LOS ANGELES.–Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky ripped former President Donald Trump and likely 2024 GOP nominee as “very dangerous” for saying he would end the Ukraine War in 24 hours. Trump is the only candidate daring to say he would end President Joe Biden’s failed Ukraine proxy war, spending already $200 billion funding a war and bankrupt Kiev government to somehow defeat the Russia Federation, or, more euphemistically, degrade the Russian military. Whatever Biden’s mission in Ukraine, he certainly has no plan to defeat the Kremlin, only wasting more U.S. taxpayers money. Biden got sucked into funding a proxy war against the Russian Federation at the behest of Zelensky, thinking he could avenge losses to Russian President Vladimir Putin in Syria. Former President Barack Obama, 62, and Biden lost to Putin in Syria.
Obama’s proxy war in Syria to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad backfired, after killing 500,000 and displacing 15 million to Europe and neighboring countries. But when Putin decided to defend al-Assad in 2015, there was the end of Obama and Biden’s proxy war. Al-Assad survived the multibillion dollar proxy war against his Damascus government, humiliating the U.S. and its allies trying to topple al-Assad. Now Biden tries agains to get back at Putin, but, instead of succeeding in Ukraine, he’s depleting the U.S. Treasury in a losing cause. Biden runs for reelection on a promise to keep battling the Kremlin when there are so many hot spots around the globe requiring cooperation, not war. Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin ended decades of U.S.-Russian diplomacy after WW II, realizing that saving the world from a nuclear Holocaust was a top priority.
Biden tossed détente and arms control to the wind, leaving Russia a mortal enemy of the United States. So, when Zelensky slams Trump for saying he would end the Ukraine War, he’s only thinking selfishly about the billions in aid he gets from Biden to run the war, but, more importantly, pay for his bankrupt Kiev government. “Donald Trump, I invited you to Ukraine to Kiev. If you can stop the war during 24 hours, I think it will be enough come,” Zelensky told British Channel 4. Zelensky said Trump’s attempt to stop the war was “very dangerous,” when, in fact, it’s in everyone’s interest to stop the war, certainly peace on the European Continent. Zelensky has tried to sell the EU on the idea that with U.S. and NATO weapons, he actually defends European democracy. But Zelensky uses the cash and weapons to rid Russia from occupying Ukraine.
Zelensky’s objection to ending the Ukraine War stems from the fact that his Kiev government is bankrupt because of the war. As long a Zelensky fights the Kremlin, Ukraine has no sustaining economy, depending heavily on government largess from the U.S. and Europe. Biden once believed that he could start a grand coalition against Putin, finding out that China and India, to name the world’s two most populous countries, disagree with Biden’s proxy war. In fact, Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin has driven Rusia into a close economic, military and strategic alliance with Communist China. Chinese President Xi Jimping thinks Biden started the Ukraine War by encroaching on Russia by arming Ukraine. Xi sees Biden doing the same thing in the Indo-Pacific region, trying to form an anti-Beijing coalition in Japan, the Philippines, Taiean, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.
For whatever reason, Biden captured the Russian hysteria on Capitol Hill, blaming Russia for meddling in U.S. elections, among other things. Bipartisan elected officials back the Ukraine War not thinking how it’s sabotaged U.S. foreign policy and national security. Wouldn’t Biden benefit from cooperative relations with the Kremlin when protecting international shipping in the Red Sea, Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman? Before Biden wrecked U.S.-Russian relations, the U.S. relied on cooperative relations with Russia to deal with hot spots around the globe. If Putin got involved with Tehran, he would convince Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to stop funding proxy war in the Middle East and Horn of Africa, but, more importantly, stop attacking oil tankers and freighters in the Red Sea. Supply chain shortages have already delayed production at companies like Tesla Motors.
Zelensky doesn’t want to hear about Trump ending the Ukraine war in 24 hours. Zelensky’s decision to go to war against the Kremlin was catastrophic for Ukraine, killing thousands of citizens, destroying Ukraine’s infrastructure, but, more importantly, bankrupting the country. Zelensky gaslighted a feeble Biden into funding his proxy war, all because Biden had a vendetta with Putin. But like in Obama’s Syria proxy war, Biden has lost the war with Putin again, all because of hubris. What nerve of Zelensky to slam Trump for wanting to improve U.S. foreign policy and national security. If Zelensky could, he would drag the U.S. and NATO into a war with Russia, not to help world peace but to promote perpetual war on the European Continent. Trump is the only candidate with any common sense, recognizing that Zelensky is the supreme con man.
