LOS ANGELES.–Russia’s 62-year-old Amb. Vassily Nebenzia questioned why it’s OK for the West to back Ukraine in its war with the Kremlin but it’s not OK for North Korea, a Russian ally, to back Russia? Nebenzia raised the basic hypocrisy of the Ukraine War that the U.S. and NATO supply all the cash-and-arms to Ukraine, while, the U.S. and NATO accuse Russia for using North Korean artillery shells and troops to defend Russia. President Joe Biden, 81, and 60-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris opted unilaterally to join Ukraine’s War with the Kremlin, something 46-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr decided to do after the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion. Russian President Vladimir Putin, 72, offered to end the conflict early on if Zelensky recognized the independence of Donetsk and Lunhansk and Russia sovereignty over Crimea. Zelensky rejected Putin’s offer and went to war.
Nebenzia wants the world to know the West’s supreme hypocrisy expecting the U.S. and NATO to back Ukraine, while expecting Russian allies to look the other way. North Korean President Kim Jong-un, 40, let the U.N. Security Council know that it rejected all of its economic sanctions based on its feverish pursuit of nuclear weapons. Kim says Pyongyang will support a key ally in Russia anyway it sees fit, including supplying weapons and troops to Russia. “Supporting an act of aggression, which completely violates the principles of the U.N. Charter, is illegal,” South Korea’s U.N. Amb. Joon kook-hwang said. “Any activities that are entailed in DPRK’s dispatch of troops to Russia are a clear violation of multiple U.N. Security Council Resolutions,” said kook-hwang. Kook-hwang knows that Russia and North Korean are close allies in any global conflict.
Biden has refused to send troops to the Ukraine theater, not wanting to put U.S. soldiers in harm’s war, knowing that ongoing casualties would no doubt lead to political criticism. Vice President Kamala Harris, now in the run of her life against Trump for president, said emphatically that she backs Ukraine’s war against the Russian Federation until the Kremlin removes all of its forces from Ukraine. Putin had Russian forces in Ukraine before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion in Donetsk and Lunhansk and Crimea and would no doubt retain troop in Ukraine after the conflict ends. Conflict in Ukraine started during the Obama administration [with Biden Vice President] in Feb. 22, 2014 when a CIA-backed pro-Western coupt [Maiden Revolution] toppled the Kremlin-backed Kiev government of Viktor Yanykovych. Once Yanukovyh was driven from Kiev, Putn annexed Crimea March 1, 2014.
War broke out in Donetsk and Luhansk, with Kiev’s troops battling Russian separatists in the Donbas region, apparently aiding Russian-speaking comrades in resist control by the pro-Western Kiev governments. Ukraine estimates that from 2014 to Feb. 24, 2022, some 14,000 civilians and troops lost their lives battling Russian troops in Donbas. Zelensky opted for war with the Kremlin Feb. 24, 2022 rather that negotiate and compromise on its land with the Kremlin. Zelensky said no to Putin on any compromise, saying the Ukraine would never surrender sovereign territory to Ukraine. Zelensky knew that Russia occupied Ukriane Feb. 24, 2024 and they have no plan of leaving Ukraine anytime soon. Biden and Harris have been promising to oust all Russia troops from Ukraine, something that hasn’t happed in nearly three years of War with the Kremlin.
Kim Jong-un sent 10,000 DPRK troops to Russia, potentially helping expel Ukraine from Russia’s Kursk border region where Ukrainian troops seized territory Aug. 7. Putin has been unable or unwilling to commit enough military assets to get rid of Ukraine troops now occupying Russia land in the Kursk border region. “Even if everything that being said about the cooperation between Russia and North Korea by our Western colleagues is true, why is that the United Stats and allies trying to impose on everyone’s flawed logic that they have the right to help the Zelensky regime . . . . and Russian allies have no right to do a similar thing,”Nebenzia asked. Biden has been reluctant to commit U.S. troops to the meat grinder in Ukraine knowing body bags sent back to Dover Air Force Base would kill any chances of reelection, whether he or Kamala ran on the Democrat ticket.
U.S. Amb. Robert Wood warned DPRK that its Troops would end up the same way as Russian troops in Ukraine with mass casualties. “Should DPRK’s troops enter Ukraine in support of Russia, the w ill sure return in body bags. So I would advise Chairman Kim to think twice about engaging in such reckless and dangerous behavior,” said Wood. Wood’s remarks only make a bad situation worse, with Kim surely knows the consequences of sending DRPK troops to Russia. Despite numerous requests by Zelensky for U.S. and NATO troops, Biden has been reluctant fearing the war could morph into WW III. JP Morgan [the U.S. largest bank] 68-year-old CEO Jamie Dimon warned voters that Ukraine could morph into WW III and nuclear war. Without endorsing Trump directly, Dimon warns voters on Kamala’s policy of continuing the Ukraine War leading to WW III and nuclear war.
