LOS ANGELES (OC).–Vowing to go after violent radical groups after the Sept. 10 assassination of conservative radio talk show host Charlie Kirk, the left has pushed back, saying that Kirk’s assassination of Tyler Robinson was not part of any radical group.  Since the Jan. 6 Capitol riots, Democrats and the fake news have blamed violence in America on right wing vigilante groups.  Whoever showed up on Jan. 6, 2021 to vandalize the Capitol, Democrat ranted about Trump issuing pardons to some of the Jan. 6 protesters.  During the 2020 Election Year, there were race riots in American streets due to the high-profile police killing of George Floyd May 25, 2020, causing looting, arson and mayhem around the country.  Leftist rioters became collectively known as ANTIFA, despite denials that such an organization exists.  Trump vowed to crack down on leftist extremist groups.

Now the left pushes back against at Trump’s threat to go after leftist group for the assassination of Charlie Kirk.  Kirk founded a nonprofit organization in 2012 called Turning Point USA, designed to register young Republican voters on college campuses around the country.  Kirk refined his craft over the years eventually finding his way to Salem Radio, developing one of the most successful ratio shows since the late Rush Limbaugh. Kirk interviewed a virtual who’s who in Washington’s conservative circles, bringing him fame at the young age of 31  When Robinson gunned Kirk down, it was truly shocking for the conservative community, well-aware of the role Kirk played in registering young GOP voters to help President Donald Trump win the 2024 election.  Trump gave plenty of credit to Charlie Kirk for winning him the election.

Because Kirk was a cultural warrior, taking on such thorny topics as abortion or transgender in high school or college sports, he’s easily vilified by Republicans after his death.  It was no accident that Kimmel would go after Kirk, someone considered racist or gender-biased in Democrat circles.  Left wing commentators want to make the point that the best evidence of Robinson’s motives were reported by police and FBI, saying he was mad about Kirk’s positions on the transgender community.  Orem Police officials reported that Robinson was involved in a relationship with a transgender male, transitioning to female.  Those findings were corroborated by Robinson’s mother who confirmed the relationship but also that her son’s political views had changed over the years.  Robinsson said in text messages that he “had enough of [Kirk’s] hatred,” saying “some hate can’t be negotiated.”

Leftist groups dispute that idea that Robinson was involved in any organization promoting LGBTQ-plus political view, instead just had his own feelings toward Kirk for his anti-transgender views.  Trump has been spreading the view that Kirk was a victim of radical violence, when, in fact, Robinson had his own issue for assassination Kirk.  According to law enforcement officials, Robinson had been planning the attack of over a week by himself with no help from any other group.  When considering how a 22-year-old young man with his entire future ahead of him could take the law into his own hands and snuff out the life of a young father of two, it’s beyond comprehension.  No one at the White House, including Deputy Chief of Staff Stephan Miller, could identify any group he would  target.  Kirk’s assassination looks like a lone wolf operation.

No profiler can come up with a single motive for engaging in such horrific behavior, when you consider how Robinson destroyed his life.  He reportedly apologized to his roommate for shooting Kirk.  But when it comes to motive, it’s far more complicated that he was angry with Kirk for his views on the transgender community.  Plotting to assassinate a political figure reveals a far sicker personality than a single motive.  Some could have said to Robinson there are alternatives to First Degree Murder.  Robinson’s judgment was so off-that-the-wall, so erratic, that saying he was mad at Kirk for harboring anti-transgender views sounds way to simple.  Like New York United Health Care assassin Luigi Mangione, there was an obsession that drove him to shoot CEO Brian Thomson in the back. Both Robinson and Magione had an obsession that wouldn’t stop.

Democrats and the fake news shouldn’t obsess over which radical groups Trump Deputy Chief of Staff Stephan Miller thinks about targeting.  When it comes to Charlie Kirk’s assassin Tyler Robinson, it looks like he was a long wolf, caught between his own obsession and a murky reality for how he shot Kirk in cold blood.  Profilers of political assassins know that there’s more to the personalities capable of committing such unthinkable acts.  Even if Robinson was mad about Kirk’s critical view of transgenders, there were options he had short of murdering Kirk.  So when everything comes out in court, there/s going to be a lot more said about the nature of intractable obsessions with certain kinds of mental disorders.  While there’s no excuse for what Robinson or Mangione did, there’s more to committing cold blooded murder than only not liking someone’s political views.
