LOS ANGELES.–Speaking on NBC’s “Meet The Press” to Kristen Welker, 64-year-old Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) ducked questions about whether the Democrat Party covered up 82-year-old former President Joe Biden’s age-related cognitive decline.  “Do you think that former President Biden’s advisors mislead the American people about the president’s capabilities,” Welker asked Schiff.  Welker cited reports that Biden’s former Chief of Staff Ron Klain was “startled” during Biden’s debate preparation saying he looked, “fatigued, befuddled and disengaged.”  During the 2024 presidental campaign no one in the Senate defended Biden more than Schiff when it came to covering-up his cognitive impairments.  For Schiff, it’s always about plausible deniability, making a bunch of lame excuses to evade the issue of Biden’s fitness. President Donald Trump made those arguments in the 2020 presidential campaign.

Talking to Schiff is like preaching to the choir, knowing they’re on the same side of aisle when it comes to advancing the Democrat cause. What in the world, with everything going in stock market and Trump’s tariffs is Welker talking about Biden?  Several new books are being released about the 2024 that indicate White House officials, Democrats and the press did everything possible to cover-up Biden’s disabilities, up to the June 27, 2024 ABC News debate where 70 million Americans saw Biden disabilities firsthand.  “It’s hard for me to gauge what the closest advisers of the president were seeing at the time.  I can only speak to the interactions that I had with him, which were, you know, in the months leading up to his getting out of the race, largely ceremonial occasions,” Schiff said, not admitting he vouched for Biden cognitive fitness on numerous occasions.

Schiff has a reputation as a smoke blower, saying and doing anything to advance the Democrat Party agenda.  When it came to the 2024 campaign, Schiff, like other Democrats, was fixated on attacking Trump as a “dictator” and “fascist,” joining White House strategists in attacking Trump’s character, not dealing with pressing campaign issues.  Schiff wouldn’t admit to any cover-up by Democrat officials because he was an integral part of the cover-up, until 63-year-old actor and Democrat activist George Clooney wrote his infamous July 10, 2024 oped in the New York Times calling for Biden to drop out.  When Welker pressed Schiff on whether Biden’s aids covered-up his disabilities, Schiff sidestepped the issue. Schiff was not going to admit he or anyone else in the Biden campaign tried to mislead the public about Biden fitness for office or running for a second term.

Schiff never answers a question directly, only beats around the bush, thinking he can buffalo anyone.  “He made the decision to get out of the race.  I think that was the right decision.  The vice president, as the vice president, I think, ran a great campaign, but could not run away from being a representative of the status quo,” Schiff said.  Schiff refused to say whether Biden’s White House covered-up for him for years while underlings ran the presidency.  Schiff blamed the loss last November on not addressing economic issues.  Well, Schiff touted Biden’s economy, saying that no president added more jobs than Biden.  So, when it comes to praising Biden’s economy, no one touted it more than Schiff.  Welker cited Chris Whipple’s new book, “Uncharted,” quoting Chief of Staff Ron Klain saying that even in debate preparation Biden looked lost, unable to benefit by the preparation.

Schiff has plenty to say about how Trump is destroying the U.S. economy with his reckless tariff policies.  “The catastrophic damage they’re doing to the economy now is going to cause Trump and Republicans to lose Congress, but both parties are going to have to tackle the global challenges to our economy,” Schiff said.  Schiff has no idea what will happen to the stock market in another day, week or month.  He continues to make the most partisan comments imaginable about what a great job Kamala did in the 2024 campaign.  Well, if that were the case, why did she lose all seven battleground states on the way to losing the 2024 election?  Whipple has been taking a lot of heat from Democrats, just like former Special Counsel Robert Hur when he said Feb. 5, 2024 in his final report that Biden suffered from severed memory impairments.  Democrats called for Hur’s head.

Whipple, whose book “Uncharted” exposed a clear conspiracy to hide Biden’s cognitive impairments from the public, now sayint it was not that simple.  Whipple now says that Biden’s inner circle were “in the fog of delusion and denial,” suggesting there was no deliberate, calculated attempt to mislead the public.  Whipple, like other Democrat hacks, can’t admit their own mistakes.  “I have fresh report on an hour-by-hour, day-by-day basis of Biden’s final days, and obviously his decline is a major part of the story,” Whipple told, liberal outlet Politico.  I happen to think that to call it a “cover-up” is too simplistic.  I think it was stranger and way more troubling that that.  Biden’s inner circle, his closest advisers, many of them were in a fog or delusion and denial.  They believed what they wanted to believe,” Whipple said.  No one going to buy that Biden’s wife Jill and sister Valerie Owen didn’t know that Joe was in declining cognitive health for a long time.
