Interviewed in friendly territory on CNN, 71-year-old Washington super-defense- attorney Abbe Lowell tells the real story behind the Hunter Biden scandal threatening to suck 8-year-old President Joe Biden into his overseas business dealings. If there were really no substance to GOP claims to collusion between Hunter and Joe in overseas business dealings, Washington’s most powerful lawyer would not be retained. Attorney to former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Robert Mendendez (D-N.J.), former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.), Jack Abramoff, Jared Kushner, etc., the Biden’s went all-in picking Lowell because of the stakes with Biden potentially embroiled in his son’s illegal overseas business activity, netting the Biden millions, as much as $30 million. Retaining Lowell is practically an admission of guilt, knowing that there’s no room for error, where the stakes are so high.
Appearing on Democrat-friendly CNN interviewed by newly minted 30-year-old host Kaitlin Collins, Lowell sidestepped questions about whether there’s any link between Hunder’s overseas business dealings and President Joe Biden. Biden has denied emphatically knowing anything about Hunter and his 74-year-old brother Jim’s foreign transactions, netting the family millions. “Can you say with certainty that based on what you know, there’s no possibility that any of Huntter Biden’s foreign business dealings will, in any way, connect back to his father, the president?” asked Collins. Lowell refused to answer the question because, as a good attorney, he must obfuscate to help his clients, in this case Hunter and Joe. Abbe wouldn’t say whether there’s any link between Hunters overseas business dealings and his father, Joe. Lowell knows one mistake would deflate Hunter’s defense case.
Loweel can’t answer directly whether Joe knew anything about Hunter’s overseas business dealings, knowing that Joe was presemt on the phone or in person at many of Hunter’s foreign transactions. “You’ve had dozens of members of Congress, and their staff, you’ve had dozens of members of right-wing media, picking and trying to find the connection between Hunter and his business, and other family members. And they have come up with nothing, because three’s nothing to come up with,” Lowell told Collins. As Lowell knows, Congress changed hands Jan. 1, 2023 with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) running the Judiciary and Oversight Committees. Jordan and Comer are hot on the trail of digging up dirt on Hunter and Joe Biden. In the 2020 election, Hunter’s laptop story was suppressed in the liberal press and social media, covering up Hunter’s overseas business dealings.
Abbe Lowell in the perfect person to represent Joe and Hunter, deliberately covering-up any link between Joe and his son’s overseas business dealings. Lowell certainly knows that Hunter already admitted on ABC News in 2020 that his father used his influence as Vice President under former President Barack Obama to get Hunter and his former business partners Devon Archer lucrative jobs on the board of Bursima Holdings, a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company. So when Lowell tries to dismiss any link between Biden and Hunter’s overseas business dealings, he knows he walking on thin ice. Lowell also knows that 67-year-old U.S. Atty. David Weiss was appointed Aug. 11 by Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland as Special Counsel in all matters related to Hunter Biden. Collins continued to prsss Lowell about Hunter’s link to Joe Biden. Collins wasn’t satisfied with Lowell’s answers.
Lowell walks a tightrope denying any link between his client, Hunter, and President Joe Biden. “But can you answer the question?” asked Collins. “From what you know, if you’re confident that this won’t in any way link back to the President,” acting naive. Collins can’t expect to get straight answer from Hunter’s defense attorney. Whatever Lowell knows, he certainly wouldn’t divulge confidential secrets on CNN. “They come up with the decision that they only two charges to file were tow misdemeanors and a gun diverted charge. Not any of the other things that MAGA right wing have been yelling, from money laundering, to foreign corruption, to foreign agent, no of that. It’s not as if that wasn’t looked into. And now, the conclusion was reached,” Lowell said. Lowell talked like Whit House Spokesman Ian Sams, calling the case against Hunter and Joe Biden a big flop.
What a set up on CNN letting Hunter’s high-priced defense attorney divert attention way from the facts related to Hunter Biden. White House talking points have the whole matter put to rest over the three years since the Hunter Biden laptop story broke. Lowell says the whole matter has been put to rest. But has it really? Biden campaign and White House officials said the Hunter laptop story was Russian disinformation. Turns out the story was factual, something suppressed by Biden’s 2020 campaign and Democrat-friendly press. Kaitlin practically stood on her head to give Lowell an out of answering any real questions about any link between Biden and Hunter. When Comer and Jordan find an indisputable link, look to Republicans to initiate and impeachment inquiry, then articles of impeachment. Picking Abee Lowell means the Biden’s know what’s at stake..
