Pushing a bill to provide a mechanism under the 25th Amendment to remove a president from office due to some type of incapacity, 80-year-old House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) hopes to create a commission comprised of a panel of experts to recommend removal from office. Pelosi claims that her bill wouldn’t apply to Trump’s remaining term but would apply after completing his term Jan. 20, 2021, assuming he wins reelection. Pelsoi’s plan is another power grab exploiting the 25th Amendment to complete what she couldn’t accomplish at the ballot box. If 77-year-old former Vice President and Democrat nominee Joe Biden wins Nov. 3, it will give Pelosi a mechanism for getting rid of the aging Biden, who’s past health problems with hemorrhagic strokes and possible dementia would enable a panel of expert to remove Joe from office. Pelosi’s plan is an egregious power play.
Given that the 25th Amendment already exists, there’s zero need to an new bill creating a commission with potentially partisan so-called “experts” or “scientists” to make political decisions. Those same experts spoke out loudly in 2016, as they have over the last four years, led by 50-year-old Yale University psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee who testified before Congress in 2016 that 74-year-old Donald Trump was mentally unfit to be president. Lee assembled a group of 150, like-minded Trump-hating Democrat mental health “experts,” so-called “scientists,” diagnosing Trump with “malignant narcissism,” whatever that mean. Point being, so-called “scientists” or “experts” are just as political and anyone else. Dr. Lee was reprimanded by the American Psychiatric Assn. for violating the Goldwater Rule where members are not allowed to diagnosis public figures to advance political agendas.
If there’s one takeaway from the coronavirus AKA SARS CoV-2 or Covid-19 health crisis is that there’s a wide range of opinions among “scientists” and “experts” regarding prevention and treatment. Pelosi’s brainstorm to set up a commission comprised of “scientists” and “experts” to determine a president’s fitness for office and potential removal opens up a dangerous can of worms. Judging by the egregious abuse of her psychiatric profession by Yale’s Dr. Bandy X. Lee, it only makes sense that no commission or panel of experts are free from politics, no matter what the attempts at bipartisanship. It “empowers Congress to set up an independent body to confront such as crisis,” referring to a circumstance in which a hypothetical president would be too incapacitated to continue serving. If you left it to “experts” like Dr. Bandy Lee, Trump would have been barred from running for president.
Lee’s outrageous assertions all under the guise of her psychiatric training that Trump was a “malignant narcissist” likely to start WW III illustrates for all to see the fallacy of so-called medical experts meddling in politics. Lee had an ax to grind trying her best to help former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton win the presidency in 2016. “Top former elected officials and medical experts” would under Pelosi’s new bill have the responsibility to remove a duly elected president from office. Never before in the 231-year history of the United State since President George Washington was sworn in April 30, 1789, has anything like Pelosi’s bill been needed. “The legislation applies to future presidents,” Pelosi said. “But we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of the current president,” Pelosi said, referring to President Trump contracting Covid-19 Oct. 1.
Pelosi’s attempt to rewrite 231 years of U.S. history shows she has something devious in mind. “This is not about President Trump,” Pelosi said. “He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents,” Pelosi said, exposing her abysmal hatred toward Trump. In Pelosi’s mind, Trump’s never been fit for duty, now using his Covid-19 diagnosis to make excuses. Trump often refers to Pelosi as “crazy Nancy,” for the exact reason for all to see. Pelosi’s already assembled her panel of “experts” and “scientists” led by Dr. Bandy X. looking for any excuse to apply any Constitutional mechanism to get rid of Trump. She tried impeachment but that failed in the Senate Feb. 5. Now she wants another devious way to weaponize her Article 1 power: Removing a president from office. Any Constitutional scholar would reject Pelosi’s cynical power grab.
Watching what happened with Yale’s Dr. Bandy Lee abusing her psychiatric profession to advance her political agenda should send out red flags about Pelosi’s latest brainstorm. Democrats like “experts” and “scientists” as long as they can manipulate them, like they do to mega-billionaire Microsoft founder Bill Gates who’s tried to push his “science” about the Covid-19 crisis, instead giving local and state governments faulty, error-prone forecasts from his Univ. of Washington Institute for Health Care Metrics and Evaluation [IHCME]. Gatets’ “scientists” told Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom that 25.5 million California residents or 60% would have Covid-19 by May 15. “It’s good to have a standing congressional committee of experts capable of making the critical constitutional assessment,” Pelosi said. Pelosi seeks nothing less that weaponizing her Article 1 power.
