President Joe Biden, 79, single-handedly wrecked U.S.-Russian and U.S.-Chinese relations, pushing Russia and China into a new military alliance against the United Statea. Biden’s abrasive treatment of Russia and China since taking office Jan. 20, 2021 is undeniable, calling Putin March 18, 2021 a “soulless killer,” and, on the same day, holding a get-to-know-you summit in Anchorage, Alaska, accusing Beijing of “genocide” against Muslim Uyghurs in Western China. Biden has made all the wrong moves with Russia and China, leading to the worst diplomatic relations in U.S. history. Biden hides behind the Ukraine War but let his feelings leak out March 26 in Warswa, Poland when he said 69-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin should no longer remain in power as Russian president. Things got worse when Biden boycotted the Beijing Winter Olymptics, cementing the bond between Russia and China.
Kemlin Spkesman ,Dmitry Peskov said today that Russia strongly backs 69-year-old President Xi Jinping’s claim of sovereignty over Taiwan. Only recently, House Speaker Nancy Pelsois (D-Calif.) caused quite a stir announcing an Asian trip that included a stop in Taipei. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian, 49, warned Pelosi that Beijing would not take a trip to Taipei lightly, responding forcefully, without specifying a line of action. Biden tried to get Xi to denounce Putin for his Ukraine invasion. Clarifying the Beijing position, Xi said publicly that the U.S. caused the invasion by arming Ukraine to the teeth. So, when it comes to Ukraine, Biden doesn’t have universal backing for his proxy war against the Russian Federation, instead not having China’s backing. Biden thought everyone would back his proxy war against the Russian Federation.
Peskov set the record straight about any attempt by the United States, including Pelosi’s upcoming trip, to undermine Beijing’s sovereignty over Taiwan. While the U.S. media doesn’t report it, Biden said publicly May 23 that he would defend Taiwan against the possible Chinese invasion. Biden’s statement, pretending that he never said it, was heard loudly by Xi in Beijing. Xi told Biden in a Zoom call yesterday that if Pelosi goes ahead with her trip to Taipei, the U.S. would be “playing with fire.” Peskov reaffirmed that the Kremlin backs Beijing’s sovereignty over Taiwan, despite Biden promising to go to war against China over control over Taiwan. “We believe that no other country has the right to call [that] into doubt or take and provocative steps,” Peskov said, warning Pelosi about visiting the Island nation. Successive generations of U.S. governments since the 1949 Maoist Revolution have protected Taiwan.
China wants Biden to hue carefully to the 1979 Taiwan Relations Act, signed into law by 97-year-old President Jimmy Carter, ending the 1954 Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty, requiring the U.S. to defend Taiwan. Carter’s treaty ended the mutual defense treaty and forced the U.S. to recognize only one China, the one in Beijing. Why would Carter create a treaty that negated the Republic of China, the leftovers of the Maoist Revolution. who fled Mainland China for the Island of Formosa, led by Gen. Chiang Kai-Shek. No matter how much the U.S. backed Taiwan, Carter agreed to recognize only one China, ending any mutual defense arrangement. Xi wants Biden to acknowledge that the U.S. only recognizes Beijing, calling off any Pelosi trip to Taiwan, backing the idea on an independent Taiwan. Biden’s May 23 public remaks about defending Taiwan really irked Xi.
When it comes to U.S.-China relations, it’s dangerously close to going the same direction as Moscow. While the U.S. still claims diplomatic ties with Moscow, Blinken hasn’t talked to 72-year-old Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov since before the Feb. 24 Ukraine War. What kind of foreign policy does Biden run to cut off the Russian Federation? Whatever happens to Ukraine, why does that have to destroy U.S.-Russian relations, far more important to world peace and U.S. national security than nay relationship to Kiev? Blinken only yesterday talked about speaking to Lavrov, only because the White House is under the gun to spring Britney Griner from Russian jail. But what about other cultural and geopolitical issues with the Russian Federation? Does Biden and Blinken think it’s OK to cut off Moscow because the War in Ukraine? Why has the U.S. taken only Ukraine’s side?
Biden and Blinken have a lot of nerve thinking they can contact the Kremlin now that they want to get Britney Griner out of Russian jail. But what about other strategic interests the U.S. has with the Russian Federation? Blinken hasn’t talked with Lavrov since before the Feb. 24 Ukraine War. If Putin were really vindictive, he would have broken off diplomatic relations with the U.S. because of arming Ukraine to the hilt. China wants Biden and Blinken to understand they walk on thin ice when it comes to Taiwan. China, also wants to know whether Biden would like to see a break-off of diplomatic relations with Beijing. “Resolutely safeguarding China’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity is firm will of more that 1.4 billion people,” said Lijian. Biden and Blinke must ask if they wish to risk a two-front war, one with Russia, the other with China, because they’re dangerously close.
