LOS ANGELES.–All the fake news, all the broadcast and print outlets that back 59-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris 2024 campaign, are writing about how Trump complains about unfair treatment. Devoting all its airtime or print-time denouncing Trump, the fake news can’t get out of its own way, now accusing Trump of gaming the system in advance of the Sept. 10 ABC News debate at Constitutional Hall in Philadelphia. Why the fake news feels compelled to say that Trump uses his complaints against the press to gain an unfair advantage against Kamala is preposterous. How many stories over the last eight years did the fake news write about Trump’s ties to the Kremlin? Whatever was written or reported about Trump’s fabricated ties to the Kremlin was never retracted by the fake new, despite proven false by the 22-month-long Mueller investigation March 23, 2019. Yet despite former Special Counsel Robert Mueller finding there were no ties with Trump to the Kremlin, that didn’t stop them.
Yet now that Trump faces another Trump-bashing network, ABC News, hosting a presidential debate, the fake news feels compelled to continue the cover-up of egregious anti-Trump media bias. Trump complained about the ABC News debate that all of its hosts and editorial staff support the Harris campaign. Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather resigned in disgrace for publishing a fake copy during the 2004 campaign between former President George W. Bush and former Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), publishing a forged discharge document for Bush in the Texas National Guard. Rather published the obvious forgery, showing undeniable bias against Bush in the CBS News room. Yet today’s anti-Trump bias is so much more ubiquitous with major broadcast and print outlets no longer hiding their anti-Trump bias. Trump has every right to question whether ABC News will play it fairly at the Sept. 10 presidential debate in Philadelphia.
Trump expressed concerns that ABC News, like CNN did when Trump debated former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016, gave Kamala questions in advance. Former DNC Chairwoman and CNN analyst Donna Brazile gave Hillary the questions in advance. Why wouldn’t Trump have concerns about how an openly anti-Trump broadcast network would do anything possible to sabotage Trump’s debate performance? “Do you think ABC will give Kamala every question beforehand? We already know her liberal media cronies would do ANYTHING to keep her from getting embarrassed the same way Biden was,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform. “I’m coming into this at a distinct disadvantage—taking on Crooked Kamala AND the Fake News—but with you in my ear. I’m NOT SCARED OF ANYTHING!” Trump said. Yet the fake news, like Politico, feels inclined to blame all the obvious anti-media bias on Trump.
There’s no shame in the fake news anymore about expressing extreme media bias against the Trump campaign. It’s considered par-for-th-course, the norm in today’s Democrat-controlled broadcast and print media. “ABC News is the worst network in terms of fairness,” Trump told Fox News host Sean Hannity. “They’re nasty and I think a lot of people are going to be watching to see how nasty and unfair they are,” Trump said, expressing reservations about going into the debate. “This is an expectations game,” said former Trump Press Secretary Sean Spicer. “And it’s not just about your opponents. He has Kamala Harris, and then he has the network and hosts themselves,” Spicer said, showing the extent of the trap set by the press against Trump. Kamala can say and do anything, with media fact-checkers working day-and-night to call Trump a liar on everything he says. But when Kamala talks about ending income tax on tips, the media says nothing about Kamala copying Trump’s campaign ideas.
When Biden finished his disastrous Sept. 27 CNN debate, fake news still presented it as big win for Biden, despite the obvious disaster. It took weeks for the fake news to admit Trump won the debate and almost a month before Biden was pushed out the race by Democrat Party bosses former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). Fake news quoted hacks like Dr. Anthony Fauci making every excuse for Biden’s obvious cognitive impairments. Even to this day, Kamala defends Biden’s competency to finish his job as president, saying he possess all the right stuff to serve as president. Kamala said after the debate she could vouch for Biden’s mental competency, finding nothing wrong with his judgment and decision making. Kamala walks into the Sept. 10 debate without identifying any of her campaign positions on the economy or foreign policy, something that she’ll be forced to answer in the debate.
Trump has every right to question the fairness of debating on anti-Trump biased ABC News, with moderator David Muir letting his anti-Trump positions known to all. Trump knows that the Sept. 27 CNN debate turned out to his advantage. He can let ABC News do the same thing in trying to get any real answers from Kamala on how she intends to deal with the economy, foreign policy and the border. ABC News will ask plenty of questions about civil rights, Jan. 6 Capitol riots, gender rights and women’s reproductive rights. Kamala has spent weeks preparing for the debate with mock debates but ultimately face the reality of answering real questions important to voters. “Are you with ABC, because I think they’re a fake news network, a terrible network. I think it’s disgraceful that I came here in good spirit,” Trump said in Chicago at Black Journalists convention. Black journalist Rachel Scott asked Trump why Blacks should trust him.
