Speaking with 77-year-old Brazilian President-elect Luiz Ignacio Lula de Silva, 70-year-old Russian President Vladimir Putin professed his loyalty and strong working relations with Brazil, part of the BRICS economy bloc, including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. President Joe Biden, 80, said he would build a worldwide coalition against the Russian Federation to stop Putin’s Ukraine invasion. Biden threatened for months before the Feb. 24 invasion that Putin was face the most punitive economic and political sanctions every applied to any country. But much to Biden’s surprise, Putin’s allies refused to jump on the anti-Russian bandwagon, including Communist China and India who’s bought more oil from Putin than before the Ukraine invasion. Biden thought he’d get more to join his Russian oil boycott than just the Brussels-based European Union [EU].
Biden threatened China and India with economic sanctions, realizing the U.S.-Chinese relations were at the lowest level since the 1949 Maoist Revolution. India’s 72-year-old Prime Minister Narenda Modi also didn’t go along with Biden’s sanctions, telling Biden, while India deplores war, he’s not going to take sides in the conflict. Biden took such an extreme position, he’s practically broken off U.S.-Russian relations. Gone are the days when decades of U.S.-Russian diplomacy since the end of WW II helped create a more stable world. Decades of U.S. presidents, until Biden, worked constructively with the old Soviet Union, and, since 1991, the Russian Federation. Biden decided to adopt Ukraine as a 51st state, a big mistake to U.S.-Russian relations. Putin expected Biden after decades of working together to find common ground with Moscow, to work constructively with Moscow..
Biden decided to toss Putin under the buss and join Ukraine’s war with the Russian Federation. Biden has supplied Kiev with unlimited cash and lethal arms to battle the Kremlin. Putin knows that the Ukraine War is not about defeating Ukraine, it’s about using Ukrainian troops to fight the Russian Federation. Putin said he has strong relations with Lula, working together for the same economy goals. Biden thought his Russian oil boycott would decimate the Russian economy, forcing Putin to get out of Ukraine. Putin’s old allies and trading partners haven’t gone along with Biden to create economic war on the Russian Federation. Putin has a strong relationship with 67-year-old conservative Brazilian President Jar Bolsonaro who recently lost to Lula. Putin said he has a long relationship with Lula, saying the BRICS economic bloc would stick together to support Moscow.
Lula promised that Brazil was back to open trading on the world market, praising Putin for his affordable fossil fuel supplies. “Putin congratulated me on my election victory and wished me a good administration and the strengthening of relations between our countries,” Lula said, letting Biden know that he won’t join his largely EU coalition against the Russian Federation. “Brazil is back seeking dialogue with everyone and commitment to the search for a world without hunger with peace,” Luna said. Luna, like India’s Modi, wants a world at peace but isn’t willing to take sides because Biden has chose Ukraine over the Russian Federation. No one thinks Ukraine holds any national security significance to the U.S. yet Biden trashed Moscow, joining forces with Kiev. Brazil and Russia have close economic ties with Brazil active members of the BRICS coalition, unwilling to join Biden’s anti-Putin coalition.
Putin praised Brazil for its steadfast coalition with the BRICS economy bloc. Putin said Brazil and Russia have a “stragetic partnership . .. will develop successfully, including the BRICS framework.” Biden thought he could divide the BRICS economic partnership, all because of his vendetta with Putin. BRICS countries all rejected Biden’s call to boycott the Russian Federation, realizing they got more value-added with Russia than anything offered by the U.S. Unable to get China, India or South Africa to join the anti-Putin bandwagon, Biden pushed Russia and China into a close economic and military alliamce. Losing India and China was a big blow to Biden’s effort to isolate the Russian Federation. BRICS’ economic alliance provides countries all the fossil fuel they need at affordable prices to run economies, despite attempts by Biden to get everyone on the alternative fuel industry.
Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymr Zelenskh plans to visit Washington, maybe tomorrow to address a join session of Congress. Biden and Zelensky have refused the growing mood in the EU and Republicans in Congress to push the conflict toe the peace table, to stop the blank check Biden’s spending on Ukraine. Zelenskhy has shown zero interest in compromising on the ceasefire and peace plan, unless Putin meets his unrealistic demand to remove all his troops from Ukraine. Putin had troops in Ukraine before the Feb. 24 invasion in Donetsk, Luhansk and Crime. Putin rejected Zelensky’s demand to return very inch of Kiev’s sovereign territory. Biden’s demands to denounce Putin have been roundly rejected by the BRICS bloc, representing Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. When Biden meets with Zelensky, he needs to let him know the blank check won’t go on forever.
