Having wrecked U.S.-Russian relations, 79-year-old President Joe Biden showed his gullibility, letting 43-year-old, former comedian, Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky con him into supplying offensive and defensive weapons. Zelensky knew exactly how to play into American paranoia over Russia, where former President Donald Trump spent years falsely accused of serving as Russian agent. Biden thinks the Russians meddle in every aspect of American life, whether it’s U.S. elections, democratic institutions or the free market economy. Zelensky knews how to exploit the U.S. fake news industry ready, willing and able to blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for everything but the kitchen sink. Zelensky’s treachery was fully exposed last week when he argued with Biden about how “imminent” a war with Russia was, after Biden insisted Jan. 19 that Russia was ready to invade Ukraine.
Zelensky has worked feverishly since assuming office May 20, 2019 to gain NATO membership, knowing it would trigger a war with Russia, with the U.S. and NATO battling to reclaim the Crimean Peninsula, lost March 1, 2014 after a Feb. 22, 2014 CIA-backed coup that toppled the Kremlin-backed Kiev government of Viktor Yanukovych. No Western government or press agency admits that the Feb. 22, 2014 CIA-backed coup forced Putin to annex Crimea to protect his Sevastopol naval base. When it comes to the Russian troop build up near the Ukrainian border, Zelensky exploited it to sow panic in Washington, leading to the current crisis. Biden insists that Putin is ready to invade, despite wholesale lack of facts. Putin has said he has no intent to invade Ukraine. Why should he? He already controls the Crimean Peninsula to protect his warm water naval base.
Zelensky’s true colors came out last week when he argued with Biden over whether a Russian invasion was “imminent.” Zelensky said Biden sowing panic in Ukraine has hurt the economy, with many citizens hunkering down. Zelensky then flip-flopped again, telling the press that a Russian invasion could spark a “fully-fledged war” in Europe, whipping Washington into an even bigger frenzy. “This is not going to be a war of Ukraine and Russia,” Zelensky told embattled U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson. “This is going to be a European war. A fully fledged war,” creating even more panic in the U.S. and Europe. Zelensky doesn’t know what he’s saying, depending on his audience. One day there’s nothing “imminent,” the next day it’s a war on the European Continent, essentially starting WW III. Zelensky likes stirring the pot, especially manipulating Biden, something easy to do.
Zelensky told Johnson that “no one is going to give away territory any longer,” referring to the Russian takeover of Crimea March 1, 2014. Well, with Ukraine ragtag army, it’s doubtfully Ukraine could stop Putin from seizing the Russian-speaking Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine, home to Donetsk and Luhansk, both Russian separatist strongholds that want nothing to do with Zelensky’s Kiev government. Yet if you listen to Zelensky, it’s Putin that that has turned Donbass against Kiev, when, in fact, Russian speakers want no part of Zelensky’s pro-Western government. “There are signals even from respected leaders of states, they just say that tomorrow there will be war,” Zelensky said, refuting Western assessments. “This is panic—how much does it cost for our state?” Zelsnsky asked. Zelensky plays both sides and against the middle, pitting the U.S. against the Russian Federation.
Biden has played right into Zelensky’s trap, turning Ukraine, which has no national security significance to the U.S., into a crisis that could result in the U.S. and Russia coming to blows. Zelensky has convinced the gullible 79-year-old U.S. president to wreck U.S. relations with Moscow to defend lowly Ukraine. So now U.S. national security is greatly compromised because of Biden’s foolish foreign policy, letting a 43-year-old former comedian write U.S. foreign policy. Biden and his 59-year-old Secretary of State Antony Blinke have been threatening the Russian Federation with crippling economic sanctions if the Kremlin invades Ukraine. But Putin has stated repeatedly he has no intent of invading Ukraine. There’s simply to logical rationale for him to do it other than stopping the U.S. and NATO from turning Ukraine into an armed camp to attack the Russian Federation.
Biden and Blinken have been completely conned by Zelensky into defending Ukraine to the point to wrecking U.S.-Russian relations. Biden knows that his plans to slap Ukraine with draconic economic sanctions have been undermined by China. China said today it would use its U.N. Security Council veto to stop Biden’s plan to sanction Moscow over Ukraine. Biden has so messed up generations of U.S. foreign policy that building back relations with Russia and China won’t happen easily. Boxing in U.S. foreign policy, Biden overplayed his anti-Russian hand, with China now signaling it will veto any attempt to sanction Russia. With or without the sanctions, Biden better come to his senses quickly about compromising on Putin’s key security requests or face more instability, even the prospect of a war with Russia. Biden must pull back from the abyss before it’s too late.
