Ukraine’s 45-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky called today at the U.N. for Russia, a permanent member of the Security Council, to be expelled because of the Ukraine War. Zelensky has gone mad with his self-aggrandizement, losing all perspective for a former TV comedian-turned-Ukraine-president. Zelenskty has been pumped up by 80-year-old President Joe Biden who told the U.N. General Assembly today that 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin must be stopped or he’ll take over all of Europe. Biden’s claptrap has been repeated by Zelensky at every opportunity, now telling the world that if Ukraine loses the war, WW III would follow. Zelensky gives every possible excuse why the reckless and destructive U.S.-funded proxy war against the Kremlin must continue. Biden and Zelensky reject all efforts by Brazil’s 77-year-old President Lula da Silva for peace talks.
Zelensky went over the top telling the U.N. hierarchy that Russia should be dropped from the Security Council. Biden talks about violating the U.N. Charter but where does it say that the United States should arm Ukraine to the teeth right on the Russian border? U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterrres must be horrified listening to the arrogant Zelensky dictating what the U.N. should do with its leadership structure when Zelensky rejects all efforts by U.N. member states to settle the Ukraine conflict. At some point, doesn’t the U.N. or NATO need to call Zelensky out for overstepping his boundaries? Zelensky presides over the bankrupt Kiev government, getting 100% of its funding from U.S. taxpayers. Shouldn’t someone in Zelensky’s position make use of U.N.’s resources—and wisdom—to end the war with the Kremlin for the sake of peace on the European Continent?
Where does Zelensky think he can publicly call for Russia to be expelled from the U.N. Security Council? Zelensky obviously doesn’t know how many Russians died fighting the Nazis in WW III, all 28 million. Doesn’t Russia deserve a special place for all its sacrifices to save Europe from a real menace in Adlolf Hitler? German Chancellor Olaf Scholz knows his history, leading him to be cautious denouncing Putin, knowing German and Russian history. Zelensky acts like he was born yesterday, calling for Russia’s expulsion from the Security Council, all because he chose war with Kremlin, rather than letting the U.N. broker and fair peace settlement, even if it means Ukraine must compromise. Criticizing the U.N. for allowing Russia to retain its permanent-member status is outrageous. Biden and Zelensky both reflect unfavorably on the United States.
Zelensky wants more cash-and-arms to battle the Kremlin for the purpose of ousting all 200,000 Russian troops from Ukraine’s sovereign territory. Russia had troops in Ukraine before the Feb. 24, 2022 invasion, and will have troops in Ukraine after a peace settlement. Zelensky’s latest narrative from his 37-year-old propaganda minister Kyrlyo Budanov is that without winning the war, WW III will start in Europe. Biden and Zelensky both know that NATO, not Ukraine, defends European democracy. Zelensky has been telling the U.S. Congress and European Union [EU] that the Ukraine War is about defending European democracy. Why hasn’t the U.N. and EU pushed back, telling Zelensky that NATO is chartered to defend European democracy? How can the U.S., EU and NATO let Zelenskhy spew his rubbish on the world stage? Zelensky is marketed as a freedom fighter, what nonsense.
Secretary Guterres should sit down with Zelensky and tell him to control his mouth. However pumped up he is from Biden, Guterres knows there’s been many credible peace proposals by China, Brazil and South Africa to name a few, to end what Zelensky calls Russian terrorism. What’s most ironic today is the New York Times reports that the Sept. 6 open market attack that killed 17 civilians was caused by an errant Ukrainian missile, not Russia. Yet Zelensky’s known this for weeks but says nothing. If that doesn’t tell the real story about Zelensky, nothing will. He never tells the truth about the war in terms of Ukraine’s losses, only highlighting Russian losses to keep the cash rolling into Kiev. Zelensky won’t admit his war strategy with the Kremlin has cost Ukraine incalculable death-and-destruction. Yet Zelensky refers to the Russian “terrorists” attacking Ukraine.
Guterres has a real opportunity to set the record straight with Zelensky, putting him on notice that he must work with the U.N. to end the Ukraine War. Biden embarrasses the United States letting Zelensky run his mouth, calling for Russia to be expelled from the Security Council. No one made more sacrifices in WW III to defeat Hitler than the Soviet Union. Whatever one thinks of Putin, the U.S. and Ukraine must stop the one-sided demonization and recognize what caused Putin to go into Ukraine. If Biden weren’t arming Ukraine indiscriminately, refusing to discuss new security arrangements, Putin would not have invaded. So, to be fair, the Ukraine war was not, as Biden says, “unprovoked and unjustified.” Western nations have gone along for too long, now should demand that the conflict move to the peace table. Only Biden and Zelensky are the impediments to peace.
