LOS ANGELES.–Just as the world braced for a dangerous Mideast War, President Donald Trump, 79, pulled off a remarkable feat with a complex mission involving seven B-2 stealth bombers, bunker busting GBU-57 bombs and Tomahawk Cruise Missiles, all to neutralize Iran’s nuclear enrichment program.  After a remarkable military feat, Trump then called for peace between Iran and Israel, winning ceasefire fire agreement.  Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said his country was ready to resume nuke talks, despite asserting Iran’s right to enrich uranium.  Iran wants to “assert its legitimate right” to the peaceful use of nuclear power.  Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t trust Iran’s 86-year-old Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to not build an A-bomb, prompting Israel to start bombing Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites at Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan.

Fake news CNN and other anti-Trump networks are quoting anonymous sources saying the Trump B-2 Stealth Bomber strikes didn’t achieve the goal of destroying Iran’s nuclear enrichment program, at best setting it back for a few months.  Whatever the facts about bomb damage assessment, no one at CNN has any real insight into the facts.  White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt slammed the fake news for jumping to unwarranted conclusions. NATO’s Secretary-General profusely praised Trump weekend strikes on Iran’s nuke sites, saying Trump made the world a safer place.  Democrats and the fake news don’t want to hear Pakistan nominate Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize for his work to resolve the conflict between India and Pakistan over Kashmir.  Now Rutte said Trump’s work to broker a peace deal with Israel and Iran is equally commendable.

Instead of reporting the unquestionably positive developments, the Associated Press [AP] chose to write about Trump’s egomania for posting on his Truth Social platform a highly praise-worthy letter from NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte.  AP suggested that Trump reproduced the letter to brag about his recent military victories and peace deal, then suggesting that he using the same unsecure Signal app to communicate to Rutte. AP didn’t report on Iran saying they wanted to resume nuke talks with the Trump administration.  Does that make the AP look bad because they say so many negative things about Trump?  Iran’s President Pezeshkian that Iran never sought a nuclear weapon. “It has never sought to acquire nuclear weapons and does not seek them,” Pezeshkian was quoted by the IRNA state news agency.  Pezeshkian said Iran was ready to resolve its nuke issues with Trump.

Rutte praised Trump for his military intervention, then, more importantly, for his ability to bring a ceasefire to highly destructive 12-day war.  Israel created a lot of damage to Iran’s ballistic missile and military defenses, essentially leaving Iran defenseless to Israeli air strikes.  After 12 days of strikes, Iran’s military has sustained irreversible losses to its military brass and personnel.  Ayatollah Khamenei said he was done trading attacks with Israel, largely because Israel was inflicting the most damage.  Iran retaliated June 22, shooting missiles at the U.S. Ubeid air base in Qatar and Al-Assad air base in Iraq.  Iran tempered the strikes by giving the U.S. advance note, keeping its personnel out of harm’s way.  Trump realized at that point that the Ayatollah was making a veiled peace overture to end the conflict.  This was calibrated and telegraphed in a way that would not result in any American casualties, so that there is an off ramp for both sides,” said Ali Vaez from International Crisis Group.

Trump’s return to NATO comes with the fake news saying he wants to pull the U.S. out of the post-WW II security organization, designed to keep the Soviet Union from taking over Europe.  Brussels thinks that 72-year-old President Vladimir Putin wants more European territory, not from any facts but from statements largely made by 47-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky has been pushing the idea that If Ukraine loses the war, Putin’s next target would be Europe.  Zelensky has no facts other than pure propaganda designed to keep the war going. Now that Trump pulled out of former President Joe Biden’s proxy war with the Kremlin, Zelensky has been scrambling for more cash.  He wants the EU to takeover whether U.S. left off.  Zelenky told the Munich Security Conference that Trump wasn’t concerned about European Security.c

Once the congratulations end over Trump’s Iran military operation, it’s time for NATO and the EU to get fully behind Trump’s peace efforts to end the Ukraine War with or without Zelensky’s cooperation.  Zelensky has shown a cunning, clever side that likes to pit the EU against Trump.  With Trump coming off a remarkable feat in Iran, the EU and NATO should have renewed respect for the American president.  Zelensky must be told that there’s nothing the EU can do to bring about peace in Ukraine.  EU officials, like French President Emmanuel Macron, must tell Zelensky to follow Trump’s lead when it comes to ceasefire and peace talks.  Trump knows exactly what Putin needs to end the conflict. Instead of causing more carnage and destruction, Ukraine’s best path is to end the war in short order, even if it means surrendering sovereign territory to the Kremlin.
