LOS ANGELES.–Former FBI Director James Comey, 64, fired by 78-year-old-President Donald Trump May 9, 2017, delivered a cryptic message on his Instagram account, posting a picture of seashells making the number 8647, suggesting a threat to the president.  While certainly encrypted, the number 86 means “to cancel or get rid of,” and the number 47 refers to the 47th president of the United States.  All in all, Comey’s encrypted message was designed for the anti-Trump mob looking to take Trump out, just like last summer when misanthrope Thomas Matthew Crooks took several shots at July 13, 2014 Trump at a Butler, Penn. rally, killing two and injuring Trump and two others seriously.  Comey as former FBI Director knows the hateful atmosphere with Trump enduring at least two assassination attempts, one active shooter and one with that in mind.  Comey quickly deleted his Instagram post.

Since fired by Trump May 9, 2017 for leaking to the press, but, more importantly, conducting a fake counterintelligence investigation of Trump in 2016 saying he had inappropriate ties to the Kremlin, Comey has become Trump enemy, occasionally appearing in leftist media to denounce Trump as a lawbreaker.  “Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey just called for the assassination of [President] Trump.  DHS and Secret service [are] investigating this threat and will respond appropriately,” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noam wrote on X.  Comey’s immediate removal of the post shows that he’d been exposed for something egregious, something illegal, making encrypted threats toward a sitting president.  FBI Director Kash Patel won’t sweep under the carpet the veiled threat on Trump’s life made by the former FBI Director.

When it comes to Comey, it was a matter of time before he got himself in hot water, unable to contain his hatred toward Trump.  Trump acted decisively May 9, 2017 firing Comey for insubordination, conducting a counterintelligence investigation of Trump without probable cause. Comey used former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s paid opposition research AKA The Steele Dossier, to accused Trump of colluding with the Kremlin to win the 2016 presidential election.  While Comey will certainly deny that he intended by cryptic message as a call for an assassination attempt, he deleted the Instagram post once the backlash hit.  Comey presided over the FBI during the 2016 presidential campaign, apparently giving his senior agents, like Peter Strzok and his FBI attorney girlfriend Lisa Page, latitude to undermine Trump’s 2016 run for president.

Comey’s Instagram message of 8647 raised eyebrows in some circles knowing it could be perceived as a call for Trump’s assassination. “We are aware of the recent social media post by former FBI Director James Comey, directed at President Trump.   We are in communication with the Secret Service and Director Curran.  Primary jurisdiction is with SS on these matters and we, the FBI, will provide all necessary support,” said FBI Director Kash Patel.  Comey spent years investigating Trump, especially after former Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein appointed former FBI Director Robert Mueller as Special Counsel.  Mueller spent 22 months and $40 million investigating Trump ties to Russia.  When the dust settled Mueller acquitted Trump of any wrong doing March 23, 2019.  Yet Democrats and the corrupt press continued to say Trump had inappropriate ties to the Kremlin.

Comey was never prosecuted for all his malicious investigation of Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign.  Comey once said he was dumbfounded when asked whether or not he was authorized to investigate Trump.  In Comey’s mind he had the probable cause needed to go after Trump.  Comey’s cryptic seashell message 8647 give a free X-Ray into Comey’s mentality about Trump, out to get him since he was fired May 9, 2017.  Comey needs to explain to SS investigators why he deleted his Instagram post May 15.  What did the post mean and why did he post it on Instagram?  “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence,” Comey said.  “I never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down,” Comey said acting clueless.  Comey’s explanation lacks plausible deniability, knowing the former FBI Director knows what 8647 means.

Comey has been out to get Trump for years since he was fired back in 2017.  Comey acted the same way when asked whether he abused his position as FBI Director opening up a counterintelligence investigation of Trump without real probable cause.  Comey said the thought never occurred to him that he was not authorized to investigate Trump.  Comey’s explanation now that he didn’t know what 8647 mean is the same malarkey because he posted the number because he knew exactly what it meant. Now it’s up to the SS and FBI to figure out whether or not Comey is lying about why he took down the Instagram post the day he made it. Pretending he doesn’t know what it means is exactly why Comey deserves to be investigated for making a veiled threat against the President. Whether or not Department of Justice Director Pam Bondi wants to file charges against Comey is another matter.
