White House National Security Advser Jake Sullivan, 47, continues to blow smoke on the Ukraine to the bitter end, threatening to go back to Congress to get more than the $6 billion left in approved Ukraine funding. With President-elect Donald Trump’s stunning landslide victory over Vice President Kamala Harris Nov. 5, Sullivan watched his reckless, destructive and costly proxy war with the Kremlin all but implode. President Joe Biden, 81, has lost his proxy war with the Kremlin long ago, something the Sullivan and 62-year-old National Security Adviser Antony Blinker refuse to admit. Biden pretends that things haven’t changed since the Democrat Party pushed him out of the 2024 race, leaving a White House adrift, especially on the warmongering plans in Ukraine and Asia. Biden all but wrecked U.S.-Russia and U.S.-Chinese relations and destabilized the Europe and the Mideast.

Sullivan likes to speak to the fake news, pretending the White House is still in charge of the Ukraine and Asia warmongering agenda. “Our approach remains the same as it’s been for the last two-and-a-half years, which is to put Ukraine in the strongest possible position at the negotiating table,” Sullivan told CBS “Face the Nation.” Imagine that, Sullivan knows that Trump will settle the Ukraine War in short-order, so the White House response to the fake news is to continue its failed strategy. Biden’s strategy of feeding Ukraine endless cash-and-weapons has long failed, with Ukraine losing more territory by the day. Sullivan makes things worse for Ukraine in any future negotiation because Ukraine’s 46-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky has long lost the war. Sullivan repeats the same worn-out talking points about giving Ukraine a better bargaining position.

How does Ukraine have more leverage with Russia, the more destruction it wreaks on the Russian Federation? Sullivan has been spewing a failed strategy from Day One, pretending that the U.S. would help Ukraine vanquish a beleaguered Russian military. Biden and his Defense 71-year-old Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the purpose of the war was to degrade the Russian military. How’s that worked for Biden? Sullivan and Blinken once talked about Putin’s imaginary “terminal illness” or the Russian’s army’s imminent collapse, all poppycock to justify going to war with the Kremlin. Zelensky has done nothing in three years of war other than destroy Ukraine infrastructure, lose sovereign land, kill thousands of civilians and soldiers, drive millions into exile for nothing.

Biden, Blinken and Sullivan gaslighted Congress to believe their rubbish that the Ukraine War saves Europe from an eventual Putin takeover of more European countries. Putin has told journalists, like former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson, that he wants the U.S to stop supplying Ukraine lethal weapons. Putin offered to settle the conflict in March 2022 shortly after it began Feb. 24, 2022. But Zelensky and the U.S. opted for war over peace negotiations which, at the time, would have resulted in Zelensky accepting Russian sovereignty over Crimea and independence from Kiev of Donetsk and Luhansk. Now Ukraine has lost much more territory and any settlement would be far worse for Zelensky, continuing the same failed White House proxy war strategy. War has only made things worse for the U.S. and Ukraine, both a total embarrassment.

When Biden meets with Trump Wednesday, Nov. 13, they’ll no doubt discuss the Ukraine War. Biden should stop his posturing and accept that Trump intends to end the war no matter how much cash Biden intends to give Ukraine. Biden should let Trump handle the negotiations from here, admitting that his policy has failed, leaving the U.S. with the worst diplomatic rations with Russia since the WW II. Sullivan has been a functionary implementing a failed strategy that now changes with Trump in the White House. But instead of prolonging Ukraine’s agony, Biden should let Trump handle the Ukraine War from here out. Sullivan’s statement about Ukraine gaining more leverage in peace talks by continuing to fight is preposterous. It’s exactly the opposite. Every day the war goes on Ukraine loses more sovereign land and is in a weakened position.

Sullivan repeats the same rubbish to the press, knowing that everything changed once Biden was knocked out of the 2024 race but certainly now that Trump won a mandate to implement his policies, including ending the Ukraine War. “President Bidenm will have the opportunity over the next 70 days to make the case to Congress and to the incoming administration that the United States should not walk away from Ukraine, that walking away from Ukraine means more instability in Europe,” Sullivan told CBS, more gaslighting with White House failed talking points. President Biden was removed from the 2024 race because of his cognitive impairments. Sullivan harms U.S. policy pretending he’s still playing commander-in-chief, when the Ukraine war has failed.
