Charged with divulging Top Secret files under the Espionage Act, 21-year-old Air Forcer Reserve Private First Class Jack Teixeira expressed reservations about the military in the Discord chat room largely because of the Ukraine War. Opposed to the Biden administration’s proxy war against the Russian Federation, Teizeira in his own immature way divulged government secrets to inform the public about discrepancies from the Pentagon about he Ukraine War. President Joe Biden, 80, said after the Feb. 24, 2022 Russian invasion that he would not put U.S. troops in Ukraine. Teixeira’s postings on Discord and on other Internet sites showed that the U.S. in fact put troop into Ukraine, maybe as advisers but nonetheless proving that the U.S. is actively involved in battling the Kremlin together with Ukraine. Teixeira also showed that Pentagon reports exaggerate the number of Russian casualties.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C..) slammed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) for supporting Teixeira’s unlawful disclosures, saying they endangered U.S. troops. “[Jaxk] Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more,” said Taylor Greene. “Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A youg low level guardsman? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against Russia without war powers,” said Taylor Greene. Graham said the Teixeira endangered U.S. troops all over the globe, disclosing Top Secret information to the enemy. “There are military members serving today from Georgia and other places who are less safe because of what this airman did,” Graham said. Graham didn’t respond in substance to Taylor Greene’s concerns.

Graham has no comment about Biden unilaterally wrecking decades of détente with Russia to fund a deadly proxy war against the Russian Federation. Whatever Ukraine’s beef with Russia, Biden decided to join the war against the Kremlin, ending for the foreseeable future diplomatic relations with Russia. Generations of U.S. presidents counted on pragmatic and cooperative relations with the Kremlin to deal with crisis spots around the planet, like North Korea and Iran. Without healthy diplomatic relations, Biden has no leverage in many hot spots around the globe benefiting by a working relationship with Russian. “There is no justification for this, and for any member of Congress to suggest it’s OK to leak classified information because you agree with the cause is terribly irresponsible and puts America in serious danger,” Graam said, forgetting Biden’s war put the whole world in danger.

What could be more dangerous for the European Continent than waging war against the Russian Federation with the risk of escalating the conflict to engulf the European Continent? Graham, the preeminent GOP war hawk in Congress, backs Biden’s war wit the Russian Federation, refusing to see how it killed U.S.-Russian relations, but more importantly, puts the U.S. and world economy into harm’s way. Graham talks about endangering U.S. troops overseas. But what about the Ukraine War endangering all of Europe, indeed the globe with WW III? Graham backs the Ukraine War because of his longstanding vendetta with 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. Graham and his pal, the late Sen. John McCain (R-Az.) battled and lost to Putin in Syria. Former President Barack Obama and Biden lost a proxy war against Syrian President Bashar-al Assad in 2015.

No one says that what Teixeira did divulging Top Secret information was his patriotic duty. But whisleblowers come in many different packages, and, for whatever reason, blow the whistle on whoever irks them. After fashioning his youth around a military career, clearly Teixeira had a change of heart. If Taylor Greene’s right, he lost faith with the Biden administration’s reckless proxy war against the Russian Federation. It’s one thing to sympathize with Ukraine, it’s another to trash decades of détente by joining a war which can lead only to death and destruction. Graham, like Biden, lets his need for revenge against Putin to undermine a pragmatic foreign policy working with adversaries to find common ground in arms control and nonproliferation. Because of the Ukraine War, Putin put the 1991 START treaty on hold because Biden decided to fund a proxy war against the Kremlin.

Facing up to 10 years in prison, the Justice Department makes sure that Teixeira won’t see the light of day for along time for breaching his Top Secret security clearance. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Join Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Miley must take a hard look at trusting post-teenagers with the highest level of security clearance. Taylor Greene’s comments hint at a motive for Teixeir’s disclosures, seeking to oppose Biden’s proxy war in Ukraine. DOJ officials want to paint Teixeira as a garden variety criminal, not worthy of any legitimate motives, like opposing the Ukraine War. Graham talks about Teixeria endangering U.S. forces. But what endangers the troop more Teixeira of Biden’s deadly proxy war against the Kremlin? Giving Ukraine unlimited cash-and-weapons has put Europe at risk of a new world war, possibly involving nuclear weapons.
