Speaking at the Munich Security Conference today, 58-year-old Vice President Kamala Harris said that Russia must be held accountable for war crimes in Ukraine, including forced deportations, execution-like assassinations, killings thousands of defenseless civilians, rape, torture and genocide against the Ukrainian people. “In the case of Russia’s actions in Ukraine, we have examined the evidence, we know the legal standards, and there is no doubt these are crimes against humanity,“ Harris told the Munich Conference. Ukraine’s 40-year-old Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has made the war crimes case against Russia since the Feb. 24, 2022 Russian invasion. “And I say to all those who have perpetrated these crimes, and to their superiors who are complicit in these crimes, you will be held to account,” Harris said, talking like she’s be running for president in 2024.
Questions still remain if 80-year-old President Joe Biden will toss his hat into the ring in 2024. Harris begins the automatic front-runner for the Democrat nomination if Biden steps aside. Whether that happens yet is anyone’s guess. Biden and Harris have made the case for perpetual war on the European Continent, goading the EU and NATO to jump on the endless war bandwagon. Harris made the case to the EU partners that they can’t let 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin win the war, asking all allies to redouble efforts to give Ukraine more cash and lethal weapons to battle the Kremlin. Harris doesn’t understand the implication of a permanent war with Moscow, trashing decades of cooperative and pragmatic relations with Washington. Since Biden joined Ukraine’s war against the Kremlin, the U.S. finds itself in a bloody proxy war to topple Putin’s government.
Harris asked the Munich Security Conference to buy White House claptrap that Putin is out to conquer the rest of Eastern Europe and must be stopped. Instead of asking the U.N. to seek a peace conference to end the Ukraine War, Harris asks U.S. allies to join the collective fight against the Russian Federation. Calling Russia’s actions in Ukraine “barbaric and inhumane,” Harris asks the Munich Conference to redouble efforts to topple the Russian government. Harris cites the March 9, 2022 bombing of a Muriupol maternity hospital that killed three people, including a Ukrainian child assaulted by a Russian soldier. Whatever the crimes, war is dirty business on both sides, knowing Ukraine wants the use of any and all weapons, including white phosphorous and cluster munitions to fight Russia. Munich’s Security Conference must not get seduced by Harris into perpetual warfare.
Harris looks to continue the Biden Ukraine policy, asking the EU to join a perpetual war to stop 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin. If EU leaders follow Harris’s requests, she’s asking for the EU to gamble with potential WW III with pure conjecture that Putin plans to reestablish the Russian Empire and take over Europe. Leaping to wild conclusions, the EU must push back against the White House madness that Putin must be removed from power, all because Harris calls the Russian leader “barbaric” or engages in crimes against humanity. Whatever destruction happens in Ukraine, its goes with the territory of war. Russia’s U.N. Amb. Vassily Nebenzia said today that the U.S. and NATO are trying to break up the Russian Federation, something undeniable by Harris’ words. Nabenzia expressed the Kremlin’s belief that the collective West looks to destroy Russia.
Harris stated the U.S. case against the Russian Federation in no uncertain terms. “Let us all agree on behalf of all the victims, both known and unknown, justice must be served,” referring the collective West waging war against Russia. If Harris really thinks that Putin is such a war criminal, why doesn’t she commit U.S. or ask for NATO troops to join the fight against Moscow. If you listen to Harris, she’s making the Western case that Russia must be stopped from his campaign against democracy in Europe. Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky asked for U.S. and NATO troops, plus a no-fly-zone to stop Russian bombardments. So far, Washington and Brussels hasn’t honored Zelensky’s request, despite giving him battle tanks and long-ange missiles. Harris sends a mixed message to the Munich Security Conference, telling the allies to join a perpetual war against the Russian Federation.
Harris’ belligerent speech at the Munich Security Conference is full of contradictions, especially about escalating the U.S. and NATO war in Ukraine. Harris claims Putin has engaged in “barbaric and inhumane” acts against humanity but refuses to commit U.S. or NATO troops to defeat Russia. Harris has no plan in Ukraine other than feeding Kiev unlimited cash-and-weapons to fight an unending war on the European Continent. “If Putin thinks he can wait us out, he is badly mistaken,” Harris said. “ Time is not on his side,” making zero sense. How much more destruction can the U.S. and Zelensky impose on Ukraine waging an unending proxy war against the Russian Federation. Where’s the commitment to a ceasefire and peace talks? State Department Spokesman Ned Price said Putin isn’t serious about peace. How does he know that until a peace process has been started?
