LOS ANGELES (OC).–Hosting a meeting at the White House with Ukraine’s 47-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Union leaders, President Donald Trump showed his statesmanship skills trying to move the deadliest conflict in Europe since World War II to a merciless end. Trump put world peace on his back, dragging reluctant leaders to the peace table to finally work on ending the Ukraine War. Zelensky completed his metamorphosis from his last time Feb. 28 in the Oval Office where he threw a fit with Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. Gone is Zelensky’s attitude, thinking, in the most twisted way, that Trump was on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s side. Gone are the fake media narrative that had Trump pulling the rug out from underneath Ukraine’s security. Zelensky got beyond the Democrat and fake news to understand Trump was fully in charge.
When you consider the rotten state of the Democrat Party and fake news in the United States, it seems into world opinion, painting Trump as an eccentric old tycoon, rather than an Amerocam statesman, out to leave his legacy on the country he loves. Whether some of his policies need tweaking or not, including the deportation policy, Trump is trying to fix the many problems that ail contemporary America. Democrats and the fake news look only at politics, namely, about winning the 2026 Midterm election to retake the House and Senate. Trump works to fix the many domestic and foreign policy mishaps created by former President Joe Biden as he struggled with his cognitive decline and means of covering it up. Democrats and the fake news did everything possible to hide Biden’s disability, leaving the country vulnerable because of a leadership vacuum in domestic and foreign policy.
Yesterday’s White House meeting hosting Zelensky and world leaders showed Democrats and the fake news that Trump is fully in control, despite occasional glitches. Zelensky was well-behaved largely because he felt secure with his friends from the EU like French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Yet the mood was entirely different from the EU leaders, realizing that Trump was the real deal, the kind of once-in-a-lifetime statesman capable to getting big things done. Zelensky and the EU leaders liked when Trump said he would consider providing some kind of security shield to a post-war Ukraine. Trump knows it won’t be necessary because once a deal is done, Putin will have moved on from Ukraine. Putin wants to end the sanctions, rejoin the mainstream world economic community.
European leaders have been sold a bill of goods by Zelensky, warning them about an overly aggressive Russia Federation. But when it came to Ukraine, Putin had no interest in encroaching on NATO countries, only containing a growing Ukrainian threat. Once former President Joe Biden decided to fund proxy war in Ukraine with the Kremlin, Putin took it as an existential threat to the Kremlin. Bidnen trashed decades of diplomacy, détente, arms control and global cooperation all to justify his war with the Kremlin. Trump has done everything possible to improve normal diplomatic ties with the Russian Federation, something that bothered Zelensky. Zelenksy thought he could gaslight the EU into thinking that Ukraine defended European democracy. Russia is no threat to the EU, just seeking to stop the unlimited flow of arms into Ukraine.
Zelensky knows that Trump’s peacemaking will get down to brass tacks sometime soon. Trump has arranged a trilateral meeting among Zelensky, Putin and Trump as mediator in the not too distant future. When the meeting takes place, all the details of a peace deal will have to be worked out in advance. Putin is not the type to walk into a meeting blindly without having done his homework. “A week of two weeks, we’ll al know whether we’re going to solve this, or if this horrible fighting is going to continue,” Trump said, saying the issue to solve aren’t “overly complete.” Trump said on his Truth Social platform that Zelensky could end the war almost immediately by agreeing certain land-swaps, something sought by Putin. Zelensky showed he’s softening his position about trading land-for-peace, now considering where he’s willing to ceded territory to Putin.
Trump showed the world why he’s a once-in-a-generation statesman, managing to change the course of history with the force of his personality. While hated by Democrats and friends in the fake news, Zelensky and EU leaders saw him in action yesterday, realizing he could actually get a peace deal in Ukraine. EU leaders are getting over their skepticism, largely caused by Democrats and the fake news, realizing that Trump is the only one that can pull off a peace deal with Putin in Ukraine. EU officials have got off their high horses and now defer to Trump when it comes to getting a peace deal done. Putin is intrigued by the prospects of returning to the mainstream economy order, ending sanctions, selling crude oil and natural gas on world markets. Ukraine no longer holds any significance to the Kremlin now that they know that Trump is no longer an enemy of Russia.
