LOS ANGELES (OC).–Russia Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov exposed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a fraud saying that Russia was willing to sign a declaration to the European Union and NATO that it would not seize any European territory.  Zelensky and former President Joe Biden routinely told NATO and EU allies that if Russian prevailed in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin would move to seize territory in Europe. Biden and Zelensky used the false narrative as a way to drum up support for the Ukraine War.  Zelensky received over $300 billion from the U.S. in cash-and-arms about the same from the EU.  Zelensky continues to insist that Putin has his eyes on the EU for more territory once he gets what he wants out of Ukraine.  Zelensky gaslights the EU, especially Poland and the Baltic States to believe that Putin is a threat to the EU.

Lavrov wants to expose Zelensky and set the record straight so the EU can stop its belligerent talk about the Russian Federation.  Russian and the EU has a long, historic trading relationship with before Biden convinced the EU to join his proxy war against the Kremlin.  Zelensky denigrates Putin daily saying Putin doesn’t want peace, when, in fact, Zelensky doesn’t want peace or only on his terms.  Zelensky wants Putin to return all the seized land over three-and-a-half years of war because he refuses to admit that he’s lost 25% of Ukraine best sovereign territory to the Kremlin. Zelensky fears a coup d’etat once the Ukrainian people know that he’s lost so much land to Russia in three-and-a-half years of war.  EU officials need to get tough with Zelensky and insist he let President Donald Trump work out a peace deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Lavrov wants to make Putin’s position clear that he wants no conflict with the EU and NATO, something Zelensky makes up to squeeze cash-and-arms from the EU.  “We have repeatedly said that we had, and have, no intention to attack any current NATO or EU members,” Lavrov said and Eurasian security forum in Minsk, Belarus.  “We are ready to enshrine the position in future security guarantees for this part of Eurasia,” Lavrov said in a transcript given to by the Russian Foreign Ministry.  Lavrov wants the EU to stop accusing Putin of having secret plans to seize EU territory.  Zelensky benefits when he convinces Brussels that the Ukraine War defends European demoncracy, when, in fact, Zelensky can’t defend his own territory let alone Europe. Zelensky told the Munich Security Conference that Trump wasn’t concerned about European security.

Lavrox said it was difficult to engage the EU in security guarantees when they harbor unrealistic fears that Russia would invade EU territory in the near future. EU has refused “genuine collective security guarantees,” ultimately to end the Ukraine War and get back to normal business ties. Russian wants to resume selling the EU natural gas and petroleum to help defray some of Europe’s high prices on energy.  Since Zelensky insists that Putin has his eyes on more EU territory, Brussels has been reluctant to take Putin at his word.  Putin has never said he wants more EU territory, only that he wants to get to the root of the problem. Putin thinks NATO and the U.S. have encroached on Russian National Security by stationing NATO outposts in Sweden, Finland and fight its war in Ukraine.  Zelensky insists that Ukraine is par to the European Continent, when its is not.

Lavrov said the EU pressure Trump into changing the agreement in Anchorage where Trump and Putin agreed that a permanent peace settlement was preferable to a short-term ceasefire.  Since Trump met with Putin Aug. 15, he’s been pushing for a pause in the air war to show good faith when it came to peace efforts.  Calling Trump’s call for a ceasefire a “radical change,” Lavrov sees the pressure the EU has put on Trump to get a temporary pause in the air war.  Putin has told Trump if Zelensky is serious about peace he’ll ask his peace delegation to meet with its Russian counterparts to work out a permanent settlement to be signed by he and Zelensky.  So far, Zelensky has showed no interest in trading land-for-peace, instead asking the EU for more cash-and-arms to keep the war going.  Only last week, Zelensky asked Trump for Tomahawk Cruise missiles.

Brussels must be clear with Zelensky that they expect him to engage in a realistic peace deal with Putin.  Anything realistic requires Zelensky to trade land-for-peace, something required to end the three-and-a-half-year conflict. Every day delayed is more death, destruction to Ukraine’s infrastructure and more lost territory. Putin isn’t going to stop the war unless Russian and Ukrainian peace delegations meet to work out details of a permanent ceasefire.  Lavrov wants the EU to understand that Russia has no beef with the EU and is willing to sign a non-aggression treaty with Brussels at any time.  Whatever goes on in the Ukraine War is between Kiev and Moscow and not part of continued diplomacy with Europe.  Zelensky has been gaslighting the EU into thinking that Putin wants EU territory next.  Lavrov dismissed Zelensky’s talk as pure propaganda.
