LOS ANGELES (OC).–Jeffrey Epstein’s former attorney Alan Dershowitz says there is no client list, only a couple of New York judges that have documents deliberately redacted to protect victims and their families. If anyone wished to get redacted names, they would have to get a court order from Epstein’s past judges. Epstein was awaiting trial for sex trafficking when he was found dead in his Rikers Island jail cell Aug. 10, 2019. Dershowitz said there is no “client list,” despite past statements by Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi. “There are several of them from accusers that accuse Jeffrey—that acusse various people of having improper sex, and that has been redacted, the names of the people accused have been blacked out. Now, of course, because I was lawyers and I did all the investigations, I know who all these people are,” Dershowitz said Monday on New Nation’s “Cuomo.”
Dershowitz said none of the people are currently in office or alive. “Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead. But there is no client list,” Dershowitz told Cuomo.” “And the redactions could be undone if you go to court.” Fake news is in a fever’s pitch trying to get to the so-called list, pressuring President Donald Trump and Bondi to release whatever information they have. Dershowitz believes whatever names have already been released into the airwaves aren’t likely to change with anything Bondi or FBI Director Kash Patel have in their possession. Everything playing out now is for political theater, but, more importantly, to build a case that Trump and his State Department are involved in a cover-up of the Epstein files. Democrats want to show that Trump has been dishonest with the public, not disclosing what’s known about Epstein.
Epstein’s disclosures on Cumo’s show were designed to take the heat of the State Department, giving the public the facts about a fictional client list. “So, many of the things that are being suppressed are being suppressed by two judges in Manhattan, and they’re doing it largely to protect the alleged accusers who are, in the view of judges, victims, even though we don’t know what their actual status is,” Dershowitz said. Dershowitz didn’t comment about the controversy whether Epstein was actually murdered because he was about to sing like a canary, naming all the folks that participated in his island paradise in the Virgin Islands. Epstein’s partner in crime of sex trafficking young girls for his island estate Ghislaine Maxwell, now rotting in prison since June 28, 2022. Some are asking for Maxwell to be subpoenaed back to court to answer any questions.
Dershowitz thinks that anything Bondi has in her possession has already come out in the press. “I don’t know of any information that they could disclose that they haven’t disclosed. Now maybe there is some, but I’m simply not aware of it,” Dershowitz told Cuomo. “And so, think it’s important to place the blame where the blame deserves to be placed,” Dershowitz said, pointing to the judges that redacted names from the original documents. Democrats and the fake news hope to embarrass Trump, politicians and celebrities in the whole sordid mess. All the pressure is on Bondi because she probably misspoke when she thought she had a client list at her disposal. When it comes to Epstein’s death by sucide, the New York City Medical Examiner has already ruled Epstein’s death by suicide. So, any other explanations is pure conjecture at this point.
Trump said Bondi was doing a “FANTASTIC JOB,” saying the MAGA crowd and press should move on from the Epstein case because it was no longer news. Bondi got herself into a hot water saying inf February that she had the Epstein client list on her desk. She clarified her remarks saying there was no client list in the documents she had in her possession, leaving the media speculating about a cover-up. Whether Bondi releases what’s in her possession, Trump said she should only release something with credibility. As Dershowitz said, everything about Epstein has already come out in the news, years ago after his July 18, 2019 charge for sex trafficking among other things. Many in the public would like Bondi to unseal Epstein’s grand jury testimony that heard from a long list of accusers, claiming they were raped and sexually abused without their consent.
What’s left about the Epstein case for Democrats and the fake news is another way to give Trump black eye, to drive down his approval ratings before the 2026 Midterm elections where Democrats hope to take back the House. Everything controversial heard about Trump, whether it’s about the economy, Ukraine and deportations, is all designed to discredit the Trump presidency. When it comes to the economy, Wall Street has come roaring back, no longer freaked out by Trump’s tariff policies that have generated billions of income into the U.S. Treasury. Democrats hate the big beautiful bill because it doesn’t depend on government spending to spur economic growth. Democrats and the fake news complain about reducing the size of government while they blame Trump for slashing the federal workforce. Epstein is just another Democrat smokescreen.
