Former President Donald Trump, 77, certainly lives on-the-edge with Fulton County DA Fani Willis indicting him on racketeering charges under the state’s RICO laws based on the federal Racketeering Influenced Corruption Organization Act. RICO was designed to take on organized crime including modern day drug cartels engaged in human and drug trafficking, prostitution and influence peddling with police departments and government agencies. Imagine that, Willis sees he best way to convict Trump is to charge his campaign under RICO statutes, something so farfetched, so illogical, so much of a reach, it’s doubtful she could get a conviction except with the most cherry picked biased jury. Yet Willis, who expects Trump to surrender to sheriffs for booking at Fulton County Jail thinks she can pull it all off. Stretching the charges to fit RICO could be Willis’ undoing.
Trump says he has a report of Georgia election fraud that will exonerate him and 18 other defendants now faced with bookings at Fulton County jail. Willis’ has no facts in evidence to support her RICO case against Trump other than highly partisan and biased testimony from a variety of sources all looking to get off the hook by ratting out the 45th president. Willis alleges in her complaint against Trump and 18 other defendants were part of an organized conspiracy to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results. Trump’s attorneys and consultants simply wanted to investigate the possibility that the election was rigged by overly zealous Democrats looking to deny Trump a second term. Trump had reports of Georgia election officials tossing out legitimate ballots and adding ballots to Biden’s vote count with piles of fake ballots from thousands of universal mail-in ballots.
Looks like Trump will postpone revealing his report that disputes Willis’ charges, showing malfeasance on the part of Georgia election officials. Willis’ cites her No. 1 evidence as a phone call between Trump and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Jan. 2, 2020 in which Trump asked him to look for 11,780 votes, the exact number needed to win the Georgia election. Willis claims that Trump’s phone call with Raffensperger proves beyond-a-reasonable-doubt that Trump pressured him into fabricating votes to win the election. Trump said emphatically that he was just asking Raffensperger to see if Georgia election officials inadvertently lost any legitimate votes. Why would Trump put on record a call to coax the Secretary of State to do something illegal? Willis has blown a perfectly good phone call into a federal case, just like Democrats did with Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) did the same thing in Trump’s first impeachment case saying Trump tried to coerce Zelensky about the Biden’s before the 2020 presidential election. Trump simply asked Zelensky if he knew anything about Joe an Hunter’s activities in Ukraine. Years later the House Judiciary Committee and Oversight Committees want to know the same thing about Biden’s corruption in Ukraine when he served as Vice President under former President Barack Obama. Yet Pelosi and House Democrats turned the call into a federal case. Trump often got himself into hot water telling the truth. What happened when Trump said the deadly novel coronavirus that killed over 1.1 million Americans was made in a Wuhan, China lab with U.S. funding? Trump was charged with spreading unfounded conspiracy theories by Democrats and the press.
When it comes to four separate indictments totaling 91 felony charges, how many of the charges are legitimate or another government witch hunt? Trump’s 2016 campaign and four years in office were harassed with baseless accusations that colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. Even after Special Counsel Robert Mueller exonerated Trump after a nearly two-year, $40 million investigation, House Democrats insisted Trump was a Russian agent. All of that coordinated government fraud was swept under the rug by Democrats and the press. More recent findings about 53-year-old Hunter Biden indicates the U.S. press and social media suppressed real facts a bout his illegal and foreign business dealings involving his father, President Joe Biden. Democrats and the press called reports about Hunter Russian disinformation to discredit the shocking reports of illegal foreign transactions.
When you look at all 91 pending charges against Trump, they’re all fake, based on Democrats and press harassment over a seven-year period. What happened to all the fake charges by Democrats and the press a bout Trump’s ties to Moscow? Why were no elected officials or the press held accountable for framing the ex-president? Now the same dirty tricksters want you to believe Trump ran a mafia-like organization. Or, before he was president, had an affair with a porn star. Even Special Counsel Jack Smith wants the public to believe Trump defrauded the government by saying the 2020 election was rigged. If that was the best information given to Trump, what makes that defrauding the government? Smith thinks Trump defrauded the government by expressing his Free Speech opinion about the 2020 election. Why is it OK for Smith, Democrats and the press to state their opinions but not OK for Trump to do the same?
