Warning the U.S. today that arms shipments to Ukraine are a fair war target, Russian sent a formal diplomatic note to the White House that any further arms shipments to Ukraine would be fair game. Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the U.S. Dec. 24, 2021, that if 79-year-old President Joe Biden continue to arm Ukraine, the Kremlin would take “military-technical measures” to deal with U.S. and NATO arms shipments. Whether admitted to or not, indiscriminate arms shipments to Ukraine pushed Putin to invade the country Feb. 24, after Putin’s requests for new security arrangement were ignored by the White House. Already approving March 6 $14 billion in military and humanitarian aid, Zelensky asks for much more, including U.S. boots on the ground and a no-fly-zone. So far, not one U.S., EU or NATO country has committed any troops to the Ukraine War.

Telling the White House that U.S. and NATO arms shipments would be fair game, Putin ups the ante, realizing that Ukraine desperately needs all the weapons it can get to defend the homeland Biden says repeatedly that the Ukraine War was “unprovoked and unjustified,” but admits that it’s been arming Ukraine for months over Putin’s objections. Putin said he would not allow to become a puppet U.S. state sitting on the Russia border. Zelensky has openly praised Biden for supplying Ukraine all the lethal weapons it needs to defend the country. Putting the State Department on notice that it could go after arms shipment, 59-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the arums shipment were designed to get Russian back to peace table. “We won’t confirm any private diplomatic correspondence,” said the U.S. State Department, refusing to confirm the Russian communiqué.

Biden announced another $800 million in new military assistance to Ukraine, including medium range howitzers that can help repel the Russian assault on Donbass. “What we can confirm is that, along with allies and partners, we are providing Ukraine with billions of dollars worth of security assistance, which our Ukrainian partners are suing to extraordinary effect to defend their country against Russia’s unprovoked aggression and horrific acts of violence,” said Blinken. U.S. officials repeatedly say the war was “unprovoked and unjustified,” largely because the want all the blame to go on Putin and the Kremlin. White House officials don’t think Putin should have any concern about the U.S. and NATO supplying Ukraine unlimited lethal arms, insisting that the war involved no provocation. But if the Russian Federation armed Mexico to the teeth, the White House would have strenuous objections.

No other EU or NATO country has come close to the some $15 billion provided for Ukraine’s security assistance, reluctant to call it military aid. Zelensky has been issuing almost daily warnings about Putin taking over all of Eastern Europe, former Soviet satellites, once he’s done with Ukraine. When he spoke March 20 to the Israeli Knesset [parliament], Zelensky said Putin committed genocide in Ukraine. Today Zelsnksy told the world that Putin’s on the verge of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Last week, Zelensky said Putin was ready to use chemical weapons, like white phosphorous, trying to trigger a U.S. and NATO red flag. Israel’s Knesset told Zelensky while war comes with horrific atrocities, they didn’t see a systematic attempt to liquidate the Ukrainian population. Whatever the excuses, Zelensky looks for the one hook that ropes the U.S. and NATO into committing troops.

Biden and the White House have done a good job turning the Western Alliance against Putin and the Russian Federation. White House officials can’t explain why if Biden has so much support with the allies, no one is willing to commit troops to stopping what Zelensky calls an assault on humanity. Zelensky and Biden agree that Putin is a war criminal for all the mayhem created on Ukraine’s civilians. CNN has become Zelensky’s go-to media network in the U.S., knowing that they back the massive U.S. arms shipments. Biden can’t explain why, if Putin has become a Hitler-like war criminal, why has not one EU or NATO country committed any troops. Zelensky has certainly made the case to most countries in Europe and most recently South Korea. EU and NATO countries do not want to take on Russia on the European Continent, something Zelensky’s more than ready to do.

Telling the world today that Putin’s prepared to use nuclear weapons, Zelensky hopes he can get the U.S., EU and NATO to commit troops and a no-fly-zone to Ukraine. What could be more frightening than considering a Russian nuclear attack on major European capitals? Zelensky’s honed his propaganda skills to the point that he’s not questioned one iota about his current nuclear anxieties. So far, not one in the U.S., EU or NATO have bought his arguments for troops and a no-fly-zone. Guess most the allies can’t blame Zelensky for trying to coax the West into fighting the Russian Federation directly, not just backing Ukrainian proxy forces. All the weapons flowing to Ukraine can’t please the Kremlin who could, at any time, escalate the war to starting to bomb Kiev and other major cities. Having sunk Russia’s Black Sea flagship Moskva, Zelensky is on high alert for a major escalation.
