LOS ANGELES.–Calling current GOP House Conference Chair a “total crackpot,” former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wy.), who destroyed her career going after former President Donald Trump, now takes her ire out on 39-year-old Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.). Cheney was booted out of her GOP leadership position May 12, 2021, then lost her reelection bid Aug. 16, 2022 to Harriet Haggeman by the biggest landslide in her district’s history. Since then, Cheney has been on a rampage against Trump and anyone, like Stefanik, who backs Trump. Cheney’s recent claim-to-fame was her colossal disloyalty serving as co-chair of the Jan. 6 House Select Committee that accused Trump of organizing-and-planning the Jan. 6 insurrection as Democrats call it. After year-and-a-half, the Committee disbanded Dec, 18, 2022, with Cheney, without evidence, saying that Trump planned-and-orchestrated the insurrection/
No Republican in recent history has betrayed her Party more than Liz Cheney, a disgrace to conservatives, all because of her personal vendetta against Trump. Now she calls Stefanik a “total crackpot,” when the whole world watched Stefanik dismantle three Ivy League presidents for failing to deal with anti-Semitism at Penn, Harvard and MIT. Stefanik’s searing cross-examination exposed for all to see how all three university presidents were unfit for duty, making feeble excuses why their codes of conduct didn’t apply to Jewish students, while pro-Palestinian demonstrations made death threats against Jewish students. All watching the Congressional hearings about college anti-Semitism saw Stefanik in action, anything but Cheney’s disparaging remarks. “One day she will have to explain how and why she morphed into a total crackpot,” Cheney said.
Cheney can’t control her jealousy and envy of Stefank, a rising star in the GOP, while Cheney self-destructed all because she couldn’t contain her ire toward Trump. Now Cheney has no job but certainly, could disgrace her family even more, changing parties, becoming a Democrat, while her father, former President Dick Cheney, is still alive. Because Stefanik supports Trump, she’s branded as a “Maga” Republican, a pejorative for Democrats signaling she’s a disciple of Trump. Cheney once had a bright future until she couldn’t control her rage against Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection. Democrats and never-Trump Republicans blamed Trump for the riots because he did nothing for a four hour period on Jan. 6, 2021 to stop the riots. But how could Trump stop the riots when he had nothing do with them? FBI officials confirmed that the riots were planned by right wing groups for months.
Once Cheney blamed Trump for the Jan. 6 riots, he turned his support to GOP challenge in Wyoming to Harriet Haggeman. No one held a gun to Cheney’s head when she blamed Trump for the Jan. 6 riots, then joined the Jan. 6 House Select Committee. Cheney insisted Trump planned-and-orchestrated the Jan. 6 insurrection, transmitting her findings to Special Counsel Jack Smith who charged Trump with 27 felonies connected with Jan. 6, 2022. Cheney was delighted pointing out at a recent campaign stop that Trump conflated former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) with former U.N. Amb. Nikki Pelosi, making the Democrat argument that Trump has cognitive problems. Trump made a simple mistake at a campaign speech, mixing up the two names. Cheney’s a big backer of 81-year-old President Joe Biden, supporting his 2024 campaign and reelection.
What kind of Republican backs Biden’s madness going to war against the Russian Federation to support Ukraine? Ukraine has no national security significance to the United States but Biden went ahead funding a proxy war against the Kremlin. Biden has has no choice now during an Election Year to stick with his failed proxy war. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said there can be no more cooperation with the United States until the Ukraine War ends. Kremlin officials see Biden’s proxy war as one between the U.S. and the Kremlin, not between Ukraine and Moscow. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, 61, asked Lavrov to resume arms control talks. Biden has burnt all the bridges for cooperative relations with the Russian Federation. Cheney, like other GOP Neocons including her father, support Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin
Stefanik pointed out that the U.S. public has no explanation for why the Capitol was not properly defended on Jan. 6 when the FBI had credible threats of possible crimes. “The reality is Nikki Haley is relying on Democrats, just like Nancy Pelosi, to try to have a desperate showing,” Stefanik said, about Haley’s performance in New Hampshire. Stefanik didn’t mince words after Jan. 6. “I fully condemn the dangerous violence and destruction that occurred today at the United States Capitol,” Stefanik said Jan. 6, 2021. Stefanik condemned the mayhem like everyone else, she just didn’t rush to judgment, deny Trump the presumption of innocence like Cheney. Cheney blamed Trump, without proof, for orchestrating the Jan. 6 insurrection. Stefanik, just like she did with University president, called for Jan. 6 rioters to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
