Speaking on the second night of the virtual Democrat National Convention, 59-year-old former Department of Justice employee Sally Yates exposed for all to see what it means to be part of the “Deep State,” career partisans that work to undermine presidents of the opposing party. Yates was part of President Barack Obama’s Justice Department that opened up an FBI counterintelligence investigation into Trump alleged ties to Russia based exclusively on former Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s paid opposition research, a pile of rumors, lies, falsehoods and pure fabrication made up by 56-year-old former British MI6 agent Christopher Steele. “Speaking at a political convention is something I never expected to be doing, but the future of our democracy is at stake,” Yates said. Yates statement admits that she’s supposed to work behind-the-scenes as a deep state operative, not to reveal her identity.

Fired by 74-year-old President Donald Trump Jan. 31, 2017, it was clear to Trump that Yates was a deep state operative involved in spying on his 2016 presidential campaign. “Then, I was fired for refusing to defend President Trump’s shameful and unlawful Muslim travel ban to the U.S. from several majority-Muslim nations,” Yates said, confusing why she was fired. She was fired for being a deep state operative that spied on Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Why Yates, as a DOJ employee, was opining about Trump travel ban to prevent possible terrorists from entering the United States is anyone’s guess. When you think about it, it was State Department deep state operatives that should have opposed Trump’s travel ban, not someone working for the DOJ. Yates accused Trump of “the start of his relentless attacks on our democratic institutions and countless dedicated public servants.”

Yates knew that Trump was the Commander-in-Chief, charged with protecting U.S. national security, preventing potential terrorists from entering the U.S. What does a Mideast travel ban have to do with “relentless attacks on our democratic institutions and countless dedicated public servants?” Gates got fired because she was an outspoken Democrat operative working in the DOJ, part of a conspiracy to spy on Trump’s 2016 campaign to give former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton a leg up in the 2016 election. Yates lashed out at the DNC convention because she holds a grudge for Trump firing her with cause, 11 days after taking office. Trump didn’t know at the time that Yates was present at a Jan. 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting with former President Barack Obama, former VP Joe Biden, former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Security James Clapper.

At that Jan. 5, 2017 meeting, Yates discussed entrapping former Lt. Gov. Gen. Michael Flynn for violating the arcane 1799 Logan Act, conducting foreign policy without a government portfolio. Also present at the Jan. 5, 2017 meeting was 55-year-old former National Security Director Susan Rice who authorized “unmasking” of Flynn’s conversations with 69-year-old former Russian Amb. Sergey Kislyak. Yates talks about Trump shredding the rule of law. What does she think she was doing entrapping Flynn and spying on the Trump campaign and presidency? “From the moment President Trump took office, he has used his position to benefit himself rather than our country,” Yates said, speaking in platitudes, preaching to the anti-Trump choir at the virtual DNC convention. Yates can’t contain her ire over getting caught red handed and fired by Trump.

Yates presentation to the Atlanta-based DNC convention exposes how the deep state operates, once a new administration from the opposing party takes over. Yates could have stayed in her job had she not exposed her personal animus toward Trump. “He’s trampled the rule of law, trying to weaponize our Justice Department, trying to attack his enemies and a protect his friends,” Yates said, referring to Flynn and Roger Stone, both of whom got Trump’s attention for unfair treatment. If Yates calls Trump “weaponizing” the DOJ, what did she do participating in a conspiracy with the FBI and CIA to give Hillary an unfair advantage in the 2016 presidential election? Atty. Gen. William Barr is actively pursuing criminal charges of former Obama administration officials for illegally investigating Trump’s 2016 campaign. Yates displays astonishing nerve accusing Trump of wrongdoing.

Where Yates thinks it was part of her DOJ job to opine about the Commander-in-Chief’s Article 2 authority to restrict travel to protect U.S. national security is anyone’s guess. It shows the arrogance of deep state bureaucrats who think they can step over the line to interfere with the Constitutional separation of powers. “Rather than standing up to [Russian President] Vladimir Putn, he fawns over a dictator who’s still trying to interfere in out election,” Yates said. What did Yates try to do in the 2016 election when she participated in the FBI’s illegal counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign? “He’s even trying to sabotage our Postal Service to keep people form being able to vote,” Yates said, showing she a political hack, reciting the Democrat election strategy talking points. Listening to Yates gives a free X-Ray into the “Deep State,” disgruntled career political operatives.
