When the dust settles in the 2020 election, analysts, pundits and historians will get a clearer sense of what happened, denying 74-year-old President Donald Trump a second term. But Trump said it best talking about how universal mail-in ballots would do in his campaign, worried about fraud, but, more realistically, about a high voter turnout. Making it easy for lazy voters, paying for their postage, then a far greater percentage of registered voters would mail in their ballots. Elections officials know that Democrats enjoy a significant numerical advantage in registered voters to Republicans, some 31% Democrat to 25% Republicans, adding 40% independents, according to Gallup. That disparity accounted for the unprecedented election turnout favored 77-year-old former Vice President Joe Biden, now president-elect. When you consider that 71-nillion-plus voted for Trump, it’s hardly a failure on his part.
Biden wins the presidency with over 75 millions popular votes, beating Trump 290-214 in the Electoral College, not reflecting on the closeness in traditionally Democrat states, including Wisconsin, Michigan and, to some extent, Pennslyvania. While it’s true Trump was an unconventional president, a real estate tycoon and Hollywood reality-TV star, that’s not why he lost. He lost primarily because Biden had a numerical advantage. Trump’ s campaign rallies showed far greater enthusiasm to his base than Joe Biden, who generated little interest, because he lacks charisma on the campaign trail. So when Biden tries to digest whether or not he has a national mandate, he should think carefully of where he’s taking the country. When you look at the 2020 results, with Democrats losing some 8-10 Congressional seats, there’s no “blue wave” for Democrats in 2020.
When you consider the numerical advantage with registered voters leaning Democrat, by far the most important impediment to Trump reelection was a universally negative U.S. press, that violated every journalism ethical principle to join Democrats for the last four years to defeat Trump. Entire broadcast and print news organizations ran negative press about Trump for his entire presidency. When Trump accomplished something impressive, like three Mideast peace deals in a few months, the news was blackballed by the press. When Joe Biden received negative publicity about corrupt business dealings with his 50-year-old son Hunter and 75-year-old brother Jim, the media censored the story, leaving only the New York Post that broke the story and Fox News to report on it. All other mainstream broadcast and print outlets completely censored the damaging story.
Together with the media, the Democrat Party persecuted Trump for his four years in office, alleging he had ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin. All that nonsense was based on Hillary’s paid opposition research AKA “the dossier.” Hillary blamed her loss to Trump in 2016 on Russian meddling. FBI Director Christopher Wray said Sept. 17 that Russia is actively interfering in the 2020 election, presumably to help Trump get reelected. But Democrats no longer talk about Russian meddling because Biden won, proving, that it was bogus in 2016 and certainly bogus in 2020. No U.S. intel agency could account for one vote given to Trump in 2016 or 2020, exploiting the unproved Russian meddling theory to discredit Trump’s presidency. For nearly four years, Trump dealt with the indignity of Democrats, the media, and U.S. intel agencies talking about Russian interference.
Media research back in 2017 at Harvard’s Shorenstein Center and Washington’s Media Research Center recently proved that U.S. press coverage of Trump was 96% negative, meaning that the U.S. press brainwashed the public to believe Trump was a dictator, racist, xenophobe, homophobe, misogynist, all the same propaganda used by Hillary in 2016. Demonizing Trump over his four-year-presidency is all Joe needed to prevail in 2020, without really saying a word or leaving his basement. By the time voters filled out their ballots, Trump was the personification of evil, driving enough voters away from Trump to win the election, though not easily. If the press were at all fair over the last four years, Trump would have won reelection, even with Covid-19. Democrats and the press blamed Trump for the all 235,000 U.S. deaths, as if Democrats could do any better to contain the highly contagious virus.
Biden won the 2020 election not because voters found him appealing but because Trump was so demonized by the media over the last four years, he was viewed as a “threat to American democracy.” In reality, the threat to U.S. democracy is a media that joined forces with the Democrat Party to oust him from office, one way or another. When the Russian hoax didn’t work, then Democrats and the press got fake psychiatrists to say Trump was not fit for duty and should be removed from office under the 25th Amendment. Those same fake psychiatrists like by Yale University’s Dr. Bandiy X. Lee said in 2016 that Trump was a clear-and-present danger. That “menace” kept the U.S. out of more Mideast wars and brokered three peace treaties for Israel, something never done in Israel’s over 70-year history. Biden won the 2020 election, not because of himself, because of a corrupt U.S. media.
