting to the killing.  Patel said there are many unanswered questions.

Patel was accused by Democrats in the Senate Judiciary Committee of incompetence, with Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) telling Patel this was the last time he’d testify before he gets fired.  Booker talks through his hat, knowing that Trump is entirely happy with Patel’s job performance. Patel wants the public to know that everything related to Kirk’s assassination is being looked into.  “Anyone and everyone involved in that Discord chat,” Patel said would be questioned. “Patel said “a lot more” than 20 people were part of the chat “and we’re running them all down . . Every single one,” Patel said.  Democrats can take all their shots at Patel or everyone else in the Trump Cabinet but he seems to be doing his job with great conscientiousness.  Whether any of the leads turn up anything or suggest a wider conspiracy is anyone’s guess.

Patel has become a lightening rod for Democrats and the press, wishing they still had former FBI Director Christopher Wray to go after Trump and his White House.   No one on the left, including in broadcast and print outlets, admit that Trump was unfairly targeted by the government for years with allegations of Russian collusion.  Even when former FBI Director Robert Mueller cleared Trump of any wrongdoing March 23, 2029, Democrats and the fake news persisted with Russian collusion rumors.  Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) was one of the worst offenders in Congress, insisting he had proof that Trump colluded with the Kremlin to win the 2016 presidential election.  But when push-came-to-shove, Schiff produced nothing of substance, instead moving on to Trump’s role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.  Schiff insists that Trump planned and organized the Jan. 6 riots.

So, with Patel at the helm of the FBI, Trump knows he has a director that will not fabricate charges against him, whether about Russia, Jan. 6 or anything else.  How Booker could say with the straight face that Patel would be fired by Trump is anyone’s guess.  But Patel is doing everything to get to bottom of what happened on Sept. 10.  “There are a number of individuals that are currently being investigated and interrogated, and a number yet to be investigated and interrogated, specific to that chat room.  So we are very much in or ongoing posture of investigation,” Patel said.  What more criticism can Democrats and the fake news level at Patel, all because won’t go after President Donald Trump on fake charges?  Patel has been wading into his job learning as he goes. He’s no shrinking violet the way he went after Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) in his Senate hearing.

Democrats and the Fake news should give have their repetitive narrative about Trump destroying American democracy, pulling the country into dictatorship under Trump.  If they get into power in 2026, Trump will spend his last two years defending lawsuits and impeachment hearings.  “The entire FBI mourns the loss of Charlie Kirk.  We will not rest until justice is served, and our investigation into this assassination will continue until every question is answered,” Patel said, show his determination to get things right.  Whether there was a wide conspiracy or not, it’s inexplicable how Robinson got his rifle on the roof without some help.  It’s inconceivable he could have assembled a rifle with a screwdriver found at at the crime scene.  So, when it comes to possible conspiracies, there’s plenty of unanswered questions for Patel and his team of investigators.
