Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), 68, warmed Aug. 28 that if 76-year-old President Donald Trump is charged with violating federal records acts there would be “riots in the streets.” Graham’s statement is wishful thinking, knowing that over 250 members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are already in jail for their roles in the Jan. 6 Capitol “insurrection” or riots. Graham was trying to say it would be a travesty for the Justice Department to do any more damage to the 45th president, after spending years trying to charge him with Russian collusion and obstruction of justice. Graham lived through Obama’s witch hunt, watching Obama abuse the DOJ, CIA, FBi and National Security Agency [NSA] to prevent Trump from becoming president in 2016. So, when Graham looks at justice, he can’t fathom the idea that Atty. Gen. Merrick Garland would indict Trump for violating U.S. records acts.
Twisted by the left wing media, Graham has been accused of asking right wing militia groups to riot in the streets if Trump’s charged with a crime. Democrats and the press have done everything to keep the Aug. 8 Mar-a-Lago raid of Trump’s residence in the news, with notorious characters like former FBI agent Peter Strzok appearing on MSNBC to say Trump has severely damaged U.S. national security, insisting the boxes of junk kept in Trump’s locked basement have been infiltrated by Russia, China and Iran, complete madness but just the kind of rubbish MSNBC likes to publish. Using the disgraced, discredited and fired Peter Strzok as a on-air pundit is outrageous, showing how the cable news network, owned by NBC, has no journalistic ethics, only hatred toward Trump. So, when Graham says something about riots in the streets, he’s blasted for encouraging violence.
Graham simply pointed out the government has done enough to Trump during his 2016 campaign and presidency to call it a day when it comes to persecuting the former President. Can you imagine, Trump was forced to defend himself during the Special Counsel Mueller investigation that lasted 22-months and $40 million? Former Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein capitulated to Democrats and the press after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey May 8, 2017. Comey said at the time that Trump had every right to fire him but Democrats and the press screamed obstruction of justice, all because Trump fired Comey. Comey leaked daily fake stories to the New York Times and Washington Post, all designed to justify his fake counterintelligence investigation on Trump and his campaign. Graham said there was double standard when it came to Republican politicians, using the press to create endless fake stories about Trump’s alleged ties with the Kremlin. But think about Democrats and the press obstruction claims all because Trump fired Comey. What was Trump supposed to do, let a rogue federal cop get away with murder? Democrats like 62-year-old House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) leaked fake stories to the press for years about Trump. Even after former Special Counsel Robert Mueller cleared Trump of any ties to the Kremlin, Schiff continued saying he had all the evidence against Trump. Schiff never presented any evidence because all the mattered to the fake news was demonizing Trump with endless fake stories. Schiff now speaks daily on the Mar-a-Lago raid, saying Trump compromised U.S. national security. found at Mar-a-Lago threaten U.S. national security.
Schiff’s all in on Biden’s proxy war against the Russian Federation, potentially setting the European Continent ablaze with WW III. Schiff says nothing about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) defying Beijing, traveling to Taiwan to tell the Chinese Communist Party to take a hike. U.S.-Chinese relations have hit rock bottom, as close as it gets to a war over Taiwan. But to Schiff and other Democrats, only Trump threatens U.S. national security, over boxes of worthless files kept in a locked basement at Mar-a-Lago. Schiff doesn’t care what Trump’s charged with, only cares about Trump not running in 2024. Schiff’s the first one to say Lindsey Graham threatens violence if Trump’s charged. “Most Republicans including me, believe it comes to Trump there is no law. It’s all about getting him,” Graham said, pointing to lawless behavior by federal authorities.
Graham tried to make the point that the country can’t go rogue when it comes to Trump but expects the rule of law to be respected. Graham’s fantasy of riots in the streets if Trump gets charged is pure nonsense. Right wing militia groups, represented by the Proud Boys and Oath Keeper, are receiving long jail sentences for their madness on Jan. 6. What’s left of the right wing groups doesn’t want to stick their necks out for Trump or anyone else. Many militia groups expressed dismay over the fact that Trump didn’t show up to the Capitol on Jan. 6, realizing they were out on a limb committing malicious mischief at the Capitol. Trump never told any of them to commit violent acts against the government, no matter how much House Select Committee co-chair Rep. Liz Cheney blames Trump for everything. Maybe Cheney should ask herself how her Trump obsession worked out?
