LOS ANGELES.–Former National Security Advisor to President Barack Obama Ben Rhodes said that 79-year-old President Donald Trump is not considering all the consequences to ceding land to 72-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin.  Appearing on anti-Trump CNBC iwht “Chris Jansing” Rhodes was anything but complementary having served in 2014 when Putin annexed the Crimean peninsula.  Obama and then Vice President Joe Biden did little other that slowly start arming Ukraine to one day fight to get its land back.  “Part of what the Ukrainians don’t have is a kind of sense of hoep, a sense that they have enduring support for the United States, that they have a plan from their allies to support them in the long run,” Rhodes said, knowing that it would mean perpetual war. Rhodes backed 100% former President Joe Biden’s proxy war policy against the Kremlin.

Rhodes doesn’t think Ukraine has long-term commitments from the U.S. or EU for what?  Does Rhodes think that funding perpetual war with the Kremlin is good for U.S. foreign policy and national security.  Rhodes knows full well that Biden was the first-and-only U.S. president to go to war against the Kremlin, ending generations of diplomacy, détente, arms control and global cooperation.  Biden turned Russia from cooperating partner to mortal enemy all to support Ukraine border dispute with Russia. “And look, the reality is:  I would acknowledge that it is incredibly unlikely that Ukraine would recover certainly all territory that Russia occupies—certainly Crimea, for instance,” Rhodes said.  Rhodes thinks that Trump is shortsighted because he won’t continue the Biden policy.  Rhodes disagreed with Trump “land swap” ideas, of trading land-for peace in Ukraine.

Rhodes had no idea what Trump should do other than keep supporting proxy war with the Kremlin in Ukraine.  Trump points out that Zelensky and Biden badly miscalculated going to war with the Kremlin, thinking they could vanquish the Russian army.  Biden and Zelensky were convinced by their won twisted propaganda that the Russian army was near collapse at the time of the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion.  Biden and his former Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin actually said publicly that the aim of the U.S. mission in Ukraine was to degrade the Russian army to the point it could no longer wage war.  Well, if that’s not a declaration for war on the Kremlin, then what is?  Zelensky keeps chirping before Trump’s Aug. 15 summit with Putin, opposing the idea to swapping land for peace.  Zelenksy says it’s against the Ukrainian constitution to cede land to any foreign power.

Zelensky and his predecessor Petro Poroshenko allowed Putin to seize Crimea after a Feb. 22, 2014 CIA-backed, pro-Western coup threatened Putin’s Black Sea naval base.  For years afterward, Obama and Biden continued to arm Ukraine until they left office with Trump following up with more arms.  Trump never imagined under his watch [2017-2021] that Biden would be foolish enough to get the U.S. into a war with the Russian Federation.  Yet that’s exactly what he did with Rhodes and other Obama and Biden national security staff supporting the policy.  “What happens to the Ukrainian children that have been taken into Russia, essentially kidnapped?  What happens to the Ukrainians are living the other side of that front line?  Doe they choose whether they want to live in Ukraine,” Rhode asked.  So, Rhodes wout continue the failed Biden policy.

When it comes to Ukrainian children taken from the war zone for their own protection, a peace treaty would be the best way to repatriate them back to Ukraine. Does Rhodes think that a commitment from the U.S. and EU for perpetual war helps the plight of any displaced children? Zelensky has many excuses to avoid a ceasefire and peace treaty with Russia.  Zelensky’s “what ifs” are endless, talking about Russia eventually seizing more Ukrainian territory in the future.  Well, if there’s a ceasefire and peace treaty, Russia would be obligated to follow the terms of the agreement just like Ukraine.  No amount of U.N or EU peacekeepers would stop Ukraine or Russia from reengaging in the future.  Rhodes thinks Trump is the one not considering what he thinks are important issues.  But Trump thinks restoring normal diplomatic relations with Russia is essential to U.S. foreign policy and national security.

Speaking to anti-Trump MSNBC, Rhodes shows he’s just another Democrat political hack disguising himself a real foreign policy or national security scholar.  “Really importantly, what happens to the future of Ukraine if they are going to lose territory as a part of some kind of quote, unquote deal here?  Doe they get security guarantees?  Can they joint NATO?  Can they join the European Union?  If they can’t joint NATO itself,” Rhodes asked.  Rhodes knows that NATO membership under Trump is off the table for Ukraine.  Rhodes knows it’s a red line in any peace negotiation for Putin.  Why would Rhodes bring up something so unrealistic?  Rhodes brings it up because he’s out to slam Trump, not talk reality.  MSNB is not a real news network but a propaganda wing of the Democrat Party.  Rhodes disparages Trump saying he’s only interest in real estate issues.
