LOS ANGELES (OC).–Meeting in London, the U.K. and European Union discussed how to open the Strait of Horuuz currently blocked by Iran’s Republican Guards in a terrorist act against the civilzed world.  Blocking access of commercial shipping routes Iran has driving the price of oil over $100 a barrel, something that hurts every economy on the planet.  In over four weeks of war with the U.S. and Israel, Iran has nothing left in the tank other than the most crass terrorist tactics.  Considered the world chief sponsor of state-terrorism, Iran now exposes its terrorist ways blocking an international waterway, all to pressure Arab Gulf oil producers to pressure U.S. President Donald Trump to stop his war with Iran’s radical mullah government.  Trump has practically stood on his head to negotiate a fair settlement but Iran keeps kicking sand in his face instead of compromising.

Trump tried to deal with more sensible elements within Iran’s mullah government, always with the same outcome.  Iran wants to save face with the world after watching its military humiliated over the last four weeks.  Iran rejected Trump’s 15-point peace proposal which would have ended all oil sanctions on Iran in exchange for letting the U.N.’s IAEA to control Iran’s nuclear enrichment program.  Contrary to Democrats and the fake news, Trump’s objectives in Iran were always clear:  De-fang Iran’s military so that it can no longer spread terrorism around the Middle East.  Trump also wants to change regimes in Tehran to one less hostile to the United States and Israel.  With the stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has destabilized world oil markets prompting Trump to not end the war until he has liberate the Strait of Hormuz to open up the flow of oil.

U.K. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper said the 41 countries attending the meetings looked for political or diplomatic solutions to opening up the Strait of Hormuz.  Trump did not have any U.S. diplomat attending the meeting, knowing that the EU and NATO rebuffed Trump’s request for help to open up the Strait of Hormuz. “We have seen Iran hijack an international shipping route to hold the global economy hostage,” Cooper said, noting the inflation in energy and other prices.  Iran has attacked 23 ships since Feb. 28 trying to make their way through the Strait of Hormuz.  Yet the EU and NATO offer no military help to the U.S. trying to open up the commercial shipping lane for the benefit of EU and Asian countries that buy oil coming through the Persian Gulf.  French President Emmanuel Macron said the only way forward was diplomacy with Iran.

Macron gives meaning to the EU and NATO seen as a Paper Tiger for its reluctance to take a stand on Iran’s terrorism. Can you imagine Macron thinks the EU can negotiate with the radical mullah regime once the war ends. But before that happens, Macron offers no military help to the U.S. not faced with escalating the war because Iran refuses to negotiate.  Iran offered a counter-proposal to have the U.S. pay war reparations to Iran and to recognize Iran’s sovereign right to control the Stait of Hormuz.  Trump now faces the inescapable reality of escalating the war or acquiescing to Iran’s illegal control of the Strait of Hormuz.  With little military left, Iran has resorted to terrorism to fight the U.S. and Israel.  Now in survival mode the  mullah regime only has the most crass terrorism tactics left to keep up the fight.  Trump isn’t ready to cut-and-run from the Iran War.

Wall Street wants only good news on the Iran War, that Trump will end the war soon, not considering the consequences of walking away from the conflict. Trump has watched the EU and NATO fight him on the Ukraine War where he was 90% within a final settlement.  Yet the EU and NATO oppose the principle of swapping land with Russia to end the war.  EU officials are concerned that Putin would take any land swap as an invitation to seize European land in the land in the future. Russian President Vladimir Putin has shown he has no interest in any European land but the Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky still makes the false claims.  When it comes to the Iran War, the EU and NATO are dreaming they can deal with Iran’s radical mullah regime with diplomacy.  Iran has made clear it wants sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, a complete disaster.

Meeting in London, the EU hopes to humiliate Trump one more time, this time about opening up the Strait of Hormuz through diplomacy.  If the EU can get Iran to stop its terrorist ways, then more power to them.  But all of Trump’s talks with Iran have proved fruitless, with Iran demanding the U.S. pay for war reparations and retain sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.  There’s zero proof that the EU will do anything with the failing mullah regime in Iran, other that trying to embarrass Trump.  Iran knows that the mullah regime seeks a nuclear bomg at the earliest possible time, something Trump refuses to let happen.  When it comes to Iran’s military capability, over four weeks of war have degraded Iran to the point that it can no longer defend itself.  Trump gave Iran until April 6 to open up the Strait of Hormuz.  After that, Trump plans to take out the big guns.
