South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of State reported today that Russia and China entered the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone [KADIZ], sending a loud message to the White House that Russia and China have collaborated in joint flights over South Korea. Six Russian and two Chinese warplanes entered the joint air defense zone in a unprecedented provocation against South Korea. North Korea’s 38-year-old dictator Kim Jong-un has been escalating ballistic missile launches over the Sea of Japan and East Sea that joins North and South Korea. Russia and China joining forces to intimidate U.S. and South Korean authorities show the deteriorated state of diplomatic relations with Russia and China. President Joe Biden, 80, has all but wrecked U.S.-Russian and U.S.-Chinese relations, pushing Moscow and Beijing to join a strategic military alliance not seen in decades, if ever.
South Korean defense official watched as to Su-35 Russia fighter jest and four TU-35 Russian bombers returned to the area. When the U.S. had pragmatic diplomatic relations with Russia, the U.S. military would routinely communicate with Russia forces but not now that that 80-year-old President Joe Biden fights a nine-month proxy war in Ukraine. “Our military deployed air force fighter jets even before Chinese and Russian aircraft entered the KADIZ to take tactical measures in case of contingency,” said the South Korean JCS in a statement. While there’s nothing imminent about joint Russian-Chinese military attack, the U.S. military can’t feel too good about China and Russia joining forces to intimidate South Korea. North Korea’s Kim Jong-un announced his plans to have the most powerful nuclear force in the world, a troubling sign for South Korea and the U.S. military.
Consequences from the Ukraine War have been damaging to U.S. national security. Biden’s proxy war against the Kremlin has pushed Moscow and Beijing into a strategic military alliance. Biden thought China would denounce Putin’s Ukraine War but instead has watched Russia and China form a new military alliance. Beijing and Moscow have “engaged in a combined air exercises,” said Seoul’s Yonhap news agency, citing unnamed observers. Japan’s Joint Staff said that two Chinese H-6 bombers “entered the Sea of Japan and then flew north,” said Japan’s Joint Staff. “Around the same time, what appears to be two Russian aircraft flew south over the Sea of Japan and then turned around,” said Japan’s Joint staff. All the tensions relate to the Ukraine War. Biden continues escalate tensions, supplyomg Ukraine unlimited cash and lethal weapons to battle the Kremlin.
How is Biden supposed to manage North Korea or join military exercises intimidating South Korea when ht’s in a proxy war against the Russian Federation? Watching China and Russia join in military exercises shows the abysmal state of U.S. diplomatic relations with Russia and China. Biden caused a big stir in Bejing saying Sept. 23 that he would defend Taiwan with U.S. troops in the event of a Chinese invasion. Beijing insists that the Island of Formosa, housing the Republic of China [ROC], is part of Communist China. Taiwan rejects any ties to Mainland China, stoking maximum tensions in the Taiwan Strait. China spent months flying warplanes into the Taiwan Strait in a show of strength. Now China and Russia join military exercises near South Korea at a time when North Korea has threatened the U.S. and Seoul. When is the vicious cycle going to stop?
Biden thinks he can conduct a proxy war in Ukraine against he Russian Federation without consequences to all U.S. allies in the Pacific Rim and around the world. For decades, the U.S. maintained strong ties to Moscow for the purpose of managing global hotspots, requiring cooperation between Washington and Moscow. Now diplomatic relations are at a new low, making it impossible for the U.S. to cooperate with Moscow on any joint activity. Biden keeps saying he wants to get WNBA Brittney Griner out of a Russian penal colony. But he continues to fight a bloody proxy war with the Kremlin in Ukraine, leaving the 32-year-old basketball players in limbo. Biden can’t have it both ways, waging proxy war against Moscow, while, at the same time, trying to cut a prisoner swap deal. Watching Moscow and Beijing engage in joint military exercises near South Korea tells the real story.
Something must change quickly when it comes to the nine-month long proxy war with the Russian Federation. Biden can’t expect cooperation with Russia when he’s trying to vanquish the Russian military and topple Putin’s regime. Whatever nuclear threats come from North Korea, how’s Biden supposed to deal with Pyongyang when the U.S. has no diplomatic relations with Russia? U.S. national security needs Russia to manage global threats from rogues regimes like North Korea and Iran. Biden has pushed things to the breaking point on the European Continent, forcing the EU to go along with U.S. war policy in Ukraine. No one in the EU can figure out how the Ukraine War helps peace-and-stability on the European Continent. When Biden talked about nuclear Armageddon, the EU realized that it was on the front lines, not the U.S. Biden’s.foreign policy must change urgently.
