LOS ANGELES (OC).–President Donald Trump ignored a CNN reporter’s question of whether or not he would appoint a special counsel in the Epstein affair. All the fake news has been consumed with the Epstein case since Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi said last week she had no “client list” in her State Department documents. Apparently last Feb. Bondi said she had a client list as part of her State Department docs, obviously misspeaking. “I have nothing to do with it,” Trump said to the CNN reporter, knowing that decisions regarding a Special Counsel are handled by the attorney general. When Deputy Atty. Gen. Rod Rosenstein appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller in 2017 to investigate the FBI and CIA’s allegations regarding Trump ties to the Kremlin, it was a week after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey. How ironic the DOJ now investigates Comey from misconduct.
Trump had nothing to do with Mueller in 2017 and has nothing to do with Epstein in 2025. But unlike the situation in 2017, what possible interest does the public have with Epstein, other than pure voyeurism? Esptein was at New York’s Rikers Island detention jail when he was found dead Aug. 10, 2019 in his cell. Since then, there have been unending conspiracy theories about him getting whacked in jail when the New York City coroner ruled that Epstein committed suicide. But the obsession with Epstein has take a political turn, with Democrats thinking they can catch Trump in a new cover-up. Bondi didn’t help things saying Feb. she thought she had Epstein’s “client list,” when in fact no client list exists. Former Epstein attorney Alan Dershowitz said no client list exists. If there are redacted names, only the Manhattan judges would have them in the case files.
Trump had some harsh words from MAGA supporters like conservative activist Laura Loomer and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Co.) called for a Special Counsel, annoying Trump. Trump said he didn’t need or want the support MAGA backers that seek to turn the Epstein case into a circus. Trump called the obsession with Epstein a Democrat “scam,” something some MAGA types have fallen into. Trump said any MAGA backer supporting a Special Counsel for Epstein isn’t welcomed by him. “Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters [like Boebert and Loomer] have bought into this bull—-,’ hook, line and sinker,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.” Trump lived with plenty of fake investigations.
Trump expressed frustration with his former MAGA supporters because demanding a Special Counsel for Epstein shows they could care less about all of his many accomplishments, including the Iran bombing raid and passing his big beautiful bill. “I have had more success in 6 months that perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” Trump said. Democrats hope they can create enough brouhaha to get the public riled up. Unlike 2017 when Trump had no say over the DOJ’s appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel, Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi has the call now. Bondi would never call a Special Counsel to satisfy Democrats and the fake news. CNN and MSNBC continue to hammer away to create fake news.
Trump doesn’t want so-called conservative activists like Laura Loomer calling for Special Counsel, realizing that she’s actually works with Democrats and the fake news. Jeffrey Epstein’s case has been a dead horse for a long time, only recently revived by the fake news to accuse Trump of a State Department cover up. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats’ work, don’t even think about talking to our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!” Trump said. Saying that about his daughter-in-law Lara Trump is a big deal, because she was the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, someone in good standing with the President. Trump’s recent statements show that even members of his own family don’t understand the damage done to Trump by the latest Epstein hoax.
When it comes to latest Epstein hoopla, it shows the fake news won’t stop with any controversy that discredits the Trump White House. Today’s NBC headlines about only one of the three Iranian enrichment facilities was destroyed, misleads the public to think there wasn’t serious damage with the other two. Everything reported in the fake news is designed to hammer down Trump’s approval ratings ahead of next year’s Midterm elections. If Democrats and the fake news can keep the public distracted with the Epstein hoax, it takes away from Wall Street’s remarkable recovery and prospects for economic growth. Trump isn’t fooled at all by the fake news who’s been after him since he first ran for president in 2016. It took years after Democrats and the fake news accused him of Russian collusion. Now Democrats and the fake news want to distract the public with the Epstein rubbish.
