Hit with everything but the kitchen sink on a daily basis, 74-year-old President Donald Trump continues hi uphill battle for reelection, with Democrats and their media friends concocting one unverified story after another. Last week the headlines were all about Jeffrey Goldberg’s unverified account June 10, 2018 that Trump disparaged U.S. WW I war-dead, calling them “suckers” and “losers.” No one said a word about Trump’s alleged remarks back in 2018, only now, less than two months before the election, it leaks out. Now once respectable former Washington Post journalist of Watergate fame has become a Democrat hack in his new book, “Rage.” Goldberg’s outrageous accusations are now replaced by Woodward this week, taking Trump statements out of context, strung together like a Haishi bead necklace. Woodward showed his true colors, another Democrat political hack.
Occupying the 24/7 cable news shows, Woodward’s book, now offers more “bombshells,” that amount to very little about Trump’s handling of the coronavirus AKA SARS CoV-2 global pandemic, showing Trump’s early statements when no one, not even so-called experts, knew anything. Woodward’s book offers Democrats fake substance to their 2020 campaign talking points, that Trump botched the coronavirus crisis. Former Vice President and Democrat nominee Joe has stuck closely to the Democrat script, saying Trump has blood on his hands for over 190.000 U.S. deaths. That’s the fake premise that Democrats hope carries Biden to the White House. Trump told Woodward March 19, “This is deadly stuff,” then, said, “I wanted to play it down.” “I still like playing it down, because I don’t want to create a panic,” Trump said. To the anti-Trump press, they caught the president in a lie.
From that the anti-Trump media has Trump lying to the public, rather than taking a measured approach to an evolving situation, where at the time, the U.S. had 546 cases and 22 deaths. When Trump decided to ban Chinese flights to-and-from the United States Jan. 31, Biden said Trump was xenophobic, overreacting. That was the same message delivered in a Feb. 5 Geneva press conference by 55-year-old World Health Organization [WHO] Director-General Tedros Adhanom. Tedros actually said that no country should interfere with a sovereign state’s international commerce over something as inconsequential as the Wuhan-based coronvirus outbreak. Tedros said Jan. 19 that there was no “human-to-human” transmission in Wuhan, when, in fact, Beijing’s Communist government lockedowned the area, refusing to allow residents to travel to other parts of China.
Democrats concede that Goldberg’s story last week was not confirmed by any source willing to come forward. No one knows whether or not there are any real sources, much like Trump faced for nearly four years with daily stories in broadcast and print media accusing him of colluding with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. Now Woodward claims he has audiotape proof that Trump lied to the public. But what has Trump said in any recorded message that indicates he lied to the public? When Trump talks of no panicking the public, of course that makes sense at the time not known which direction the Covid-19 crisis would go. “It doesn’t bother me,” said Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-Ne.). “I don’t feel like he was lying to anybody. He’s a hopeful, upbeat, positive person . . . The gravity of it, when it was becoming clearer, was also reflected by him,” Cramer said, not leaping to conclusions.
Woodward’s interviews with Trump are actually exculpatory, when you consider he’s giving his unvarnished thoughts typically through Twitter in an evolving situation. Biden talks like Trump should have single-handedly prevented infected Chinese tourists from entering the U.S. in Dec. and Jan. 2019. Trump got his cues from Fauci but also WHO that said repeatedly there was not human-to-human transmission in China. WHO didn’t admit there was a global pandemic until March 11, three months-or-four months after infected Chinese tourists vacationed in the United States and Europe. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) celebrated Chinese New Year Feb. 24 in San Francisco’s Chinatown with crowed in the thousands. Yet Biden slams Trump for not taking the global pandemic seriously. In fairness to Pelosi, WHO had not declared a global pandemic until March 11
Woodward’s book actually provides Trump with exculpatory evidence that he managed the budding coronavirus crisis appropriately in its early stages. When you consider that Democrats have now made the timing of a vaccine a political issue, Trump’s supposed to delay its release because it might hurt Joe’s chances Nov. 3. Instead of praising Trump for “Operation Warp Speed,” Democrats and the press have turned it against Trump, suggesting that politics not public safety dictates when a vaccine would be released to the public. Woodward’s fake book flows like the might Mississippi, throwing red meat to the Democrat base, looking for anything to discredit Trump before the election. “He failed to do his job on purpose,” Biden said. “It was a life-and-death betrayal of the American people. It’s beyond despicable. It’s a dereliction of duty. It’s a disgrace,” Biden spewed Democrat campaign nonsense.
