LOS ANGELES.–Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to blow smoke with 81-year-old President Joe Biden, boasting about the vaunted counteroffensive that’s gotten the Ukraine army nowhere after six months. Back in November, Zelensky hailed a new advance on the east side of the Dniper River, claiming Ukrainian forces made a beachhead in Russian territory. No one in the fake news likes to report the truth about Ukraine’s 22-month war with the Kremlin, making outrageous claims of driving Russia troops out of Ukraine’ sovereign territory. Zelensky insists that nearly $200 billion in U.S. aid has been well spent because without the Ukraine War, according to Zelensky and Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin would march his way to NATO’s Eastern flank, including the Baltic States and Poland. Zelensky has zero facts to make his claims against Putin.

Putin invaded Ukraine Feb. 24, 2022 because Biden refused to work him Putin on new security arrangements, instead arming Ukraine to the teeth. Putin asked Biden four months before the invasion to make new security arrangements that satisfy U.S. and Russian requirements. Zelensky had pressed NATO’s Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg for fast-track NATO membership for two years leading up to the invasion. Stoltenberg rejected Zelensky’s plea for NATO membership, largely because he’d have to trigger Article 5, where NATO would be forced to come to Ukraine’s defense. Zelensky asked NATO and the U.S. early on in the conflict for a “no-fly-zone,” hoping the U.S. and NATO would commit troops. When that didn’t happen, Zelensky settled on cash-and-weapons from the U.S. and NATO to beat back the Russian invasion.

In March 2020, only a month after the conflict, Putin offered Zelensky an opportunity to end the conflict. Putin asked Zelensky to accept Russian sovereignty over Crime and independence of Donetsk and Luhansk, major cities in the industrial Donbas region. Zelensky, in consultation with Biden, opted for war with the Kremlin. Zelensky’s decision to go war against the Kremlin, rather than negotiate a settlement, cost Ukraine 25% of its sovereign territory in the first year of conflict. Zelensky and Biden have only highlighted Russian losses, insisting the Russian military was near collapse. In reality, Ukraine was losing strategic sovereign territory, land-locking Kiev from its strategic coast. Yet Zelensky continued to press ahead with the war, acting like he was making progress. Ukrainian soldiers fighting on the front lines knew differently.

Zelensky and his national security team led by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Defense Intelligence Chief Kyrylo Buadanv have fabricated for U.S. consumption Ukraine’s gains in the conflict. “There are no positions. There is no such thing as an observation post or position,” Ukrainian soldier Oleksiy. “It is impossible to gain a foothold here “It’s impossible to more the equipment here,” Oleksiy told the New York Times that Zelensky’s description doesn’t match reality. “It’s not even a fight for survival,” Oleksiy said. “It’s a suicide mission.” Biden and Zelensky have been blowing smoke for nearly two years, knowing that Ukraine sustained massive losses during 22 months of fighting. Oleksiy told the real story, not the Biden and Zelensky’s fantasy, designed only for one thing to convince U.S lawmakers to continue funding a losing proposition in Ukraine.

How can U.S. lawmakers continue to support Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin when they know the real story of Ukraine losses? “I did not see anything like this in Bakhmut or Solidar,” Oleksiy said. Zelensky and Biden have deliberately obscured the extent of Ukraine’s casualties, sacrificing troops to keep U.S. and NATO funding flowing into Ukraine. Zelensky and Biden have gaslighted Congress and the EU for the last two years, talking only about Russian casualties and wild conjecture about Putin’s physical health, all stemming from Ukraine’s chief propagandist Kyrlyo Budanov. When it comes to Ukraine’s War with the Kremlin, no one pushed more disinformation and propaganda than Budanov. Biden has his reelection effort contingent on maintaining the illusion that Ukraine will drive Russian troops out of Ukraine. Oleksiy gives the unvarnished truth, much like Ukraine’s top Gen. Valery Zulazhny who said that the war was a stalemate.

Biden and Zelensky have to stop gaslighting Congress and NATO, pretending the war has gone well over the last two years. All facts on the ground prove that Ukraine is getting nowhere in the war against the Kremlin. Maiden Revolution hero 52-year-old Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko said recently that Zelensky’s democracy has given way to a new authoritarianism, where Zelensky wants no part of new elections. Klitschko said Zelensky will have to answer for his failure eventually, prompting a rebuke by Zelensky’s wife, Olena. Biden and Zelensky don’t want the public to know the truth about Ukraine: That the war cannot be won on the battlefield. Biden was told by his former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of State Gen. Mark Miley that there is no military solution in Ukraine. Putin has a stranglehold on Ukrainian territory, requiring Biden and Zelensky to seek peace talks.
