Hiding under the U.S. and NATO umbrella, 44-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky can’t decide whether or not to take ceasefire and peace talks seriously with Russia or to continue letting the U.S. and NATO help him prosecute the war. Zelensky finds himself in no man’s land, courting the U.S. and NATO for nearly three years in office but now embroiled in a deadly war wit the Russian Federation. To 79-year-old president Joe Biden, it’s the perfect opportunity to exploit Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia, never daring to take on the Russian Federation in a direct fight. No, Biden told the world Dec. 8, 2021 and again Jan. 25 that he would not put any American boots on the ground or give Ukraine a no-fly-zone, something akin to starting WW III. When you look at Ukraine’s current fight with Moscow, it’s more clear that it’s a U.S. proxy war against the Kremlin.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, 72, said Zelensky continues to appeal for NATO help to prosecute the war, not really seeking to end the conflict. To the Russian Federation, the conflict is very simple: Russia does not want a U.S. puppet state on its border. With Zelensky seeking a steady flow of arms for the U.S. and NATO, Lavrov pointed out that he’s not interested in a ceasefire agreement let alone peace talks. “Constant angry statements from Mr. Zelensky do not increase optimism,” Lavrov told reporters today. Lavrov hasn’t yet woken up to the very real possibility that Russia is in a proxy war against the United States. Zelensky’s refusal to negotiate on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s demands for a ceasefire suggests he wants to let the conflict drag on indefinitely. Biden is seeking $8 billion from Congress to fund Ukraine’s war and humanitarian needs.

So now we know what’s really happening in Ukraine: The U.S. has begin a long-awaited war against the Russian Federation through its Kiev puppet state, funneling all the cash-and-arms into the conflict, believing, with enough U.S. funding, Ukraine can defeat the Kremlin. Zelensky continues to complain about the U.S. and NATO not setting up a no-fly-zone to shoot down Russian missiles and fighter jets. Zelensky knows that would drag NATO into WW III, possibly a nuclear exchange with the Russian Federation. U.S. and European Union [EU] press have turned the Ukraine War into the next World Cup match, watching David battle the Russian Goliath, without knowing Zelensky’s selfish motives. Nothing would make Zelensky happier than to see the U.S. and NATO do the heavy lifting in his war with Russia. As it stands now, U.S.-Russian proxy war has started.

Putin and Lavrov are just now getting a glimpse of whom they’re actually battling in Ukraine. Zelensky’s claims he’s fighting to save democracy from the “darkness” of the brutal communist tyranny. But as Lavrov has begun to find out, the Kremlin now battled a U.S. and NATO-armed enemy, essentially battling a proxy war with the U.S. in Ukraine. “My questions is: If he is so upset that NATO has not intervened on his behalf as he hoped on Friday for refusing to intervene in the conflict involving NATO in all this, and not through talks,” Lavrov said. Russian finds itself puzzled why Zelensky says he wants to continue talks but allows the U.S. and NATO to arm Ukraine. Putin said today that all the crippling economic sanctions are an act of war against the Russian Federation. Now he’s starting to figure out that Zelensky doesn’t want peace, he wants to defeat the Russian Federation.

Members of Congress are now asking Biden to create a Berlin-like airlift to Ukraine with arms and humanitarian supplies, getting the U.S. dangerously close to a direct conflict with Russia, but, more importantly, starting WW III. Putin said today a no-fly-zone, “any move in this direction will pose a threat to our service members,” considering it an act of war. No one in the Biden White House has signaled that the U.S. has engaged in a proxy war with Ukraine against the Russian Federation. With Biden asking Congress for $8 billion for military and humanitarian aid, the more it looks like the U.S uses Ukraine for proxy war against Russia. Putin said today that the crippling U.S. and EU sanctions against Russia are an act of war, forcing a new calculus going forward. Zelensky looks like he’s perfectly content to do the U.S. fighting in a proxy war against Russia.

Gladly accepting the $8 billion for more arms and humanitarian aid, it looks like it’s more profitable for Ukraine to continue the proxy war with Russia. Judging by Ukraine’s reluctance to engage Russia in serious ceasefire talks, Zelensky looks continent to keep the war going indefinitely. If Putin gets wind of the U.S. proxy war, look for the Kremlin to kick its attacks into another gear. Putin has been using his 40 mile convoy as a decoy to distract Washington and Kiev from seeing the Kremlin strategy of encircling and laying siege to Ukraine’s biggest towns and cities. Once Putin controls ingress-and-egress to Ukrainian cities, he’ll be in a position of dominating the war, eventually getting rid of Zelensky and 50-year-old Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko. If Zelensky wants anything left of Ukraine, he needs to rethink his alliance with the U.S. and NATO and enter into serious ceasefire talks with Putin.
